Hour 1: Boomer is still out with Covid and Al is out sick too, so it's Gio & Jerry with C-Lo on updates. The Rangers won game 5 to stay alive and force a game 6 Friday in Pittsburgh. Was Jacob Trouba's hit on Sidney Crosby a dirty hit? Gio does not believe Trouba was targeting Crosby. Jerry agrees it was not a dirty hit. Gio also says if Crosby is out moving forward, Rangers fans should buy their tickets for the second round. With Jerry in for Boomer, C-Lo is in for Jerry. He has a problem with Gio declaring the Rangers are a lock to win the series if Sidney Crosby is out. Then he started the update with highlights and reaction from the Rangers win. Then CLo tells us about the Mets loss and the Yankees win. Tylor Megill struggled and Gleyber Torres had another big day at the plate. The Bucks came back against the Celtics and played great defense in the final minute. Sean Marks met the media and spoke about Kyrie Irving. In the last segment, the guys discuss the highest-earning broadcasters in sports, including a colleague who cracked the list. Hour 2: The 7am hour starts with Gio and Jerry wondering if Jacob Trouba will be suspended for his hit on Sidney Crosby. Most callers agree it was not dirty. C-Lo returns for an update. Before he begins, the guys share stories of screening phone calls then Jerry and Eddie have an update on Al's detective work. CLo has highlights from the Rangers game 5 win to stay alive and send the series back to Pittsburgh on Friday. The Mets lost to the Nationals 8-3 after Tylor Megill struggled early and the Yankees beat the Blue Jays 5-3 thanks in large part to Gleyber Torres. Brian Cashman met the media and discussed Aaron Judge's contract situation. The Bucks beat the Celtics and the Grizzlies blew out the Warriors. In the final segment of the hour, Gio provides an update on a phishing scam he was a target of recently. Hour 3: The 8am hour starts with praise for the Yankees who won again and are 22-8 through 30 games. Gio and Jerry look at what's been different for the Yankees this year versus last year. They look around baseball and compare the Mets road in the NL East to the much more competitive NL West. The Mets play a rubber game against the Nationals today. Can they keep up their streak of not losing a series? A caller asks if there is anything the Yankees can do in the regular season to convince the guys this team is different. Jerry says no but Gio says yes and explains how he doesn't hate the Yankees the way he despises the current Nets. Then they get ready for tonight's NFL schedule release. C-Lo returns for another update. He starts with the Rangers and the guys discuss tough pronunciations as Gio imagines the great John Minko attempting to say some of these names. Tylor Megill struggled and the Mets lost to the Nationals. They'll go for the series win today. They break down Noah Syndergaard's latest twitter antics. The Yankees won again and swept the Blue Jays. In the last segment of the hour, the guys discuss Jerry's remaining fear for when the Cowboys could be playing on a holiday (and Jerry would have to work the game). Then the guys discuss the kind of season the Jets need to have. Hour 4: The 9am hour starts with Gio and Jerry guessing the early season totals for the Giants and Jets and Gio being surprised at the current numbers. They discuss what to expect from the teams this season. We discover that Al sounds like the lead singer of The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan. C-Lo returns for another update. He starts with the Rangers win and then tells us all about the Mets loss and the Yankees win. CLo also has sound from Gabe Kapler, Sean Marks and Kyrie Irving.
