This week, the Sun's square to Neptune asks, “Who are you, really?” And as the Sun conjoins Jupiter just in time for the Cancer New Moon, we learn something about traveling far to find our tribe and the wandering ways we might have to sacrifice in order to belong. And Mercury enters Leeeeoooo for a storytelling journey that involves the mentorship of Saturn, the imagination of Neptune, and the soul-bearing honesty of Pluto. And a listener question about the Part of Fortune. Plus: Phoning home, sitting at the supper table, and the stuff of legend.   Read a full transcript of this episode. Timestamps [1:32] The Sun squares Neptune (June 23, 1:29 AM PDT) at 2°08' Cancer-Aries. The Sun in connection with Neptune, often suggests a crisis of confidence when we ask, “Who am I? What do I want?” [3:14] The Sun conjoins Jupiter (June 24, 8:17 AM PDT) at 3º21' Cancer. Yearning for a big, bold adventure that gives us a chance to be part of a community. Timestamps [1:27] Mars enters Virgo this week on June 17 (1:35 AM PDT), through Aug. 6. Mars in Virgo is perfectionistic, try not to second-guess yourself and obsess about details. Take Mars in Leo's creative projects and send them to the editor for refinement. [3:38] Moon Report! The Pisces Last Quarter Moon (June 18, 12:19 PM PDT) is at 27°47' Pisces and Gemini. The Sabian symbol for the Moon is 28 Pisces, A fertile garden under the Full Moon, and the symbol for the Sun is 28 Gemini, A man declared bankrupt. The First Quarter Moon (first action point) was on Dec. 19, 2023, at 27°35' Pisces.  The Full Moon (awareness point) was on Sep. 17, 2024, at 25°40' Pisces. [8:13] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon periods. On June 16 (10:31 AM PDT), the Moon in Aquarius opposes Mars in Leo. It's VOC for 38 minutes, and then enters Pisces (11:09 AM PDT). Tempers could flare and arguments could ensue. This is a great day to start a new exercise regimen. [9:33] On June 18 (2:34 PM PDT), the Moon in Pisces sextiles Uranus. It's VOC for 1 hour 34 minutes, and then enters Aries (4:08 PM PDT). Play a little hooky, change up your routine or maybe even just disregard routines altogether! [10:34] On June 20 (6:49 PM PDT), the Moon in Aries sextiles the Sun. This is a fast VOC, only 4 minutes, and then the Moon enters Taurus (6:53 PM PDT). Feeling overwhelmed?  Set a timer, and for four minutes, do a breathing exercise. [11:43] On June 22 (6:50 PM PST), the Moon in Taurus conjoins Uranus. It's VOC for 1 hour, 7 minutes, then enters Gemini (7:57 PM PDT). This conjunction takes place on the anaretic (final) degree of 29°18' Taurus. What are the physical, aesthetic, and financial themes that have changed for you since Uranus entered Taurus in 2018? Practice some gratitude for what you've learned during this time. [13:27] On June 18 (8:16 PM PDT), Jupiter squares Neptune at 2°06' Cancer-Aries. This transit happens about every six to seven years. Jupiter and Neptune are both associated with beliefs, but there are fundamental differences between them that can make Jupiter emphasizes knowing and Neptune emphasizes faith. [16:02] The Sun enters Cancer on June 20 (7:42 PM PDT), through July 22. Cancer is a cardinal sign, one of the four signs that initiates a new season of the year. The Cancer solstice marks the official start of summer in the northern hemisphere and the start of winter in the southern hemisphere. Cancer symbolizes extreme protectiveness of those that we feel are part of our clan, family, community, and country. [18:21] Mars sextiles Jupiter on June 22 (3:32 AM PDT) at 2°51' Virgo-Cancer. We can make great strides towards specific goals. This is another excellent time this week to initiate a serious exercise program.  The Sabian symbol for Jupiter is 3 Cancer, A man all bundled up in fur, leading a shaggy deer. [20:06] The Sun squares Saturn on June 22 (11:36 am PDT) at 1°35' Aries- Cancer. This can be a productive and character-building transit, but it usually is not a very cheerful one. It's one of the best transits for building strength and endurance. [21:40] Listener Angeline asks about whether astrology's recent popularity is a trend or a belief system. Trickster Magic with Mercury-Jupiter in Gemini: Weekly Astrology for June 2 - 8

