Born on April 30, 1986 in Burlington, ON, Kate Psota joined the Women's National Team in 2004 and evolved into one of its best and longest tenured players.A standout hockey and baseball player during her youth, Psota honed her skills with the Burlington Organized Minor Baseball Association (BOMBA) where she cracked the roster of a boys triple-A rep team at age nine. Four years later, she was named to Team Ontario and then proceeded to become the first female to receive the Baseball Ontario Junior Player of the Year award in 2002.When the Women's National Team was formed in 2004, Psota made the team and developed into a star at first base who regularly hit near the top of the order.In 2008, Psota won Baseball Canada's Ashley Stephenson Award, which is handed out annually to a women's team member to recognize their on-field accomplishments, team spirit and leadership. She followed that up by being named the Women's National Team MVP in back-to-back years (2009, 2010).In her 15 seasons competing for Canada, Psota was on teams that captured six Women's World Cup medals, including silvers at the 2008 and 2016 tournaments. Throughout that time, she was an offensive force for Canada, batting .552 and .440 in the 2012 and 2018 World Cups respectively to help Canada to a bronze medal at each of those competitions.In total, Psota was named to the World Cup All-Star team four times (2010, 2012, 2016 and 2018) and was also a member of the silver medal-winning Canadian squad at the 2015 Pan Am Games.She hung up her playing spikes in 2021 and became a coach with the Women's National Team. Chase Fraser is a Canadian professional lacrosse player who plays as a forward for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs of the National Lacrosse League and as an attackman for Chaos Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League.Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Fraser's athletic career began with baseball, but he found the physicality of lacrosse more to his liking, and he developed a rivalry with future Bandits teammate Josh Byrne. From his Sophomore to Senior year of High School, he attended Blue Ridge School, an all boys, all boarding school in Saint George, Virginia, where he was recruited to play lacrosse. He helped Blue Ridge to their best lacrosse season in decades. Fraser played his first three years of college lacrosse for the District of Columbia Firebirds, where he tallied 87 goals and 22 assists over 33 games and helped inaugurate the lacrosse program at the University of the District of Columbia. Fraser spent his senior year at Neumann University, where he scored 66 goals in 14 games. He played junior lacrosse for the Delta Islanders of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League, where he played in the 2016 Minto Cup tournament. Fraser was taken third overall in the 2017 Western Lacrosse Association draft by the Nanaimo Timbermen. In 34 career regular season games with Nanaimo, he tallied 64 goals and 36 assists.Chase Fraser was drafted thirteenth overall in the 2017 NLL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Bandits. He also serves as the play-by-play voice for the 2024 Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League for that station's gameday broadcasts, as well as their Manager of Communications. Hogan was formerly a long time sports talk radio host on Toronto station CJCL (AM), branded "The Fan 590", Hogan was born in Kingston, Ontario.Hogan previously hosted a weekday morning sports radio show on the Fan 590 called The Mike Hogan Show (originally named The Bullpen) from 9 AM to 12 PM.
