We discuss this transformation after brain injury. How with zero mathematical background he found himself reinventing calculus. A tragic stagecoach accident left him with such awful brain trauma he was bleeding from the ears. From that he became a world famous photographer, inventor...and murderer. We fast forward in time where Britt tells the story of Jason Padgett, a karaoke loving beefcake who was tragically mugged in the streets of Tacoma, WA. The brain trauma caused from this encounter left Jason with the ability to visually see mathematics in intricate fractal forms. Britt then shares a little about the Sudden Savant where these gifts appear in individuals instantaneously without any prior brain trauma.
