“Am I going to be okay?” Getting a tarot reading is a personalized way to get to your baseline. This one got a little heavy on the inuendos, sorry?    I'm done. No more descriptions. From now on, I'll just write about interesting facts in history. Did you know Nordic Runes have more meaning than just being a letter? Each individual "letter" also has profound spiritual, emotional, and social meaning. The rune making the "S" sound in Elder Futhark, for example, also means sun or victory. Over time, especially after the Viking age, the language used by Danes, Swedes, and Norwegians diverged from each other due to outside cultural and religious influences, with runes dying out almost entirely, except in Sweden, where they were used until the 1800s! It's a bleak card of heartbreak and emotion; many of us hate seeing this card and giving the hard news to clients. Like The Tower card, this card is striking. It's one of the most emotional cards in a suit that lends itself to air, communication, and braininess. Homework: Uncertainty is hard, and the sword's resources lead to good communication. As a nice wrap-up to our deep dive into the Aces, we give some practical ways to use the Aces in your magic. Hilary starts by giving ideas for specific focuses using these cards like new beginnings spells. Jaymi uses cards in her magic. She lays out the cards at her altar according to her identifiers and directions. Welcome back to the cards. Hilary, Lis, and Jaymi kick off the minors. We see the minors as the day-to-day nitty-gritty items of our lives. These cards are broken down into two aspects: the numbered cards and the court cards. There are four suits to the 56 cards. Each one has its association with an element that relates to one of the four elements: air (swords), fire (wands), cups (water), and earth (pentacles/discs/coins). We're going to reveal the numbers as a whole. So you'll get four episodes detailing the aces, the twos, etc., and then we'll give a wrap-up. We'll begin with the Ace of Wands starting next month!