Weekly Astrology Forecast Podcast

Play Episode Listen Later May 31, 2025 54:07

The astrology this week brings some trickster energy with Mercury making several aspects and changing signs. There are several themes around shifts in perspective that seem like a natural unfolding following the New Moon in Gemini last week. This week elaborates on the last and simultaneously shows themes of expansion, as well as stabilizing and rooting into what's next. The astrology this week includes:First Quarter Moon in Virgo: on Monday, June 2 at 8:41pm PT, this is an opening square aspect of the Moon and Sun, signaling a time of coming up against conflicting ideas or areas of focus. The Sun in Gemini and Moon in Virgo are both ruled by the trickster planet Mercury. You're being called to be flexible, to shift your focus, and use discernment.Venus in Aries sextile Jupiter in Gemini: A spark of creative joy is available to you when you pay attention.Venus moves into Taurus: on Thursday, June 5 at 9:42pm PT. Venus will be in Taurus for about a month, until July 4th. Venus in Taurus is a time of rooting into what you love, strengthening your values, finding pleasure, and seeking a greater sense of meaning in your joy. Venus' movement into Taurus also initiates its square to Pluto, which brings intensity and depth to matters of love, relationships, beauty, and social activities. Venus-Pluto calls us to reach for deeper intimacy in our relationships, and in ourselves.Mercury in Gemini sextile Mars in Leo + sextile Chiron in Aries: There is trickster energy here as well! You may be called to seek out new information that is healing or helps you find peace around a challenging situation.Mercury in Gemini conjunct Jupiter in Gemini: Expanding your awareness, lots of ideas, and exploring new things. You may find yourself having many big visions for the future. These ideas may arise from within you, from dreams, or via suggestions from others. Allow your mind to flow, capture as much as you can, and know that you can sort through things over the coming year (because this aspect is like an annual “new moon” phase for Mercury and Jupiter).Mercury moves into Cancer: on Sunday, June 8 at 3:58pm PT. Mercury will be in Cancer for about 3 weeks, until June 27th. Because Cancer is a cardinal sign and because Mercury just made a conjunction to Jupiter, this marks a point of initiating new ideas, a new perspective, and new ways of thinking. And, these ideas and perspectives are informed by feeling and intuition. There's also a slow, steady, and determined pace (because Mercury is also now making a square to Saturn).Mars in Leo opposite Pallas in Aquarius: Feeling passionate and called to action! This is a very dynamic-feeling transit and could be channeled toward crafty or creative activities, physical movement, advocacy work, being direct and strategic about a boundary, or embracing your anger and agitation in any way that feels right for you! This aspect is all about advocation, protection, and moving your energy either physically or energetically.Reflection Questions:1.   What big ideas are on your mind now, what else wants to emerge thruyou?2.   What feelings are coming forward in relational dynamics? 3.   What is important to you now and how can you advocate for it?...Wishing you a week of ease, security, and safety

Venus in Aries likes to move fast, might be prone to impulse shopping, and likes the thrill of the romantic chase. [4:21] Venus conjoins Neptune at 1º08' Aries (May 2, 10:07 am PDT). Look for connections to Feb. 1 (Venus direct) and March 27 (Venus Rx), when Venus previously conjoined Neptune, especially related to relationships and finances. [7:27] Moon Report! The First Quarter Moon in Leeeeoo is on May 4 (6:52 am PDT) at 14°21' Leo and Taurus. This is the phase to take action towards those New Moon goals from the April 27 Taurus New Moon. The Full Moon (awareness point) of this LPFC is on Feb. 1, 2026, and the Last Quarter Moon (final action point) on Nov. 1, 2026. [10:25] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon periods. On April 28 (10:18 pm PDT), the Moon in Taurus sextiles Venus in Pisces. It's VOC for 1 hour, 16 minutes, and then enters Gemini (11:34 pm PDT). Make it part of your daily routine to enjoy a little time out, relaxation, and indulgence, especially if you tend to work hard and not take enough time for yourself. [11:32] On April 30 (8:49 pm PDT), the Moon in Gemini squares Saturn in Pisces. It's VOC for 3 hours, 34 minutes, and then enters Cancer on May 1 (12:23 am PDT). Use this VOC Moon period to think about how we can use any recent setbacks, obstacles, or rejections to improve communication, and that means listening as well.  Work hard on developing communication skills that are a little bit sensitive and intuitive, as opposed to just coming from the mind, coming from the heart as well. [12:55] On May 3 (1:02 am PDT), the Moon in Cancer trines Saturn in Pisces. It's VOC for 3 hours, 27 minutes, and then enters Leo (4:29 am PDT). If you are awake, use this VOC period to develop a solid work routine. Because in doing that, your emotions will be more stable, your confidence will get a boost, which will increase the respect you receive from others. [14:14] Pluto stations retrograde (May 4, 8:27 am PDT, until Oct. 13) at 3º49' Aquarius. With Pluto is still being opposed by Mars in Leo, this is not a quiet descent into the underworld, it's more like a fiery plunge. Pluto stations on the Sabian symbol 4 Aquarius, A Hindu healer. Re-Enchantment of Your Heart with Venus-Neptune in Aries: Weekly Astrology Forecast for April 28 - May 4

