Dana McBride, born and raised in Greensboro, NC, was bitten by the acting bug at the age of seven when her mother relented and registered her for acting classes. Dana went on to act in school plays until graduating high school. She continued to enhance her acting skills by taking acting courses at the Greensboro Cultural Center while studying Communications at Guilford Technical Community College.After graduating from GTCC, Dana decided to pursue acting in film. She has appeared in numerous films since then. Dana pursued all avenues of entertainment leading to a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Mike Farwell is the host of The Mike Farwell Show and the play-by-play broadcaster for the Kitchener Rangers on CityNews 570. Mike also runs an annual fundraising campaign called Farwell4Hire, during which he does odd jobs in exchange for a donation to CF. The Farwell4Hire fundraising campaign was created in memory of Luanne and Sheri Farwell. These courageous sisters lost their lives to cystic fibrosis (CF), the most common fatal genetic disease in Canada. Luanne died in the fall of 1993 at the age of 24 and, just nine months later, Sheri succumbed to cystic fibrosis at the age of 18. These young women left a legacy of caring, compassion, and kindness, characteristics that are remembered fondly to this day. This campaign carries on Luanne and Sheri's legacy by contributing to important research that will one day create a world without CF. Managed entirely through the efforts of volunteers, every dollar donated to Farwell4Hire is a dollar donated directly to CF. Metzline “Mezzy” Desravines is a Haitian American, who, was born in Queens and raised in Long Island. Coming from Queens she always stood out in more ways than one. Her second grade teacher Miss Yonkers gave her her nickname Mezzy. She began her journey and entertainment when she went to your college in 2012. That is when she started her very first radio show “Mez in ya Mental”. on that show, she would bring different creatives onto speak about what they do do in the school. before graduating, she was offered an opportunity to intern for Cox media group. She was able to turn that internship into being on 106.1 BLI on weekends and nights for the next five years. Soon after that, received an opportunity to be The Morning Show host at Party 105.3 in Long Island, New York. She was a part of the “The Wake Up” the Morning Show for the next three years. On one random evening, she was watching Comedy Central, and this one particular stand-up special, stood out to her, it happened to be Patrice O'Neill elephant in the room. That sparked something in her. During that time, she was speaking to a dear friend, when she told them that she she had been thinking about doing Comedy. The friend suggested that she start writing some jokes down. After nine months of writing jokes down, the dear friend, had moved to Los Angeles, and Mezzy decided to take a trip to go see her because it also happened to be Mezzy‘s 25th birthday weekend celebration. On one of the days of the celebration, Mezzy had asked the Dear friend, what they were going to do, and the dear friend simply replied “ we're going to see you do a comedy show”. That night she went to Cleo Kings open mic in Hollywood California. September 15, 2016 that was the day that has became a comedian and never looked back. When she got back to New York, she immediately started to look for shows in Long Island where she was living. She was able to get some shows at Governors in Long Island, as well as many other private bars and gigs. Shortly after that, she moved to Queens to be closer to shows out in the city. From then she began to do shows in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia and upstate New York. In 2023 she was one of the featured headliners for the first ever uptown comedy festival in Utica New York. There she headlined one of their shows. Recently Ryan, was informed that he was the first Black man to form an all-women's sports league. While this fact blew my mind, his goal was simple: to provide women with opportunities to advance their careers.
