We are in for a challenging week. How to best strategize, prepare and utilize the energy's play? This week is the Aquarius New Moon, the onset of the 2025 Chinese New Year. I will send out another forecast about the year for that New Moon — so far, it's been quite an opening of 2025 — hasn't it? January 27th has the moon in the sign of Capricorn, a pretty good day. Bear in mind, a good day in a challenging week. The new moon occurs on the 29th, EST. Monday in the dark of moon period has a serious tone about life and what we're doing here. Even with light-hearted activities, there's the capacity to deepen into spiritual perspective. The Indians have a term: Maya — the illusion of reality that we all create. Of course, mine is different than my husband's and is different than my siblings' — even though we share common experiences; the unfathomable wonder of unique perceptions.We create and see the world through our own lens. Part of the illusion that we all struggle with is how do we work towards common truth? It's quite a challenge, especially in today's world — where there's alternate truths. This has always been the case one could argue, but the difference between now and 30 years ago is that realities were not able to be manipulated in quite the same way as they are in our cyberworld. With this moon in Capricorn, it behooves us to look at what is your reality and why? There are benefits to question our worldview and our responsibility within it. On the 27th, we're invited energetically to reflect on how we view the world and if that's connected to the greater continuum and community. Are we living in a way that is in alignment to what or who we want to be spiritually? For those without a spiritual call, the emphasis is to expand and support the illusion, no matter what seems to threaten or deflate it. On Tuesday the 28th, inspiration may come to some of us in the morning with a sense of lightness, to feel more love and connection. The new moon occurs on the 29th at 7:36 a.m. ET at 9° Aquarius 51”, Chinese year of the Wood Snake. A 9 year (endings) plus the Snake… expect a lot of shedding this year. Use it to move past stuck energy. The next day, the 30th, Uranus goes direct —it pushes a lot of electric volatile energies in this brief time. This Cancer New Moon is a potent one. My simple advice is to choose happiness again and again this month and to ride the emotional waves to come with an optimistic point of view. Welcome to July! The month starts out with a Uranus, Mars, and Saturn having in out in a t-square. This causes a lot of tension between our ego, external obstacles, and accidents. This likely lead to a lot of frustration and anxiety. But the New Moon the second week of July gives us a break from the stress and set simple intentions. The end of the month brings clarity to issues brought to the surface mid month. Mars and Venus show up in the Leo to help you figure out your balance with giving and taking. Now is the time to nurture yourself and set simple, and maybe even small intentions around this Lunation. The moon is also trining with Jupiter and widely Neptune so there is a lot of hope around this time.  7.11.21 Mercury moves into Cancer: This completes the Mercury shadow period. Your mental focus may not be as clear. Use music and meditation to clear you mind.  7.12.21 Moon/Venus/Mars meet up in Leo at around 18 degrees. Mars is what you don't want, Venus is what you do want, and Moon is how you feel about it. This will require some give and take maybe even within yourself. Mars takes, Venus gives. Where is Leo in your chart? If it's in your first house you may need to look at how your tendency to give and takes affects your physical body. If Leo is in your 2nd house you may look at your relationship with giving and taking in your finances.  7.21.21 Venus moves into Virgo: 7.22.21 Sun moves into Leo: Today is a new day! The Sun is now in it's home sign of Leo, and Venus is in the practical earth sign of Virgo. You will likely feel very capable today and find yourself overcommitting to help the people around you. You may get a lot done but with no personal planets in air signs, you may act and do without thinking or communicating. Remember you don't have to fix everyone's problems and you may not always know best.  7.23.21 Full Moon in Aquarius This full moon conjuncts Saturn by 9 degrees. Happy Full Moon in Aquarius! Today may be an emotionally intense day. The moon starts out the day by forming an exact conjunction with Pluto. This can leave us feeling obsessive, depressed, isolated, and can lead to emotional outbursts. Plan to attend a full moon ceremony to help you release emotions that have been building up since Saturn has been in Aquarius. The energy created between these two planets with a sextile aspect is one that is very cooperative. This means that each of the planet's energies inspire and encourage each other instead of holding each other back. Because of this, new ideas and opportunities can flow smoothly between different aspects of one person's life. Trine: A trine is an angle of 120° an orb of somewhere between 5° and 10° depending on the planets involved. The trine relates to what is natural and indicates harmony and ease. Conjunct/Conjunction: In astrology, a conjunction is formed when two or more planets line up exactly. When they line up, their vibrations blend and work together. Domicile: A planetary ruler is given to each sign, over which the planet has a more powerful influence when positioned therein. A planet is considered to be in domicile when it is positioned in the sign it rules. Example: Both Libra and Taurus is ruled by Venus. So if you have Venus in Libra or Taurus, you have your Venus it's Domicile.  Detriment: Refers to the sign of the zodiac that is opposite to a planet's domicile.When a planet is in the sign that is opposite to its own domicile, it is said to be in its detriment. A planet being in its detriment to be a debilitating factor to planet. Example: Since Venus rules Libra, & Taurus, Venus is in detriment in those opposing signs Aries, & Scorpio. If you have your Venus in Scorpio or Aries, your Venus is in detriment. Don't worry that's not a bad thing! It just means you have an intensity to Venusian themes: money, relationships, fashion, values, and your overall taste.  Exaltation: When a planet is exalted it is a place of awareness for the planet, whereas the fall is a position of weakness concerning the function of the planet. The sign position directly opposite a planet's sign of exaltation is considered to be its fall. Example: Venus is exalted in Pisces.