Weekly Astrology Forecast Podcast

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 26, 2025 53:05

The astrology this week is lighter and more liminal than the last several weeks. It invites a re-enchantment with life, especially in matters of your heart. This week's astrology includes:- Venus moves into Aries on Wed 4/30: An energizing initiation of fresh energy around relationships, love, beauty, healing pursuits, art, creativity. You may feel a readiness to move forward now, especially on relational themes that were on your heart in February and March (since Venus was already in Aries in Feb 5 – March 27 as a part of its retrograde process).- Venus conjunct Neptune in Aries: Both Saturn and Neptune have been an integral part of this Venus Retrograde this March – April. The conjunction becoming exact this week symbolizes a further re-enchantment of your capacity for love, union, and enjoyment. There's potential for full immersion into relational or creative things . . . as well as possibilities for enmeshment, blurring of boundaries, or illusions to arise. Neptune often helps us see our idealizations first by experiencing them unconsciously (i.e. being “in it” first). Over time we get to see people and situations as they are (rather than how we want them to be). There's beauty in the ideal as well as the reality when we hold it softly.- First Quarter Moon in Leo on Sun 5/4 at 6:52am PT: This point in the lunar cycle marks a crossroads for decisions. You may feel drawn to focus or reorient your energy toward what is most pressing right now. This First Quarter Moon in Leo emphasizes your relationship to giving and receiving affection, attention, and your magnetic pull on others. It provides opportunities to embody your inner spark. This First Quarter Moon also punctuates the dissipating Sun-Mars-Pluto t-square, so there may be additional insights or clarity around your autonomy, power, and control.- Pluto Stations Retrograde: This is a subtle component of the astrology this week. Pluto (along with the other outer planets) is retrograde about half the year. It's retrograde means that over the summer and fall, Pluto will slowly and slightly shift back a few degrees in the zodiac to about 0 degrees Aquarius. This symbolizes a concentration of Pluto in this place, meaning that any transits to Pluto will be more concrete, slow, steady, and take time to integrate.- Sun-Uranus in Taurus opposite Vesta-Juno in Scorpio: Bringing light, liberation, and awakening to the things that you are devoted to.Reflection Questions: 1.   What is your heart telling you now?  2.   How do you tend to idealize people or situations? 3.   How can you embody both strength and flexibility?Wishing you a week of ease, security, and safety

