According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, three major teams seem to have shifted their attention away from Shohei Ohtani, and indication that they have perhaps been told they're out of the running. Per Passan, the Mets, Red Sox, and Rangers are seemingly out on Ohtani. Those are three teams that were legitimate threats to land the megastar, which only increases the SF Giants' odds of landing Ohtani. Passan adds that the Dodgers, Cubs, Blue Jays, and Angels are known to still be in the running for Ohtani, and that the San Francisco Giants' status is "unknown." Per reports, Ohtani wants things kept as quiet as possible, so that's not necessarily a bad position for the Giants to be in. The Winter Meetings kick off in Nashville on Sunday. What's on the Giants' agenda on the offseason's biggest stage? Landing a superstar should be priority No. 1. Ohtani certainly would suffice. Yoshinobu Yamamoto reportedly won't meet with finalists until the week after the Winter Meetings, so don't expect his signing to go down in Nashville. The SF Giants would be wise, though, to improve their team to prove to Ohtani that they'd be in a position to win with him. It doesn't help that Korean star Jung Hoo Lee has yet to be posted, as he profiles as a strong fit for the Giants. Cody Bellinger is another who seems to fit well. Finally, Gabe Kapler landed on his feet. We learned today that the Giants' fired manager was hired as Assistant General Manager of the Miami Marlins under new President of Baseball Operations Peter Bendix, who was hired away from his position as General Manager of the Rays just weeks ago. Kapler joins several of his Giants coaches in landing on his feet after not being retained by the Giants. Kai Correa, Craig Albernaz, Andrew Bailey, Brian Bannister, Ethan Katz, and Donnie Ecker are among Kapler's initial staff with the Giants that now have prominent roles with other organizations. The San Francisco Giants finally announced their new coaching staff under new manager Bob Melvin tonight. At least most of it, anyway. The big ticket additions: Ryan Christenson will be Melvin's bench coach, leaving former bench coach and interim manager Kai Correa's status in question. Matt Williams returns to the Giants and will be the third base coach, which pushes Mark Hallberg from third base to first base. This leaves Antoan Richardson's status in question. And finally, Pat "The Bat" Burrell joins the SF Giants' staff as co-hitting coach with Justin Viele. Viele's retention comes as somewhat of a surprise after two straight lackluster offensive seasons from the Giants under his leadership, ever since Donnie Ecker departed for the Texas Rangers. Pedro Guererro also returns as an assistant hitting coach. On the pitching side, things are far less certain. Director of Pitching Brian Bannister has already departed for the White Sox. Pitching coach Andrew Bailey's status is uncertain. All we know is that J.P. Martinez will return as an assistant pitching coach. What about important holdovers from Gabe Kapler's staff like Alyssa Nakken? Fortunately, Nakken will return for her fifth season as an Assistant Coach with the Giants. She been a popular figure in the dugout since her arrival, and she will forever be the first in-uniform female coach in MLB history. Taira Uematsu will also return as an Assistant Coach. Sadly, popular coach Craig Albernaz officially left the organization to join new Guardians manager Stephen Vogt's first-ever staff. Once we heard that the San Diego Padres gave the Giants permission to speak with Bob Melvin, we knew it was just a matter of days before Melvin was signed and announced as the 39th manager in franchise history. That was made official this morning with an introductory press conference. What a strange turn of events. On July 18, the Giants were 1.5 games back of the Dodgers for the NL West, and had a firm grip on the #1 wild card seed. A few months later, not only is Gabe Kapler fired, but the manager of the All-star-studded Padres bailed ship with a year left on his contract for the Giants. Sounds similar to another ex-catcher and Padres manager that came north, eh? Chad and Eric review the positives and the challenges of the Melvin signing, and the fact that Farhan Zaidi was extended through 2026. Also, Bruce Bochy did it again! After winning Game 7 of the ALCS against another former Giants manager in Dusty Baker, he is now 6-0 in winner-take-all games, and it was his 13th managerial victory in an elimination game. Of course, 6 of those came in the 2012 postseason alone! We preview the matchup between Bochy's Rangers and the speedy, 84-win Diamondbacks, who edged out Philly in 7 games. So much to talk about!@torturecastfacebook.com/torturecasttorturecast.com

