Interview by Angela CroudaceGerman power metal veterans StormHammer are embracing a heavier, more aggressive direction on their upcoming album Wrath of the Hammer, due for release on July 17, while still staying true to their melodic foundations.Bassist Horst Tessmann revealed the album marks a deliberate shift back towards the sound of Welcome to the End after the more melodic approach of Seven Seals. Following years of lineup changes and delays, he said the band is finally where they want to be creatively."The title track represents the new album and the style of the band quite well," Horst explained, describing it as the perfect introduction to StormHammer's evolved sound.Rather than drawing from any single influence, Horst credited guitarists Phil and Christos for naturally blending classic heavy metal, thrash, progressive and punk elements into the songwriting. He also praised producer Alexander Krull, whose experience as a vocalist helped push singer Manuel into delivering more emotionally charged performances.Although Australian fans may have to wait for a live appearance due to touring costs, Horst said StormHammer hopes strong support for Wrath of the Hammer could eventually make it happen, but the band are already looking ahead, with work on their next album underway and a planned release targeted for autumn 2027.Check out the full interview for more.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/heavy-music-interviews--2687660/support.
Revelation Ep 4: Seven Seals - Wars and Much More In this episode we continue our journey through the Seven Seals of Revelation, taking a closer look at the first four horsemen and considering how they relate to the unfolding events of history. We explore the White Horse as a picture of Christ preparing His Bride, the Red Horse and the growing loss of peace among the nations, and the contrast between the sword of human conflict and the sword of God's truth that brings light, discernment and transformation. The episode also revisits Ezekiel 38, discussing Gog and Magog and why this remarkable prophecy may still point to a future fulfilment, while reflecting on how it fits within the wider biblical story. Finally, we consider the Black Horse and the Pale Horse in the context of economic uncertainty, war, disease and global instability, before finishing with the encouragement of Psalm 91. Throughout the discussion, the emphasis remains on hope rather than fear, inviting us to cultivate discernment, confidence in God's faithfulness, and a deeper awareness of His presence as we anticipate Christ's return together as a church family.
Podcast Summary: Revelation – The Heavenly Prelude and the Opening of the Seven Seals This episode introduces the opening of the seven seals in the Book of Revelation, beginning with the heavenly throne-room vision of Revelation 4. Before any judgments unfold on earth, John is taken into heaven where he sees God's throne, surrounded by worship, twenty-four elders, and four living creatures. This scene establishes God's absolute sovereignty over everything that follows. The speaker presents the view that John's heavenly guide is Enoch, based on references in Jude and Revelation, and argues that Revelation from chapter 4 onward describes events that occur after John's lifetime, supporting a futurist interpretation of the book. The twenty-four elders are understood to represent God's covenant leadership—twelve leaders of Israel and the twelve apostles. The four living creatures symbolise key aspects of Christ's ministry: Lion – Christ the conquering King. Ox – Christ the humble Servant. Man – Christ's compassionate humanity. Eagle – Christ's heavenly perspective and exaltation. Revelation 5 introduces the sealed scroll, containing God's end-time purposes. Only Christ can open its seven seals. Each seal, once opened, remains active until Christ's return, progressively unfolding God's redemptive judgments upon the earth. The speaker gives an overview of the seven seals: First Seal – White Horse: Represents the victorious Church, beginning with the Reformation in 1517, restoring the truths of faith and grace and progressively preparing the Bride of Christ. Second Seal – Red Horse: Represents war and the removal of peace from the earth, beginning with the world wars and continuing until Armageddon. Third Seal – Black Horse: Symbolises economic hardship, inflation, and famine. Fourth Seal – Pale Horse: Brings widespread death through war, disease, pestilence, and societal collapse. Fifth Seal: The cry of the martyrs for justice. Sixth Seal: Cosmic disturbances and worldwide upheaval. Seventh Seal: Opens the seven trumpet judgments. The episode also connects Revelation with Daniel 12, where the prophetic book is sealed until “the time of the end,” identified by unprecedented global travel and a dramatic increase in knowledge. The speaker suggests today's world—particularly the rise of artificial intelligence—fits this description and highlights the moral responsibility to use knowledge wisely. Isaiah 29 is presented as another prophecy of a sealed book, linking Israel's present spiritual blindness with future restoration under the New Covenant. The discussion emphasizes that the final events of Revelation will profoundly affect three groups: The Church, through testing and purification. Israel, through judgment and eventual restoration. The kingdom of the Beast, through God's final judgments. The episode concludes by focusing on the hopeful message of the White Horse. Rather than symbolising deception, it is presented as Christ leading His Church through progressive restoration toward becoming the spotless Bride described in Revelation 19. Despite increasing global conflict, God is preparing a triumphant Church that will finish its race in victory before Christ's return.

