Alison speaks with Dr. Daniel Suissa, a plastic surgeon based in Miami, who specializes in body contouring and liposuction. Their conversation began by discussing the nuances of these procedures, examining not only what they entail but also the safety and effectiveness of current techniques.Dr. Suissa shared the evolution of liposuction as a procedure, dating back to its experimental beginnings in the 1960s, and explained the modern approach to liposuction, which focuses on what remains of the body after the procedure, rather than simply removing excess fat. He articulated a philosophy that focuses on leaving the right amount of fat in appropriate areas to ensure natural proportions and aesthetic harmony.During their discussion, Dr. Suissa recounted meaningful experiences from his career that have shaped his understanding of the emotional and psychological aspects of body image. He shared a powerful story about a patient who, despite her dedication to fitness and healthy living, felt discontent due to stubborn fat in her lower abdomen. This case underscored the reality that many individuals exert incredible effort toward self-care yet may still struggle with specific areas of concern—areas that can be addressed through procedures like liposuction, when appropriate. They also touched upon the rise of GLP medications in the weight management landscape, and how they can complement surgical options when it makes sense. Dr. Suissa explained the importance of a holistic approach to health—where lifestyle changes, fitness, and medical interventions can work synergistically to enhance overall well-being. He articulated that body contouring procedures, when approached in this balanced manner, become part of a comprehensive self-care plan that aligns physical appearance with personal confidence and self-acceptance.HIGHLIGHTS:4:03 Understanding Liposuction6:24 The Role of Aesthetic Surgery12:20 Self-Care and Body Image13:58 Integrating Procedures into Fitness Routines15:49 The Impact of GLP Medications19:32 Celebrating Imperfections in Self-Careconnect with Dr. Suissawebsite: https://squlptbody.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/squlptSPONSOR:Cellev8Discount code: THEALISONK2024 ALISON'S LINKS:Website | Facebook | Twitter | InstagramGET MY FREE 4 part Pop-up Podcast SeriesJOIN Borderless Hybrid Innovators FB GroupINNOVATION AVENUE: Fitness and Self-Care Revolution

Titre:  Not Kings Auteur: Candy Says Source: https://candysays.bandcamp.com/ Licence: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/deed.frTéléchargement (8MB): https://auboutdufil.com/?id=561 Hébergé par Ausha. What does it mean to raise a child who trusts themselves while also healing the parts of you that were never given that chance? In this conversation, I sit down with Sterna Suissa, parenting coach and trauma-informed educator, to explore how our own childhood experiences shape the way we show up as parents. We unpack the subtle ways control sneaks in, why respecting a child's “no” is the foundation for lifelong self-trust, and how to repair when we inevitably miss the mark. And this isn't just for parents! Even if you don't have kids, this is a deeply healing conversation about being human. Every single one of us was once a child, raised by people who made mistakes. Sterna's insights on boundaries, emotional safety, and self-trust will help you reflect on your own upbringing and begin to reparent yourself with more compassion. The dialogues are blunt, and provocative, and point out the negative effects that the current war on science going on within universities is having on the progress of science and scholarship in the west. We are hoping that the essays penned by this remarkable group of scholars will help provoke discussion both within universities and the public at large about how to restore trust, excellence, merit, and most important sound science, free speech and free inquiry on university campuses. Many academics have buried their heads in the sand hoping this nonsense will go away. It hasn't and we now need to become more vocal, and unified in combatting this modern attack on science and scholarship. The book was completed before the new external war on science being waged by the Trump administration began. Fighting this new effort to dismantle the scientific infrastructure of the country is important, and we don't want to minimized that threat. But even if the new attacks can be successfully combatted in Congress, the Courts, and the ballot box, the longstanding internal issues we describe in the new book, and in the interviews we are releasing, will still need to be addressed to restore the rightful place of science and scholarship in the west. I am hoping that you will find the interviews enlightening and encourage you to look at the new book when it is released, and help become part of the effort to restore sound science and scholarship in academia. It's a fun BEHIND THE LENS this week thanks to writer/director/actor Rachel Suissa who I spoke with a few weeks ago specifically for today's show which is a salute to Mothers and Mother's Day courtesy of Rachel's new film GREEK MOTHERS NEVER DIE. Based on Rachel's own life, mapcap adventures, and mother-daughter angst, GREEK MOTHERS NEVER DIE is a love letter not only to Rachel's own mother, but mothers everywhere. Written, directed and starring Rachel Suissa, GREEK MOTHERS NEVER DIE is a delightful rom-com, brimming with Greek passion and plenty of family drama, as late bloomer Ella dreams of becoming a singer, but her overbearing Greek mother, Despina insists she take over the Gyros business and marry a Greek man. Rachel is animated, engaging, and thoughtful, all things that you'll hear in this exclusive conversation as we break down every element of the film, starting with highlighting its universal appeal and personal connections that it evokes. Rachel bares it all as she talks about the genesis and journey to make the film and shares anecdotes about her mother's influence, including a humorous scene where her mother bribed someone to hang out with her. We discuss the film's casting, particularly Abby Miner as Ella, which has a genuine and authentic feel. As we break down the production elements of GREEK MOTHERS NEVER DIE, we dive into the cinematography, editing process – and Rachel's unique method for selecting an editor, location and a favorite highlight of mine, the use of comic book graphics as scene interstitials, as well as the importance of music, which blends Greek and American themes. And Rachel even gives us some early intel on her next film, another fish out of water tale called "The American." http://eliasentertainmentnetwork.com