Bob Melvin is officially the San Francisco Giants' manager. Melvin got out of the last year of his contract with the Padres, and agreed to a new three-year deal as manager of the Giants. Bob Melvin seems to be the right person at the right time for this Giants organization that's in need of stability and credibility after four polarizing years under former manager Gabe Kapler. Melvin brings instant credibility and strong local ties to the role and is widely regarded as one of the best managers in the game today. Of note, Melvin was signed by the SF Giants through 2026, so officially that's a two-year extension on top of the one year he had left with San Diego. Even more noteworthy is the fact that Giants president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi was also said to have been extended through 2026. Zaidi would have otherwise been entering the last year of his contract, a dark cloud that would have hung over the 2024 season. Organizational stability is underrated, and despite his faults, Zaidi has arguably been a net asset to the Giants since arriving in the 2018 offseason. Where do the Giants go from here? The next step is to finalize the coaching staff, which Zaidi said should be done in the next 7-10 days. It's unclear which coaches from Kapler's staff will remain, and it's unclear which new coaches will be brought in. Then, the hard work starts. The Giants have work to do to make their on-field product better and more entertaining. But hiring Bob Melvin and extending him through 2026, along with Farhan Zaidi, feels like the absolute right first step for this Giants team this offseason. After the San Francisco Giants fired manager Gabe Kapler with three games left in the 2023 season, Padres manager Bob Melvin's name immediately came to many peoples' minds as a potential replacement. There was skepticism by some; after all, Melvin had just led the Padres to one of the most disappointing and underachieving seasons in MLB history. Why should he manage the SF Giants? Turns out there are more reasons than can even be counted. Melvin is a Bay Area native and has had a long, successful managerial career, including over a decade across the Bay. He would bring instant credibility where it matters most: among players and fans alike. He has reportedly developed great relationships with Asian-born players like Ichiro Suzuki, Yu Darvish, and Ha-Seong Kim, with the latter two being major potential influences on the ultimate destination of prized players Yoshinobu Yamamoto (out of Japan) and Jung-hoo Lee (out of Korea), who will be posted this offseason. The one potential concern has to do with the coaching staff. For all of Kapler's faults, he did bring in some of the best in the business, most of whom were relative unknowns at the time. Donnie Ecker has since departed for the Texas Rangers (and is himself a potential frontrunner for the Giants' managerial opening), but he is thought to be a hitting genius. Brian Bannister and Andrew Bailey have been very successful in helping the Giants get the most out of pitchers during their tenures. It remains to be seen, however, what type of coaching staff Melvin would seek to put together. Find and follow Locked On Giants on your favorite podcast platforms:

When all was said and done, the San Francisco Giants' season was a major disappointment. Things went so poorly in the end that Giants manager Gabe Kapler was fired. But for much of the season, the SF Giants were actually among the best stories in the sport, and often had one of the best records in the NL. The top moments from 2023 are relived on today's Locked On Giants. Kyle Harrison put on a show in his Giants home debut, striking out 11 Reds and showing his ace potential. Another rookie, Patrick Bailey, was often a human highlight reel, particularly on defense, but also his home run that prompted the famous "somebody named Patrick Bailey" quote. Logan Webb and Alex Cobb each had spectacular pitching performances that rank among the season's best moments, including Cobb coming one out shy of a no-hitter, and Webb throwing two complete games on his way to leading the majors in innings pitched. The rest of the best include highlights from the Giants' 10-game winning streak, from a circus play in LA, to a 15-0 route, to a couple of dramatic Mike Yastrzemski homers that were all part of the win streak. Blake Sabol also provided one of the season's best moments for the SF Giants when he hit a walk-off home run in April with the Giants down to their final strike. It's hard to be a San Francisco Giants fan this postseason. On the American League side, former Giants manager Bruce Bochy has his Texas Rangers up 2-0 in the ALCS while the SF Giants sit at home after recently firing manager Gabe Kapler. On the National League side, Bryce Harper, whom the Giants tried to sign in 2018-19, is carrying the Phillies much like he did last October. How much of the Rangers' success is attributable to Bochy is up for debate, but there's no doubt it's a bad look for the SF Giants, from ownership to Farhan Zaidi and the front office. Harper's influence is more clear and obvious, unlike the role of an MLB manager. Harper is simply a superstar player who impacts the game on the field. But beyond that, he seems to have elevated the whole organization, made other star players want to play for his team, and he has elevated his teammates. The San Francisco Giants must surely regret not offering more to Harper, although their final offer