Reading Revelation again has definitely shifted my focus. In part 2, we encounter the opening of the seals and the sounding of the seven trumpets by seven angels. Do you see how much God loves the number seven? As you listen, if you find yourself becoming fearful, remind yourself that God does not give us a spirit of fear... but of power and love and self-discipline. The devil wants us to be afraid when we read Revelation. God wants us to be prepared. He is laying it out for us. Once again, I pray that we are ready. **I know these are heavy episodes. Why is the world how it is today? If Jesus is the Lord of heaven and earth, then why is his world still such a mess? It can't be that he is uncaring or unaware. So why does God delay his judgment? To save a great multitude of people from every nation, tribe, people, and language. Read more...

If you belong to Christ you won't be here for either the divine judgments of Revelation 6, or the genocidal rage of the Antichrist. The Bible is the most important book on Earth, but there is another book not on the Earth. John witnessed a scene of high drama in Heaven. He saw a scroll. And this scroll must be opened for the sake of God's plan, and justice, and the future of humanity. But no created being could open it. All of us were unworthy. Here's Jim in Revelation 5. www.patreon.com/theconspiracypodcastIn 1993, on a patch of quiet Texas land outside Waco, a man who called himself the final prophet of God was preparing for the end of the world. Before the fire. Before the tanks. Before the siege became a symbol.David Koresh — born Vernon Wayne Howell — rose from obscurity to lead a small apocalyptic sect known as the Branch Davidians. Charismatic, intense, and obsessed with the Book of Revelation, Koresh convinced his followers that he alone could unlock the Seven Seals and usher in the final days. Inside the Mount Carmel compound, he claimed divine authority — not just spiritually, but personally. He took “spiritual wives.” Married couples were separated. Teenage girls were reassigned to him under the belief they were helping fulfill prophecy. Former members would later allege sexual relationships with underage girls, all justified through scripture. Parents inside the group believed they were obeying God.Meanwhile, federal agents were watching. An ATF investigation into alleged illegal weapons modifications was building. An undercover agent infiltrated the compound. A newspaper exposé titled “The Sinful Messiah” hit the stands. And on February 28, 1993, 76 federal agents rolled toward Mount Carmel in cattle trailers, expecting to serve a warrant.Within minutes, gunfire erupted.Four ATF agents would be dead. Six Davidians would die that morning. And what was meant to be a single-day operation would spiral into something far larger. In Part One, we lay the groundwork — the rise of Koresh, the psychology inside the compound, the warnings that were ignored, and the raid that changed everything. The siege has only just begun.
What is really happening when the world feels chaotic, unjust, or out of control? In Revelation 6, the Lamb opens the seals of history and shows us that suffering is not random, prayers are not ignored, and justice will not be postponed forever. Join us this Sunday as we consider how the Lamb rules, the Lamb hears, and the Lamb will one day judge—and why that is good news for weary saints.

The book of Revelation is not a coded timetable, nor a speculative map of the end-times. It is a letter written by the Apostle John to first-century Christians living in Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). It aims to bring encouragement and hope to disciples of Jesus living in turbulent times. As G.K. Beale puts it, “Revelation is the Bible's battle cry of victory.” Through dramatic symbols drawn from the Old Testament, Revelation equips the church with the heavenly perspective needed to persevere in faith until the end. In this series, we will see:-Jesus rules from the throne.-The church is spiritually protected even as it suffers.-Evil is judged and defeated.-God's mission advances through the witness of His people.-The Lamb will return to renew creation and dwell with His people forever.Revelation calls the church not to fear, but to faithful endurance, confident that the Lamb is victorious and His victory is ours.

Bern asserts that the entirety of Revelation 4—including the throne of God, the circular, green rainbow representing the unending covenant, the sea of glass symbolizing the Word of God, the seven lamps as the Holy Spirit, the four living creatures reflecting Christ's attributes, and the 24 elders symbolizing the redeemed Church—is ultimately a picture of Jesus Christ. Transitioning to Revelation 5, the core foacus shifts to a seven-sealed scroll which is argued to represent the legal title deed to the earth, lost through Adam's sin and requiring a kinsman redeemer to recover. This kinsman is Jesus Christ, depicted as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah who is worthy to open the scroll by virtue of His atoning blood, initiating the redemption of the earth that also brings judgment upon the unredeemed.

