Does anyone look forward to a review? NOT ME!? What kind of review did this church get and how were they challenged?
Are Christians required to love everyone equally? This question has recently become a matter of public and even political debate. So how should we answer? It seems necessary to ask what “loving thy neighbor” means in practice; for example is the love between friends, the love between spouses, the love within a family, the love among compatriots, and even the love of an enemy all the same kind of love? Do these relationships all entail the same kinds of moral responsibilities? Might it be reasonable to say, for example, that we have a greater obligation to care for our own children over others' children, our own friends over strangers, and our own country over other countries? If so, however, how can Christians coherently claim that we love all people equally? A listener asks how to forgive and let go of bitterness. There is nothing quite so wonderful as hearing great master of Non-Duality talk about God! After all, for far too long The Path of Devotion (Bhakti) has been considered as categorically distinct from The Path of Philosophy (Jñāna). For instance, the common view is that devotion tends to favor duality while philosophy favors non-duality; devotion prefers to think of God in a personal sense, with form whereas philosophy tends towards the impersonal, formless God which is the Self, Pure Consciousness which is more of a principle than a person. However, in this stunning presentation, Vivekananda not only reconciles the two paths but also shows how the devotion of God with form can lead to the non-dual ideal of universal love, i.e the ability to see the Divine in everyone and everything and more importantly, the ability to love everyone and everything like the Buddha did! This is perhaps one of my favorite ideas in the entire world of devotional literature!Lectures happen live every Monday at 7pm PST and Friday 10am PST and again Friday at 6pm PST.Use this link and I will see you there:https://www.zoom.us/j/7028380815For more videos, guided meditations and instruction and for access to our lecture library, visit me at:https://www.patreon.com/yogawithnishTo get in on the discussion and access various spiritual materials, join our Discord here: https://discord.gg/U8zKP8yMrMSupport the show

can we truly reach out to those different from us? Jesus' resurrection changed everything, showing that God's love extends to all people. This series on the Book of Acts explores how the early church embraced this mission, despite challenges and cultural barriers. Discover the stories of key figures like Stephen, Philip, Paul, and Peter, and learn how their experiences can inspire us today. Whether it's understanding the courage needed to bridge divides or seeing the importance of inclusivity, these lessons are crucial for us at Flatirons. Join us as we learn to be a church that reaches out beyond our boundaries, just as Jesus intended.
So.... this was interesting. #Christianity #LDS #PewResearch --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/wardradio/support
Does God's love have limits? Does God love me? Thankfully, we cannot cross a line that changes these answers. It is not our worth, but God's grace, that determines our lovability. God created everyone. We are built for a relationship with our creator. What God creates, God loves...and what God loves, he loves forever. #GodIsLove #messiahyl

If we are saved, there is nothing we can do to convince God to love us more or less. The redeemed are loved with the same love as Jesus. Pastor Lutzer ponders the implications for believers because of God's unconditional love. Is such a love fair?