did come close. The Giants need their own identity. It's not healthy or helpful to look back on the past and feel full of regret. Bochy's not coming back to the SF Giants. Harper's going to be with the Phillies for life. So how do the Giants press forward? First, Zaidi and the Giants must nail the managerial hire. Next, they must have a much better offseason than last year—much, much better. The Giants need their own players to build around, and a manager who hones in the analytics at an extent while being much more capable than Kapler was at garnering support from fans and players alike. Losing Donnie Ecker may have been one of the most significant moments in recent San Francisco Giants history. Ecker was hired as part of the Giants' large new coaching staff under then-new manager Gabe Kapler entering the 2020 season. Ecker was part of a three-person hitting group, that included Justin Viele and Dustin Lind. Those two remain in the organization, but Ecker left for the Texas Rangers after the Giants shocked with world with a 107-win season in 2021. Now that Kapler has been fired and the SF Giants are searching for a new manager, The San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports that Ecker is "expected to be among the potential front-runners" for the Giants' managerial opening. It makes all the sense in the world, as it appears now with two years of hindsight that Ecker had a tremendously positive impact on the SF Giants' offense. Bringing him back as manager would be the only way to offer him a promotion, which the Rangers are supposed to support even if he remains under contract in Texas. In other news, SF Giants General Manager Pete Putila was spotted in South Korea scouting Jung-Hoo Lee, a center fielder who's going to be posted and available for MLB teams to sign this offseason. Giants president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi recently told NBC Sprots Bay Area's Alex Pavlovic that the SF Giants have interest in Lee and Japanese ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto, but there figures to be heavy competition for both. The San Francisco Giants fell flat after their 107-win 2021 season with an 81-81 record in 2022. Hoping to prove '22 was just an anomaly, the Giants were actually even worse in 2023, finishing with a 79-83 record. The SF Giants' failures resulted in manager Gabe Kapler being fired. President of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi is firmly on the hot seat. So what does the offseason have in store for this team that's in such an unstable position? The Giants' biggest need is simply to have more impact position players. The problem is this is a weak free agent market in that respect. Outfield defense has also been mentioned as a need for the SF Giants by Zaidi, and top-end starting pitching could also be categorized as a need. A rotation of Logan Webb, Alex Cobb, and Kyle Harrison paired with youngsters like Tristan Beck and Keaton Winn plus an impact starter at the top would really start to look like one of the best in the league. Gabe Kapler was fired a week ago today, and the San Francisco Giants have begun the process of looking for a new manager. But is Giants President of Baseball Operations Farhan Zaidi's expiring contract a potential problem? Will a new SF Giants manager want to walk into such an unstable situation, knowing that Zaidi could be fired at the end of 2024 if things don't work out—again—as was the case in 2022 and 2023? Speaking of which, should Zaidi be fired if the Giants fail to make the playoffs next year? There's certainly a strong argument to be made that he should. Other questions that are asked and answered on today's mailbag edition of Locked On Giants include, among others: What does a trade package for Juan Soto look like? Will the assumption that there's no chance to extend him (because he's a Scott Boras client) keep the cost down? Which prospects would you keep off the table in a trade? With regular playing time as opposed to platooning, would the 2023 Giants have been more successful? It seems to me that routine and regularity make people better at things. I don't think Michael Conforto and Mitch Haniger having the worst years of their careers is a coincidence. Now that the Giants are getting a new manager, do you think that firing Kapler will benefit or hurt the teams chances in 2024? Will a change in direction improve the team or will there be some growing pains? What will happen to the 2023 coaching staff now that Kapler is gone? How many could stay on and do you think they'll have as many coaches under a new manager? Find and follow Locked On Giants on your favorite podcast platforms:

