Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this Friday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, Bryan covers President Trump's accusation of sedition against former intelligence and military officials, the deeper pattern of political activism inside America's security agencies, the White House's meeting with New York City's socialist mayor elect, new economic and immigration data, and a sprawling welfare scandal involving Somali migrants in Minnesota. Trump Accuses Former Intel and Military Officials of Sedition: A group of Democratic lawmakers and former intelligence and military officers released a video urging current service members to refuse "illegal orders" from President Trump. Senator Elissa Slotkin and Representative Jason Crow admitted they could not name any unlawful orders but again labeled Trump a fascist and a Nazi. Trump responded by calling their actions sedition and said they should be arrested and tried, adding that such offenses can be punishable by death. Bryan argues the video is part of a ten-year pattern of partisan activism from former security officials who wrap themselves in patriotism while advancing political goals. A Personal Warning About the Deep State: Bryan recounts cases involving Ned Price, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Kevin Clinesmith, and the fifty one former intelligence officials who misled the public about Hunter Biden's laptop. He describes how some officials use the cachet of CIA or military service to shield partisan motives. He also reflects on his former boss, Jennifer Matthews, and objects to her being used for political gain. Trump Hosts New York City's Socialist Mayor Elect: President Trump will meet Zohran Mamdani, the mayor elect of New York City, who openly identifies as a Marxist. Mamdani insists the NYPD will not assist federal deportation efforts, even for violent offenders held at Rikers Island. He says the meeting will focus on public safety and affordability. Bryan questions the wisdom of giving such a figure a platform inside the White House. Economic Signals Improve for Housing and Jobs: Mortgage rates have fallen to about 6.25 percent. Rent prices are dropping in many cities and analysts tie the trend to Trump's deportation operations, which have reduced demand for rental units. Job growth in September exceeded expectations, with 119,000 new positions. Native born workers filled most new roles while foreign-born workers lost ground. Wages are growing faster than inflation. Manufacturing orders appear strong, but exact data are delayed due to the recent shutdown. Tariff Adjustments and Manufacturing Investments: The White House lifted remaining tariffs on Brazilian goods such as beef and coffee to ease grocery prices. GE Appliances will shift more production to Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee due to U.S. tariffs and competitive pressure from Whirlpool. China unexpectedly resumed large soybean purchases and placed a new wheat order, giving U.S. farmers encouraging news. Border Crossings Fall and Medical Strain Eases: Hospitals near San Diego report a dramatic drop in injuries among migrants who fall from the border wall. Emergency rooms say they can finally prioritize American patients because crossings have fallen to lows not seen since the 1970s. Judges Block National Guard Deployments: A federal judge in Washington blocked Trump's deployment of the National Guard to the capital despite clear data showing that Guard operations sharply reduced crime. Similar rulings in Memphis and other cities reflect what Bryan describes as political obstruction at the expense of public safety. Somali Welfare Fraud Funds Terrorism Abroad: City Journal reports that Somali migrants in Minneapolis defrauded Minnesota's Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services program of hundreds of millions of dollars. The money was routed to clan networks and to al-Shabaab in Somalia, making Minnesota taxpayers one of the largest funders of the terror group. More than fifty individuals have been charged. Bryan warns that state leaders have tried to minimize or dismiss the scandal for fear of appearing xenophobic. FBI Analyst Fired After Displaying Pride Flag: An FBI trainee claims he was terminated for displaying a Pride flag at work. The Bureau denies this. Bryan discusses his own experience serving alongside gay and lesbian officers and argues that all personal politics, identities, and symbols should be left outside the workplace so that the mission remains the focus. "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32 Keywords: Trump sedition accusation Slotkin Crow, former intel officials illegal orders video, Deep State political activism, Zohran Mamdani socialist NYC mayor elect, mortgage rates falling deportation effect, GE Appliances reshoring tariffs, China soybean wheat purchases, San Diego border crossings ER cases, National Guard deployment ruling DC, Minneapolis Somali welfare fraud al-Shabaab, FBI pride flag firing claim

Supreme Court Arguments on Presidential Tariff Authority and NYC Mayor-Elect. Professor Richard Epstein analyzes Supreme Court arguments regarding the President's expansive use of a 1977 law to impose tariffs, predicting a likely 7-2 ruling against the administration. Separately, he expresses concern that New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, a self-proclaimed socialist lacking administrative experience, risks impoverishing the city by ignoring competitive federalism.

