In this episode, I give you all the goods on Dark Goddess Hekate! This is my masterclass, that was only just made available to my magical mentees last month, September 2024. In this episode you'll find A condensed exploration of her energy and how I channel and offer work with her. The idea that is no right way to be a witch, and spirituality is an infinite spectrum. A baseline and container for understanding Hekate and working with her. Who is Hekate? Greek Goddess of magic, spells, curses, crossroads, night, the moon, necromancy, ghosts, the dead, the Underworld, and the liminal space. Originally a goddess of home protection, wilderness, and childbirth. Mother of all witches, including Circe. A tough love mother who pushes us to grow, evolve, and make good decisions. Known as the doula of liminal spaces, lighting the path and providing guidance. The original dark goddess who teaches us to embrace the shadows and our deepest selves. Hekate's History and Attributes Originally a Turkish sun goddess, later adopted by the Greeks. Daughter of the Titan Perses and the nymph Asteria, or Zeus and Demeter. Known as Kleidocuse, keeper of the keys. Teaches us the importance of silence and self-discovery. Emphasizes that we are the magic and the spell. Concerned with generating better humans and making wise decisions. Offers a "holy hell yes" or "fuck no" approach to life. Teaches us to alchemize grief and loss into wisdom. Governs the dead and assists souls in transition. Has counterparts in Hindu, Slavic, and Slavic Paganism. Her season is Autumn, the shadow season. The new moon belongs to Hekate. Her day is November 16th, Night of Hekate. Her elements are water, earth, and the cosmic heavens. Her numbers are 4 and 10. Dark goddesses call us to reclaim our full spectrum of ourselves and challenge societal norms. Hekate's imbalance is retribution and revenge, while her balance is self-empowerment. Hekate's Symbols and Offerings Symbols: keys, lanterns, torches, black dogs, black cats, the Triple Moon, new moon, doorways, gateways, paths, the pentagram, oak, snakes, horseheads, yew, aconite, yarrow, traditional witch gear. Offerings: symbols, skulls, caskets, headstones, garlic, coffee, coffee beans, dark chocolate, red wine, lavender, black crystals. Working with Hekate Make consistent offerings before asking for anything. Leave offerings at the nearest crossroads for Hekate. Perform a Deipnon Work with Hekate to heal decision-making, perfectionism, confidence, self-trust, ageism, the Mother Wound, the Witches Wound, wounds of maturing, grief, loneliness, issues around death, ancestral hexes, binds, curses, wayward spirits, haunted spaces, people-pleasing, internalized patriarchy, and internalized misogyny. Hekate's energy might resonate as she/her or they/them. She is a nurturer and protector of the marginalized. Hekate in the Tarot The Hierophant: ushering spirits between the seen and unseen. The Hermit: the liminal space and guidance. Death: endings and new beginnings. The Moon: self-discovery and facing shadows. Queen of Wands: manifestation and daily magic. 4 of Wands: commitment to happiness and foundations. 4 of Pentacles: resources and circulation. 10 of Swords: ending the bullshit and moving forward. 10 of Wands: crossroads and carrying burdens. Mantras Offered by Hekate I am the full spectrum of my parts. I am more protected than I know. I make excellent decisions. I am here to act in integrity. Making bold choices is rewarded. The liminal space is a birth canal of creativity and empowerment. I get comfortable in the uncomfortable. I will know the empowered choice to make, when it's time. There's no right way to be a witch. Age offers wisdom. I am the past, present, and future all at the same time. Conclusion Hekate is a powerful and transformative goddess who can guide us on our journeys. By understanding her energy and working with her, we can unlock our highest potential and embrace our true selves. My guest this week on “I HAVE TODAY with Diane Forster” is the incredible Felena Hanson. Felena calls herself “unemployable” after her position was eliminated in 2003.  She became an entrepreneur back then…and she's never looked back! When Felena launched her first business, Perspective Marketing, she found her passion for supporting other female entrepreneurs through leadership roles with several professional women's organizations, including Women's Global Network and Ladies Who Launch. In 2010, Felena recognized the trend of the gig economy and the rise of coworking spaces. After nine months of research, she saw a gap in the market for a space that was especially welcoming to women. She launched her first coworking space in San Diego, California, in 2011 and has since built six additional locations across the country. Hera Hub, named after the Greek Goddess of Women, still stands out in the sea of thousands of coworking spaces. This is not only due to its spa-inspired elements but also because of the robust business support.  In addition to in-person, community-building events, the online platform provides members with daily mentoring, accountability, and educational sessions to keep them connected and productive.  Over the last decade, Hera Hub and its family of brands have helped over 13,000 women start or grow their businesses.  Felena is on a mission to reach over 20,000 women. Felena is a published author and international speaker.  Her book, “Flight Club – Rebel, Reinvent, and Thrive: How to Launch Your Dream Business” is available on Amazon. And…on top of all this…Felena had a catastrophic accident in her twenties that it's a miracle she is alive talk about today! Join us for a lively conversation as Felena shares her wisdom and advice to being a women business owner TODAY!