The San Francisco Giants have a managerial vacancy. That is a white-hot topic after the team fired Gabe Kapler late last week. The Giants' managerial search will dominate local headlines in the month of October, as it should. And one name that comes up time and time again is Ron Wotus. Wotus is beloved, respected, loyal, and a Giant through and through. But there is a large philosophical gap between him and Farhan Zaidi. A gap that may be too wide to bridge. In 2019, Bruce Bochy and Zaidi were each surprised by how well they were able to work with each other. But Zaidi also interviewed Wotus for the SF Giants' managerial opening in 2019 after Bochy "retired" and Wotus didn't even make it to the round of finalists. Many fans likely believe that the next Giants manager should be far away philosophically from Zaidi, but it's just hard to imagine that it turns out that way with Zaidi leading the hiring process. During his session with reporters the other day, Zaidi made it clear that some on the SF Giants' board of directors, including Greg Johnson, Larry Baer, and Buster Posey, will only meet with candidates once the list has been narrowed down. So Zaidi will lead the way, and it's hard to imagine Wotus is his choice when there are others who aren't as extreme as Kapler available. Stephen Vogt and Pat Burrell have been discussed on the show as options. Find and follow Locked On Giants on your favorite podcast platforms:

The Mets are looking like a disaster right now. The Manager was fired and there are rumors of Pete Alonso going to the Cubs. And now we hear that Billy Eppler is the one who forced Buck Showalter to play Daniel Vogelbach. And Pete Alonso just hired Scott Boras to represent him. Is Daniel Stearns going to be our ‘little nerd to bring us to the promised land?' Gio would love Gabe Kapler to be the Mets manager. We also talked about Evan Neal going after the Giants fans. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Mike McDaniel talking about the Giants allowing 11 sacks last week. Marshawn Lynch was on the Shannon Sharpe podcast and talked about the Pete Carroll/Russell Wilson relationship. He also talked about not having any sort of relationship with Russell. He also said Carroll told the team not to talk directly to Russell. We then talked about Imus having a loaded gun on him at all times. Chris Carlin got beat down by Imus and Mike and the Maddog. In the final segment of the hour, Gerrit Cole said he and Aaron Judge will have input on the Yankees going forward.

Hour 1 NY Giants' Evan Neal had to apologize for going after the fans who were booing him. Gio found it interesting that every talk show host out there attacked Neal for his comments, meanwhile hosts attack players all the time. And Evan Neal is only 23 years old. He hasn't been here for all of the terrible head coaches the Giants have had. The fans get right in the face of these players as they are coming off the field. Gio thinks it is insane how we are treating Evan Neal after his comments. Some have called him a ‘human piece of garbage'. They are acting like he physically assaulted a Giants fan. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer tells us today is Travis Kelce's 34th birthday. We talked about how overblown the Brian Daboll tablet stuff has become. Rob Saleh is long past the Sean Peyton comments on Nathaniel Hackett. Joe Burrow talked about the importance of getting a road win on Sunday. Jerry went around the MLB from yesterday. In the final segment of the hour, we continued to talk about NFL power couples and Eddie keeps playing Francesa drops.  Hour 2 Gio could have sworn he heard Cam Newton talking about having a small hammer. He was correct. We played the clip. The Jets have got to win this game. The Denver defense is not great and Russell Wilson is not a QB in his prime. Gio thinks if Zach Wilson plays 70% as good as last week they can win. Boomer said he cannot turn the ball over. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Brian Daboll talking about playing against Tua this weekend in Miami. Mike McDaniel is concerned with Dexter Lawrence on the Giants. Rob Saleh wants consistency in officiating. The Kelce brothers talked about the NFL coverage of Taylor Swift. Travis said the NFL is overdoing it. Stephen A. Smith was reviewing the women on The Golden Bachelor. Jerry went around the MLB playoffs from yesterday. Craig Counsell is now available for the Mets if they want him. Boomer said the Rangers cannot keep up with the Devils. Their speed is much faster than the Rangers. In the final segment of the hour, Peter Schwartz was let go from his part time job at Fox News Headlines on the radio. The last time he was with us he said, ‘stop with the lies, this isn't Fox News'.  Hour 3 The Mets are looking like a disaster right now. Hour 4 It seems like there are a lot more violent fights going on in the stands at NFL games these days. Will the NFL remain silent on this? Why are the security guards always old people that can't physically break up fights? Jerry returns for an update but first we talked about the Utah football team getting trucks. That led to college players getting paid talk. Joe Burrow talked about the importance of getting a win on the road against the Cardinals this week. The Phillies beat the Marlins and the ballpark was pumped up after the grand slam. The Moment of The Day involves taking a flight to Pound Town USA. In the final segment of the show a caller says Boomer is too soft these days. Aly our makeup artist got a flat tire and it took 5 hours to get help.