SEASON 4 EPISODE 31: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: Do you want to hear the real lesson of this week’s Democratic landslide? Mamdani ran on your money issues and that Trump equals death. Sherrill ran on your money issues and that Trump equals death. Spanberger ran on your money issues and that Trump equals death. Prop 50 won on your money issues and that Trump equals death. Hey, you can do both at the same time! Who knew? Not difficult. Easy to remember. Useful on all occasions. Worked in New York, where they elected a socialist when only a quarter of the voters say they are socialists. Worked in Virginia, where they elected as governor an ex-congresswoman born in Jersey. Worked in Jersey, where they elected as a governor an ex-congresswoman born in Virginia. Money Issues, and Trump Equals Death. Useful on all occasions. It’s a floor wax AND a dessert topping. Of course the context is just as much fun as the lesson. That's becauseTrump not only doesn’t realize he got the S kicked out of him, but he doesn’t realize he’s already forced himself to both end the government shutdown and lose the government shutdown. “Trump wasn’t on the ballot,” Trump screamed. “And ‘Shutdown’… were the two reasons that Republicans lost elections...” Ah, poor Trump. Metaphorically, Trump not only was on the ballot - every ballot but he was on the ballot in the worst possible way. Everybody could vote no on him, but it was almost impossible to vote YES. The lame duck politician’s worst nightmare. And right now no duck is lamer than Trump. Democrats: run on your money issues and that Trump equals death. It’s a floor wax and a dessert topping! ALSO: No, I am not going to sanewash Dick Cheney, even after his passing. Yes, at the end, when it was loyalty to the country or Trump he chose the country and it's good to finish strong. But I will still remember him for that 9/11-Iraq exploitation thing. And I am still proud that - as you'll hear - I pissed him off enough as Vice President for him to publicly clap back. B-Block (30:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Roger Stone, who helped advance the deplorable Laura Loomer, is now shocked she's deplorable. Similarly Ben Shapiro, who helped sell Tucker Carlson's evil to the far right, is now shocked he's evil. And I-Never-Winsome Earle-Sears and scabby Fox host Charlie Hurt think Barack Obama not voting for her when he voted for Kamala Harris is hypocritical (so...Earle-Sears voted for Kamala, and Hurt voted for Spanberger?) C-Block (40:30) SPORTSBALLCENTER: You probably aren't interested in my thoughts on the latest new selection committee and the latest eight nominees for baseball's Hall of Fame (though I have many of them). But you may be entertained by the sagas of the previous selection committees and the legend of how the ex-players on them used to cast "courtesy votes" for their old buddies and one year Ted Williams and the others screwed up and accidentally cast way too many of them for a not-so-Hall-of-Famish catcher named Rick Ferrell and he actually got elected.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It's Thursday, November 6th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims killed pastor, kidnapped 20 church members Nigerian Fulani Muslim assailants killed a pastor and nine Christians over the past week. On October 28, Muslim Fulani bandits killed Rev. Yahaya Kambasaya and kidnapped 20 of his church members in central Nigeria. In a neighboring state, militants killed nine Christians in a string of attacks between October 31 and November 3. A Christian attorney in the area told Morning Star News, “These incidents occurred even when they were preceded with an early warning alert given to relevant authorities.” Hamas returns body of American hostage Hamas, the Palestinian Muslim terrorist group, returned to Israel the body of the last American hostage it was holding in Gaza on Tuesday. Itay Chen was a 19-year-old Israeli-American soldier. He was killed and taken hostage during the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio posted on X, “We honor his life, mourn his loss, and stand by his family.” Muslim socialist Zohran Mamdani elected as New York City mayor In the United States, Democrats won several elections after voters went to the polls on Tuesday. Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic socialist, won the race for mayor of New York City, and gave his victory speech Tuesday night. MAMDANI: “The sun may have set over our city this evening, but as Eugene Debs once said, (cheering) ‘I can see the dawn of a better day for humanity.' (cheering) “For as long as we can remember, the working people of New York have been told by the wealthy and the well-connected that power does not belong in their hands. Fingers bruised from lifting boxes on the warehouse floor, palms calloused from delivery bike handle bars, knuckles scarred with kitchen burns. These are not hands that have been allowed to hold power. And yet, over the last 12 months, you have dared to reach for something greater. (cheering) Tonight, against all odds, we have grasped it. (cheering) The future is in our hands. (cheering) “My friends, we have toppled a political dynasty.” (cheering) He is now the first Muslim mayor of the biggest U.S. city, who beat former Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo. NBC News reported that Zohran Mamdani got 50.4% of the vote, former Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo got 41.6%, and Republican Curtis Sliwa got 7.1% On CNN, conservative commentator Scott Jennings explained who Eugene Debbs was whom Mamdani quoted with great admiration. JENNINGS: “He started his speech by quoting Eugene Debs, who ran for president of the United States five times as the Socialist Party of America candidate. “He went after everybody that he thinks is a problem. People who own things, people who have businesses. He said an interesting quote, ‘No problem too large for government to solve.' And so, when you think of the world that way, that every problem is something for government to do, let me just decipher this for you. “Tax increases as far as the eye can see which means the people who need to provide jobs, to the young people that you say need jobs, are going to flee as quickly as they possibly can. “He clearly sees the world in terms of the people who are oppressing you and the oppressed. And he said, ‘The oppressed are now in city hall.'” Democrat victories in other blue states There were two other notable Democratic victories. Democrat Abigail Spanberger won the race for governor of Virginia with 56.3%, becoming the first woman to do so, reported NBC News. She beat Winsome Sears, who got 43.2% of the vote, and served as the Republican Lt. Governor under the term-limited Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin. And Democrat Mikie Sherrill won the race for governor of New Jersey with 56.3% of the vote, keeping the position in the hands of Democrats, and beating Republican Jack Ciattarelli. Vice President J.D. Vance responded to the elections on X. He said there's no reason to “overreact to a couple of elections in blue states.” But he also added, “We have to do better at turning out voters than we have in the past.” Republican leaders prayed for America Republican leaders and lawmakers joined with the Family Research Council for a time of prayer last Thursday. Listen to the opening comments from Tony Perkins, the president of Family Research Council. PERKINS: “Jesus said this in Matthew chapter 18:19. “He says, ‘Again, I say to you, if two of you agree on Earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered in My name, there I am among them.' “So tonight, we gather with the recognition that we need God's help. We gather in the name of Jesus to pray and ask for His hand, the Lord's hand of guidance, the Holy Spirit to lead us.” And listen to some of the closing prayer from Dr. Ben Carson, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. CARSON: “Lord, we come before you today to pray for our nation. You have blessed the United States with freedom and opportunity and a rich legacy of faith. Please restore the righteousness in our homes, integrity in our institutions, unity among our people. “And thank You for Your abundant blessing, Lord. You're bringing us together this evening through electronic media. But we know You're with us always. And we ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would bless us and bless this nation. Amen.” Vatican rejects Mary, mother of Jesus, as co-Redeemer On Tuesday, the Roman Catholic Church rejected Mary, the mother of Jesus, as the “co-Redeemer” of the world. The Vatican's top doctrinal office stated, “Any gaze directed at her that distracts us from Christ or that places her on the same level as the Son of God would fall outside the dynamic proper to an authentically Marian faith.” However, World Magazine notes the statement does not affirm a Protestant perspective on Mary. The Evangelical publication wrote, “Protestants believe Mary was ‘highly favored' by the Lord, but they do not believe she has an active role in the lives of believers.” 1 Timothy 2:5 says, “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.” Construction begins on Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer And finally, constructions begins this week on what is set to be the largest Christian monument in the United Kingdom. It's called the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer. The design for it is in the shape of an infinity loop called a Möbius strip, a surface which has neither beginning nor end. It will stand 170 feet tall and made out of one million bricks. Each brick will be linked to a story of answered prayer. Already, Christians have submitted 120,000 stories from 125 countries. Richard Gamble, the project's founder, said, “This is the moment to build a landmark of hope… a lasting testimony to the power of prayer, preserving the Christian heritage in our nation.