Plus: Saturn tactics for tough times, folded horns, and bathing with Venus! Read a full transcript of this episode. Have a question you'd like answered on the show? Email April or leave it here! Timestamps [1:12] Saturn conjuncts the North Node (April 21, 4:31 am PDT) at 26°50' Pisces, on Sabian symbol 27 Pisces, A Harvest Moon. This is the first conjunction between Saturn and the North Node since September 2013. You might succeed in a way that you have envisioned and hoped for, but sometimes the success comes in a form you never could have imagined. [2:28] Venus conjuncts the North Node (April 23, 9:35 pm PDT) at 26°54' Pisces. This transit can indicate that close friends or partners are helping you achieve success.  [3:00] The Sun squares Pluto (April 23, 10:10 am PDT) at 3º47' Taurus-Aquarius. The Sun's Sabian symbol is 4 Taurus, The rainbow's pot of gold; Pluto is on 4 Aquarius, A Hindu healer. Claim your importance, and let go of anything that you no longer need.  [5:26] Venus conjuncts Saturn (April 24, 5:02 pm PDT) at 27°13' Pisces, on Sabian symbol 28 Pisces, A fertile garden under the Full Moon. This concludes a Venus-Saturn series that began on Jan. 18 and repeated on April 7. Are you any clearer about what you want in relationships and in the way you earn your money?  [7:53] Mars opposes Pluto (April 26, 6:05 pm PDT) at 3º48' Leo-Aquarius. The usual interpretation of Mars with Pluto has to do with power struggles and dealing with forces beyond your control. What matters most in these situations is how you handle powerlessness, anger, and frustration. Mars' Sabian symbol, 4 Leo, is A man formally dressed and a deer with its horns folded. Pluto's Sabian symbol is sometimes written as, A Hindu Yogi demonstrates his healing powers. [10:18] Moon Report! The Taurus New Moon is on April 27 (12:31 pm PDT), at 7º46' Taurus. The Moon is exalted in the sign of Taurus, so this is one of the most powerful New Moons of the year. But the Mars-Pluto opposition makes this a little more of a tumultuous New Moon. Taurus is ruled by Venus, so enjoy the sensual aspects of life. The Sabian symbol for this New Moon degree is 8 Taurus, A sleigh without snow. [13:29] This New Moon begins a lunar phase family cycle (LPFC) that unfolds over the next three years. Make a careful note of what your intentions are, what you would like to achieve in your physical health, financial abundance, and sense of security. Jan. 25, 2026 is the First Quarter Moon (first action point) of this LPFC, the Full Moon (awareness point) is on Oct. 25, 2026, the Last Quarter Moon (final action point) is on July 26, 2027. [15:34] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon periods. On April 22 (2:55 pm PDT), the Moon in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. It's VOC for 7 hours 12 minutes, then enters Pisces (10:07 pm PDT). Step out of your safety zone to do things on your own. [16:40] On April 24 (7:57 pm PDT), the Moon in Pisces conjoins Venus. It's VOC for 4 hours 27 minutes, then enters Aries on April 25 (12:24 am PDT). Enjoy all of the Venusian things life has to offer, but don't go overboard. [18:11] On April 26 (9:18 am PDT), the Moon in Aries sextiles Jupiter. The Moon is VOC for 14 hours 59 minutes (!!!), then enters Taurus on April 27 (12:17 am PDT). Share the good things that come your way and offer encouraging words to other people. [19:18] Listener Pomahoba asks about scary Pluto transits. A rebellious Venus, and if you get too wild, Venus's conjunction to Saturn guarantees that there will be consequences. A motivating transit, especially for more financial freedom, but more financial volatility as well. [7:54] Mercury conjoins the North Node (April 10, 6:01 PM PDT) at 27º23' Pisces. What would spiritual, artistic, and romantic satisfaction look like to you?  [10:13] Moon Report! The Full Moon in Libra is on April 12 (5:22 PM PDT) at 23º20' Libra. Full Moons in general, and a Full Moon in Libra in particular, are closely connected with one-on-one relationships. Are our relationships fair, harmonious, in balance? The Full Moon's Sabian symbol is 24 Libra, A third wing on the left side of a butterfly. The Sun and Full Moon form a T-Square with Mars in Cancer, introducing passion and potential for conflict in our closest relationships. [12:32] This is the Full Moon (awareness point) in a lunar phase family cycle (LPFC) that began with the New Moon on Oct. 14, 2023 at 21º07' Libra. The First Quarter Moon in this LPFC (first action point) was on July 13, 2024,  Last Quarter (final action point) comes on Jan. 10, 2026. [14:04] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon Periods. On April 7 (9:08 pm PDT), the Moon in Leeeeeeooooo squares Uranus in Taurus. It's VOC for 9 hours and 32 minutes, then enters Virgo (April 8, 6:40 am PDT). See things from other perspectives and share the spotlight. [14:56] On April 10 (12:49 pm PDT), the Moon in Virgo opposes Mercury. It's VOC for 5 hours 23 minutes, then enters Libra (6:12 pm PDT). Take time out to meditate on tough decisions. [16:25] On April 13 (3:01 am PDT), the Moon in Libra squares Mars in Cancer. It's VOC for 3 hours 53 minutes, then enters Scorpio (6:54 am PDT).  [17:38] Venus stations direct (April 12, 6:02 pm PDT) at 24º37' Pisces. When Venus is retrograde (since March 1), desires and aesthetics lean toward the unconventional and sometimes knock relationships off balance. Money matters have also been unstable. Venus turning direct should eventually settle relationship strife and financial unrest. The Sabian symbol for this station is 25 Pisces, The purging of the priesthood.  [20:13] Listener Helio asks about medical astrology. Click here to download a medical astrology cheatsheet!