BREAKING THE SEVEN SEALS | PROPHET SHEPHERD BUSHIRI
THE REVELATION OF THE SEVEN SEALS | PROPHET SHEPHERD BUSHIRI
The Seven Seals6 Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. 10 They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.12 When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. 14 The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. 15 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, 16 calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”
Before the scroll outlining God's plan could be opened, the seven seals had to be broken, outlining what must happen before the plan is consummated. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29
Revelations // 10-19-25
In this sermon by Chris Romig, the focus is on Revelation chapter 10 and the "bittersweetness" of God's Word and Christian life as God's final judgments and promises unfold. Romig opens with a prayer for understanding and emphasizes the structure of Revelation: waves of judgments (seals, trumpets, bowls) interrupted by reflective pauses, with chapter 10 marking the longest interlude before the end. Romig highlights the vision of a mighty angel with an open scroll, symbolizing God's ownership over creation and the imminent fulfillment of His plan—there will be "no more delay." The concept of "mystery" in Scripture is clarified as something that will soon be revealed, especially the good news of Christ's return and the final setting right of the world. John is told to eat the scroll, echoing Old Testament prophets, which Romig interprets as internalizing God's Word—letting it transform one's life. The scroll tastes sweet, representing the joy found in God's promises, but turns bitter, reflecting the sorrow and burden of judgment and the consequences of sin. Romig urges believers to embrace both the sweetness and the bitterness of faith: to enjoy God's grace while feeling a deeper compassion and concern for those far from God. He closes by encouraging Christians to let God's Word shape them into bold witnesses, living with urgency and hope as they await God's final restoration.
This week we are in Revelation 6-7 and begin our study of the "Great Tribulation". We look at each of the seals mentioned and unpack the theological questions that they bring.

In this sermon by Pastor Chris Romig, the focus is on praying for revival and understanding the coming judgment described in Revelation 8. Chris urges the church to earnestly seek God's intervention for personal and communal revival, trusting in God's power. He provides a recap of their ongoing study in Revelation, highlighting the escalating severity of God's judgments: the breaking of seals, and now the sounding of trumpets which bring wide destruction upon the earth, sea, fresh waters, and skies. Chris explains the strong biblical symbolism of trumpets as instruments of both warning and judgment. He references the parallels between the Revelation judgments and the plagues of Egypt, suggesting these events are literal and future, not just symbolic or historical. Importantly, Chris frames these judgments as a form of God's grace providing a final wake-up call for humanity to repent before it's too late. Despite these sobering warnings, Chris assures believers they do not need to fear. He draws comfort from the promise of the rapture: just as God spared His people in Exodus, He will deliver Christians from the worst of tribulations. Chris concludes with encouragement to urgently share the hope of the gospel and to rest in the assurance that God's judgments ultimately serve to set His people free and establish final justice.
Previous version of this episode was sped up. This should be better.Revelation starts heating up with the Four Horsemen, the Seven Seals, and the 144,000. There's probably more to say. Ian welcomes back author Ben Beard to discuss his latest, best, and most personal book, Four Horses, Seven Seals!Continuing his tradition of mixing autobiography with the pop culture that helped shape his life, Ben's latest work examines three bizarre totems from the year 1990: DC Comics' The Sandman, Depeche Mode's "Violator" album, and Adrian Lyne's film, Jacob's Ladder (which the guys review in moderate depth). While investigating the odd connections between these three works, Ben delves further into his own troubled journey to adulthood and falling out with religion. He also discovers cosmic coincidences involving the rise and fall of Elvis Presley's stepbrother, the Satanic Panic of the 1980s, and the twisted celestial visions of William Blake--all with the author's trademark blend of humor, horror, and relatability. In this wide-ranging interview, Ian and Ben talk about book's three main pillars; getting creative with chapter notes; the controversy surrounding Sandman author Neil Gaiman; and how 1990 presaged the next millennium's splintering of our collective consciousness!Four Horses, Seven Seals is now available on Amazon. Join us for a powerful message as we explore the Seven Seals from the Book of Revelation. What do these mysterious seals reveal about God's plan for judgment, redemption, and the end times? From the rider on the white horse to the cries of the martyrs and the coming Day of the Lord—each seal unveils a part of the prophetic vision given to John.
In this sermon by Pastor Chris Romig, the focus is on Revelation 6 and the opening of the first of seven seals, introducing the rider on the white horse. Chris explains the significance of the sealed scroll and emphasizes that only Jesus, the Lamb of God, has the authority to begin this end-time unveiling. He explores different interpretations of the rider's identity: some suggest the spread of the gospel or even Jesus himself, but Chris argues these don't fit the context or details. Instead, he suggests the rider is best understood as the Antichrist, a figure who will appear to bring peace but ultimately unleashes chaos, war, and destruction as described by the following horsemen. Drawing from related prophecies in Daniel and 2 Thessalonians, Chris explains the Antichrist's deceptive rise and the importance of spiritual discernment. Chris cautions against guessing which current leader might be the Antichrist, reminding believers that their focus should be on Jesus, not on fear or speculation. He reassures the congregation that Christians, empowered by the Holy Spirit, play a restraining role against evil and many believe they will be taken to be with Christ before the worst comes. The sermon concludes by urging listeners to place their hope not in earthly leaders or “knights on white horses,” but in Jesus Christ the true and victorious rider who alone brings hope, justice, and peace.