Voting Vogt: Why Stephen Vogt should be next SF Giants manager

I believe in Stephen Vogt! I believe in Stephen Vogt! It's a chant that Bay Area fans are very familiar with, a ringing endorsement of the ultra-popular former A's and Giants catcher. The San Francisco Giants have a managerial opening after they fired Gabe Kapler, and Vogt may just be the perfect fit to replace him. Vogt grew up a huge Giants fan. His favorite players were Will Clark and Barry Bonds. Perhaps most importantly, Vogt possesses personality traits that are somewhat the polar opposite of Kapler's. Kapler had a way of making people feel uneasy in his presence. The Athletic's Andrew Baggarly even reported yesterday that agents described face-to-face meetings with Zaidi and Kapler as sometimes awkward, tense, and uneasy. Zaidi is a pretty affable guy though. So this was likely 95% Kapler, and that was a problem. Zaidi has stressed that the next SF Giants manager should be an effective recruiter, and very few are as well-liked and respected in the game as Vogt. He also has explicitly stated that he wants to be an MLB manager. Vogt just finished a season as Mariners bullpen and quality control coach. The downside of potentially hiring him to manage the SF Giants stems solely from his lack of managerial experience. Otherwise he's a pretty perfect fit on paper. Switching gears, Zaidi's comments about the Giants' outfield defense being an area they'd like to upgrade are discussed. Indeed, the Giants were not good defensively in the outfield, but were among the game's best in the infield, largely thanks to a sensational defensive season from Thairo Estrada. Jerry returns for his final update of the morning Jerry tells us the Yankees are going on field trips to see how other companies work and do business. Jerry could be wrong. Jerry went around the MLB playoffs yesterday. Zack Wheeler pitched well for the Phillies. Gio wants a shirtless Gabe Kapler to manage the Mets. Hour 1 Aaron Rodgers was on with Pat McAfee and thinks he's coming back to play this year. Even if he could, under what circumstances would the Jets do that? If Zach Wilson is playing well, why replace him? If he's doing terrible, why not get a high draft pick? There is only one scenario where putting Rodgers back in makes sense, and we discuss. Boomer said Rodgers needs to go to the Denver game for Zach. Gio said needing Rodgers to be there for the Jets to play well is an indictment on Rob Saleh. We also talked about the Giants and how Brian Daboll said he is always fired up with energy he just needs to get Daniel Jones in that state of mind. Jerry is here for his first update but first we talked about Roger Clemens and OJ Simpson on Twitter. Jerry has audio clips of Aaron Rodgers on with Pat McAfee. He said he talks to Zach Wilson every day. He also called Travis Kelce, ‘Mr Pfizer' and told us why he thinks he'll be able to play this season. Brian Daboll talked about the ‘tush push' and why it didn't work. Zack Wheeler pitched great in Philly last night. And the Twins finally won a playoff game after 18 tries. In the final segment of the hour, the Steelers offensive coordinator, Matt Canada, is in the crosshairs. The fans were chanting for his firing. It seems he created a burner account on Twitter to defend himself.  Hour 2 We have a very big Boomer & Gio Show announcement on Tuesday at 8am. Gio has been enjoying the comedy stylings of Shane Gillis. Gio thinks everybody carries their phone in their front pocket. Andrea the sports astrologist calls in to give an update on Aaron Rodgers. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from Rodgers on with Pat McAfee and was not thrilled that details of what he said to the team got leaked. Rodgers is putting things into the manifestation zeitgeist, whatever that means. Seahawks Devon Witherspoon said they knew Daniel Jones likes to stare down his first target. Jerry Jones said the 49'ers are the most likely team to win the Super Bowl. Chris Russo doesn't like seeing Taylor Swift at football games since she probably doesn't know who Phil Simms is. In the final segment of the hour we talked about Trevor Bauer releasing a video where he explains his side of the story with texts and videos from his accuser.  