The Chakra Way Meditation Podcast

Agape was a Greek Goddess of Love and the concept of her type of love has been used frequently to explain the type of love that God has for us and that we have for God. Today I am bringing Agape into a broader context of feeling connection, compassion and kindness to everyone who crosses our path. It is a tough time of year (especially in the cold, dark winter months for the Northern Hemisphere!) and when we go inside ourselves with our struggles we are isolating ourselves from the connections that will nurture and support us. When we get caught up in our own narratives we feel as though we are the only ones feeling like this - but we are a collective consciousness, we are not singular! That is a trick of the ego! In finding connection, in extending kindness and compassion with others we feel more whole within ourselves. So, the idea of Agape is one that is fundamental to our own sense of peace and happiness. It is a pleasure to welcome singer-songwriter Gabriella Raelyn to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. Born in Denver, Colorado, Gabriella listened to 1980s pop icons, including The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Madonna, who would later heavily inspire her to create her music. She composes, sings, arranges, and produces all her songs. Gabriella's music blends Alternative R&B, Baroque Pop, Darkwave, and Electro House. Her tunes have an overarching theme of romanticism and often feature storylines that explore agony and the passion of star-crossed lovers and forbidden love through dark femininity's lens. On October 13, 2023, Gabriella released Nephele: Act I. The album drew inspiration from a fictional character she named after Nephele, the Greek Goddess of Clouds. Zeus created her as a replica of his wife, Hera, to test another man's integrity who also lusted after Hera. Through her music, Gabriella breathes life into the captivating narrative of Nephele, a 21-year-old enchantress from the vibrant 80s era. Engaged in a fierce internal struggle of displacement and melancholy, Nephele: Act I pulses with raw emotion, encapsulating the heartache and courage of a young woman's journey to find her place in a world seemingly determined to cast her adrift. In this edition of The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Gabriella Raelyn spoke about Nephele: Act I's creation process, her TikTok success, and transforming some of modern-day pop's hits into successful 80s-inspired covers, including Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness."

Let's take a break from the dreary true crime stuff for a sec and look at some fun ancient history and mythology for a change! Today we're talking about Theia, who is sort of a forgotten God now-a-days, but in ancient Greece, she was super important. She is responsible for basically all the light around us, and out ability to see... period. She's the Goddess of the sun, light, sight, and wisdom, among other things. Her role became a little less important as time went on, but through her kids, Helios, Eos, and Selene, her legacy lived on. The Goddess, The Witch & The Womb

Hecate is a Greek Goddess who rules liminal space, crossroads, thresholds, cemeteries, spirits, life, death, transitions, herbalism and magic. She is primarily a Moon Goddess and also shows herself as a triple goddess and Queen of the Witches, and she is represented as having three heads looking three different directions.   Recently on social media, Hecate has been portrayed as being connected with the Devil. April, Harmony and Maggie debunk this theory as they explore the historical context of Hecate being in the Greek pantheon before Christianity and before the concept of the Devil was even in existence.   Topics in this episode: Family lineage of Hecate The Devil as a concept The idea of right or wrong path choices at the crossroads Porphyry's writings about Hecate before Christianity and drawing down the Moon Social media portraying Hecate as evil and bad Fear of the Unknown Three phases of Hecate; seen with white robe and sandals, seen with the new moon, seen holding a basket Hecate shows up in the story of Persephone and Hades Liminal spaces for Magick Shapeshifting dogs and the three-headed dog, Cerberus, who guards the underworld Moon goddess ruling the subconscious The Moon card in the Tarot and the meaning of the dogs/wolves Emerging abilities of seeing spirits Calling on a circle of protection or circle of empowerment before doing spells How to honor a cemetery with an offering at the gate     Soul Growth Tarot Message with Maggie: https://www.maggieclark.net   April accepting new students: starwindssage@gmail.com   Divine Feminine Membership: https://mysticharmonymysteryschool.teachable.com/p/membership   Priestess Path: COUPON CODE FOR 13% OFF: GWW13 https://mysticharmonymysteryschool.teachable.com/p/priestess-path-1     Connect with the Goddesses: https://www.goddesswitchwomb.com   Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/goddesswitchwomb/   https://www.instagram.com/starwindssage3/   https://www.instagram.com/mysticharmonyrose/   https://www.instagram.com/maggiegoddess/   Follow us on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@goddesswitchwomb   https://www.tiktok.com/@mysticharmonyrose   https://www.tiktok.com/@maggiegoddess   https://www.tiktok.com/@thestellawindssage3

What better way to spark endorphins than by making others laugh? This week is dedicated to discussing the relationship between humor, happiness, and mental health, and I had the honor of bringing Stand-Up Comedian and Actress Ellen Karis, otherwise known as the "Greek Goddess of Comedy," onto the podcast to chat all things comedy. Ellen has performed stand-up all over North America and has a new special coming out on "Dry Bar Comedy." She was also in Tina Fey's movie "Sisters" and plays a waitress on "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" for the last 3 season. Make sure to check out her podcast, "Karis Comedy Corner" on iTunes. In this episode, Ellen talks about how she got into performing comedy after working in the corporate world, the art of humor and happiness, some hot takes on the Chris Rock/Will Smith incident at the Oscars, and how comedians grapple with their mental health. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/stella-stephanopoulos/support