The eternal life wisdom is the culmination of Samuel's soul searching for truth and is the true teachings from the Melchizedek-Cloister-Emerald order. The 12-strand DNA activation course consists of 16 videos and 12 techniques in the original light language, Anuhazi Mu'ah. Participants are encouraged to take what resonates with them and leave what doesn't. The course is self-paced and self-study, and participants can measure their progress by paying attention to which sacred songs resonate with their DNA. Support is available for participants who have questions or need guidance. The conversation explores the importance of investing time and effort in the 12-strand DNA activation course and the Flame Bodies course. It emphasizes the need to arrange the sacred songs in a way that resonates with the individual and to be consistent with the practice. The conversation also touches on the revised course and its expected release date. The Flame Bodies course is discussed as a way to rearrange the 12-stranded DNA potential. The conversation highlights the availability of a sacred songbook and a SoundCloud playlist to support the chanting practice. The cost of the course is addressed, emphasizing the value of the wisdom and the importance of energy exchange. So, whether you're a startup founder, investor, or business leader, these insights will transform your approach to technology, customer relationships, and strategic planning. Episode Highlights:06:03 - I think one of the most important things an entrepreneur can do early on is find a design partner. So, you always have customers, but there are customers who will put in the sweat equity with you because they see what you're doing is so important to their business and could drive so much value for them that they're willing to give you feedback and spend time with you, and try different things. I think that's really important for understanding what you're building and building it the right way. Caveat being, you need to have your own vision. You don't want to build just for one customer. You have to remember this has to be a platform or a technology that applies to many. But often one customer will give you enough of a framework that it'll apply to many different folks.12:22 - In the venture world and in the startup world and the entrepreneur's world, we sell what could be the vision. But a customer wants what they can use now that drives ROI now that brings them a return and value now for the problem that they're experiencing. And so, I think that that's a really important thing. When you're going into a customer, you could sell a vision. You could sell a tool set that they could do a million things with, but they're not going to think for you. So, at the end of the day, you want to be able to say, "I know you have this pain point. I can solve this now." 16:55 - Make sure that it's not as valuable to them or not useful to them, whoever the attacker is. And so, that was really where we came to Endpoint Security, which will be the next revolution. Basically, taking that paradigm and realizing this is the new paradigm. Let's think about it this way and build the best solution for that. And so, that's why we invested at SineWave and Sentinel One, which ended up being the biggest cyber IPO ever. They did great. And then what's the next revolution? Not just we can Whack-A-Mole this new bug, or we can add a nice feature onto what Sentinel One can do in Endpoint. What is the next paradigm shift that requires people to architect their systems or think about the industry differently?26:24 - It's a marriage. I'm going to be around longer than some of your wives and husbands are going to be, especially if you build a second company after the first decade, first company. And so, you want to make sure that you're really working with the people you want to work with. I say that at SineWave all the time. We are a team that has a particular culture that works for us. He has asked other various inappropriate questions even in regards to the time frame of when she met her husband to the first time they had sex. He also questioned Attorney Nicole if her mother was an immigrant from Puerto Rico, and used her childhood homelessness against her. He also questioned why would she file an abuse report if she didn't have black eyes and a broken back and that was petty and how could she risk her ex's career that way..... Attorney Nicole questioned the misogynistic attitude of this judge as well as being a racist.    Her case which should have been 12 days has been stretched out over the span of eight months. Daniele J Suissa is a Moroccan Director- Producer, Professor and Mentor who has an extensive career that spans from France, to Canada, to the US, to Jordan and Morocco. Danièle is 81 years young. I wish I could have this much drive and passion at her age.  Daniele has collaborated with many personalities such as Robert Hossein, Anais Nin and Jeanne Moreau to name a few. She is very discreet and rarely speaks about herself and accomplishments…. Since 1998 she has dedicated most of her time sharing everything she has learned from her 60 years of experience. During the pandemic, she published her book “The DJS technique, tools for directors, actors and storytellers” which she had promised to her global students.  To get in touch with Danièle, here's her email : djs@danielejsuissa.com Join the conversation and share your feedback with us on Apple Podcast, Linkedin and Instagram: @manalbernoussi @danielejsuissa