Hour 3 We talked more about the Trevor Bauer video that he released explaining his side of the story. Everybody assumed Bauer was guilty but the text messages and evidence suggests otherwise. The case was settled with no money exchanging hands. A caller wonders if Bauer could sue MLB. Jerry returns for an update but first Gio wants to get Jordan Davis to come in and hang out on the show, but now Gio has to go through his people. Jerry put together a production piece with Aaron Rodgers and John Lennon. Rodgers thinks he can come back this season because of his holistic approach. Jerry took us around the MLB playoffs from yesterday including Zack   Wheeler's performance. We also talked about Steve Cohen's appearance at the press conference. He looked disheveled. In the final segment of the hour, the Giants are walking into a ‘buzzsaw spot' with the Dolphins coming off a loss. Boomer said the Dolphins are like a relay team with their speed. If the Giants can't put up 24 points against the Dolphins then they have even bigger problems than we think.  Hour 4 Daniel Jones became Zach Wilson this week. A few players sort of called him out this week. We also took calls on what the Giants need to do this week to stay competitive against the Dolphins. We also took more calls on the Trevor Bauer situation. Hour 1 The Jets lost to the Chiefs last night 23-20 but Zach Wilson looked like an NFL quarterback. Boomer said this is what the Jets have been seeing in practice. Zach did have a crucial fumble and he blamed himself for the loss after the game. There was a terrible holding call on Sauce Gardner that should not have been a penalty. Boomer was shocked by the amount of Chiefs fans in the building. The Jets travel to Denver next week in a game they can win. Gio thought it was key how Zach Wilson didn't quit down 17-0. Patrick MAHOMES was terrible last night and looked like Josh Allen in the Jets week 1 win. Gio thinks the Jets season changed last night after Zach's performance. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with the Zach Wilson fumble. Rob Saleh talked about Zach's performance. Sauce Gardner talked about the penalty called on him and when they decided to throw the flag. Jerry went around the NFL from yesterday afternoon. What is going on with the Bengals and Joe Burrow? Baker Mayfield is off to a better start as a Buc than Tom Brady was. Buck SHOWALTER was fired by the Mets. Gio thought they did him dirty with the way they let him go. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer introduces the ‘Man Bucket'.  Hour 2 Zach Wilson definitely played much better but did have a crucial fumble in the game. They play in Denver next week and they have to win that one if they are going to have a real season. Zach did bring them back down 17-0. Aaron RODGERS said he is go ing to play this season. Do you really want him back this year? Boomer wants him back next year when he's 100% healthy. NBC was giving Taylor Swift free commercials for her concert movie. We also previewed the Giants/Seahawks game for tonight. In the final segment of the hour, Gio was at West Point for a charity golf tournament for Army baseball. It was also a bizarre weekend at the Ryder Cup.  Hour 3 Zach Wilson outplayed Patrick MAHOMES in every category and the Jets still lost. It was a ‘statement game spot' according to Gio.  Hour 4 The Giants finally play again tonight and if they lose it is going to be the fault of the defense. Gio expects Daniel Jones to have huge numbers tonight. Both QBs should be able to move the ball up and down the field. The Giants don't have much of a pass rusher and have a young secondary. That's not a great combo. Could the Giants beat the Niners or Cowboys in the playoffs? And that right there is the problem. This is going to be a high scoring and close game in the fourth quarter. The Giants have to win this game because of their schedule after this. Imagine the Dolphins offense against this Giants defense? Joe Benigno behaved himself except for one time when he yelled ‘the Jets suck' from the Winters Brothers seats. Jerry returns for his final update of the day but first Gio said Sayville beat East Islip so Boomer owes him a dinner at Tellers. Rob Saleh talked about Zach Wilson's performance. Zach was very hard on himself after the game for the fumbled snap. Sauce Gardner talked about the crap holding call the refs nailed him for. Bill Belichick talked about taking Mac Jones out. Daniel Jones talked about the urgency for tonight's game. Darius Slayton is not calling it a must win. Phil Simms was at Dick's badmouthing Boomer for making fun of his lady glasses. Buck SHOWALTER was let go by the Mets but the fans and players showed their appreciation on the field. Aaron Judge talked about the team not playing with urgency. Former MLB pitcher Tim Wakefield passed away from an aggressive form of cancer. Boomer played golf with him in June. The Moment of The Day involves a Rams player with a very hard name to pronounce. In the final segment of the hour, Zach Wilson played really well except for the fumble and Boomer is sure it kept him up all night. Hopefully that didn't hurt his confidence as he made a lot of really good throws.