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, November 6th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Democrats won two governor's races in Virginia and New Jersey, victories they call a rejection of President Trump's policies and a sign that economic issues are resonating with voters. New York City elected Zohran Mamdani as its first Muslim mayor, defeating former governor Andrew Cuomo in a race that drew record voter turnout. And California voters approved a new congressional map that could give Democrats up to five more House seats in next year's midterms.Want more comprehensive analysis of the most important news of the day, plus a little fun? SEASON 4 EPISODE 30: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: If Andrew can no longer be PRINCE because of Jeffrey Epstein, Trump can no longer be PRESIDENT because of Jeffrey Epstein. I think Trump understands this. I have no doubt Mike Johnson understands this. I believe even large swaths of the otherwise imbecilic MAGA understand this. It is why Trump and Johnson and the others are starving the needy; dissolving Congress; destroying the domestic balance of power and gutting the work infrastructure at airports, government agencies, and services. It is why they are even cutting the legs out from under every Republican candidate in tomorrow’s handful of elections. Andrew has been convicted of nothing; Trump has been convicted of nothing. There are no astounding legal findings against Andrew; there are no astounding legal findings against Trump. There are probably no smoking guns about Andrew in the Epstein files; there are probably no smoking guns about Trump in the Epstein files. The status of their scandals is roughly identical. Just as importantly: the English monarchy wants to publicly atone for Andrew and based on heavy news reporting in the UK it is apparently pressing Andrew to reveal what he knows about Epstein – presumably about TRUMPStein. Meanwhile only Trump, would throw a Gatsby party with himself as Gatsby and scantily-clad women in giant Martini glasses, in the middle of his own sex ring crisis. In any event: If Andrew can no longer be PRINCE because of Jeffrey Epstein. Trump can no longer be PRESIDENT because of Jeffrey Epstein. B-Block (28:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: After O'Donnell flames him, Scott Jennings insists Lawrence O'Donnell, whose show is beating Jennings's CNN show in the ratings by 60%, is irrelevant. Karolyin Leavitt was appalled that there was a bathroom inside the White House. And before tomorrow's election, Andrew Cuomo has proclaimed himself "Mayor." C-Block (36:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Well the World Series ended just as I told you it would: With everybody demanding Fox never again interview a manager during Game 7. I was a Fox TV Baseball Dugout Reporter: Here's Why We Don't Need Them (except for emergencies; in 40 games in which I filled that role, there were maybe three emergencies. I'll recount the best of them - the on-field dispute that came this close to turning into a riot involving the New York Yankees, the Boston Cops, and thousands of drunken Red Sox fans. And it ended with me being ordered to sit, essentially, on George Steinbrenner's lap).See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, there are times when you must confront evil. Mark Levin has been fighting for the conservative movement for over 55 years. There are these podcasters with big companies and foreign money behind them who haven't contributed anything to the country. Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes haven't done anything for the country, merely grifting for profit. Those with microphones must speak out and uphold integrity, honesty, and confront poisonous ideologies—left or right—that threaten the country, the culture and the party. Jews and Christians are under attack from these podcasters. Carlson is part of the enemy within. Also, Zohran Mamdani is a Marxist-Islamist bigot who hates America, Jews, and moderate Muslims as he smears the NYPD and IDF/Israel. His rhetoric sounds like Fuentes and Carlson. The NYPD is in for a horrific for years if Mamdani is elected as NYC Mayor. Later, the United States could be on track to lose a conventional war with China primarily due to a critical shortfall in industrial capacity to rebuild after initial combat waves. America lacks the ability to rapidly produce ships or tanks, while China excels at building them in massive quantities and at high speed. For over a decade, Communist China has operated on a war footing, aggressively preparing for expansionist imperialism and colonialism. Learn more about your ad choices.
