Important Dates 8.1.21 Mercury conjuncts sun: CAZIMI! This will happen exactly around noon central time. This is the perfect time to sit with yourself in meditation. This is a powerful portal of time. Things will become clear and you will have good access to your intuition/higher self: rich field of mind. 8.1.21 Sun and Mercury both will be opposing Saturn in Aquarius. This will add a level of seriousness to our communication and mental stage. This can also make us a bit critical of ourselves. Use the Saturnian energy to organize technology, your schedule, but more important your mental self care.  8.2.21/8.3.21 Venus trine Uranus mix up how you approach pleasure. Also a really fun day to play with your fashion or try new food!  8.4.21 Mercury Square Uranus: This transit can cause and upset of plans and/or add a fun surprise to your daily routine. When I see Uranus and Mercury together I think of the nervous system. So if you are like a lot of us who are dis-regulated right now, make sure to take extra time to nurture your nervous system today. Stay off screens as much as possible and GET OUTSIDE. Moving your body with walking, biking, or running will help channel this energy and release excess.  8.6.21-8.7.21 Sun Square Uranus: expect the unexpected. Make a schedule, but be willing to go with the flow. Uranus squares tend to put people on edge so be mindful of outbursts. When people feel rattled they try to control things in their external world. Rather than working against Uranus, work with them (Uranus def is non-binary btw). Allow Uranus to mix things up with your world and be open to adventure to honor this transit. What you resists causes injury, frustration, accidents, and anxiety. Just let it be. Make sure to get movement in on these two days.   8.8 16 degrees of Leo new moon fixed signs getting a break a bit. But the Uranus energy is pretty prominent squaring new moon. Uranus giving this new moon a feeling of newness, that impending change is definitely coming. This may make you feel hopeful and excited about what's to come, or can make you feel anxious and nervous. Embrace the uncertainty but avoid making abrupt changes in your own life. If change happens, roll with it, but resist the urge to uproot your whole life.  8.9.21-8.10.21 Venus opposing Neptune: time to check out just know things won't always stay this way. If you meet someone new this may not be the reality of the situation. Maybe too good to last. Purpose to not be productive. Virgo needs to loosen up a little bit and relax. Enjoy checking out a little or seeing the world through rose-colored glasses. Just be aware this feeling won't last.  8.10.21 Mercury opposes Jupiter: This transit leaves everyone pretty chatty. Jupiter is expansion and Mercury is communication. So while there is a lot of connecting going on, there can also be a surplus of information coming at you. This is a wonderful time to explore other religions or ways of thought especially astrology.  8.11 Mercury goes into Virgo: When Mercury goes into Virgo our speech and thought process is very important to us. This is a wonderful time to analyze wha's important to us. Details may come a bit easier to us now. This is a great time to edit or clean out a room in our house. Know that your speech is likely to be a bit dry, critical, and maybe ever lacking creativity.  8.11.21-8.12.21 Venus Trine Pluto: This is a wonderful time to do some transformational work. You may even finding yourself transforming your whole look. Maybe use this time to transform your finances. The is a fabulous transit for doing any healing work around money or love.  8.15 Venus enters Libra: You will likely be very charming during this time. This is a great transit for getting what you want. We we are willing to work with others and a very idealistic about love. The only down side to this transit is we can become flighty, inconsistent, and avoid going deeper into issues. This is a wonderful time for photographers, artist, musicians, and creatives of all types.  8.18.21 Mercury conjunct Mars get some work done: Intense editing, fierce analysis, writing code, in laboratory. More constructive. Look at where this is in your chart. Slander, accusations, law suits, this will happen globally. Inflammation from mars it's important that you know your wrong. This is a good time to edit anything. Cutting or editing. Not the best time to create. You may make a cutting remark and not realize what damage you are doing.  8.19.21 Uranus Retrograde 8.19.21 Sun opposing Jupiter: Everything is falling into place. There is a bit of luck to everything you do. Watch overcommitting yourself and being too optimistic about your future efforts. If you are naturally shy, you will have a little be a little more outgoing and confident. Ten Points I look at in the chart:  Ascendent/Rising Sign: is your social personality. It is how you dawn on people as it relates to the zodiac sign that was on the Eastern horizon when you were born. Your rising sign represents your physical body and outward style. Chart Ruler: the placement of the ruling planet of your rising sign. So if you're a Sagittarius rising, your ruling planet will be Jupiter. What sign and house Jupiter is in the chart will have a lot to do with the personality of the native. The Sun is my chart ruler which is in the 6th house at 0 degrees of Capricorn.  Night or Day Chart: Determine if the native has a Night Chart or a Day chart: Where is the sun in the chart? If the Sun is in houses: 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, or 7 this is a day chart. If the Sun is in houses: 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1, this is a night chart. Diurnal is associated with masculinity, and linear, logical thinking. This is associated with the father and the sun. The Nocturnal is associated with femininity, circular thinking, spiritual, and the emotional world. Day is more active, night is more active. I am a night chart.  Determine the Sect Ruler: if they are a night chart look at the primary luminary first which is the moon. If they have a sun chart look at the primary luminary of the sun first. My moon is my sect ruler and is my primary luminary. My moon is at 22 degrees of Libra in the 3rd house. The moon has it's joy in the third house. My Libra moon makes me very social and concerned with aesthetics. It squares my Mercury which makes very chatty and gives me the gift of writing and communicating. Often air moons like to think through their feeling rather than feel them.  Secondary Luminary: The opposite of the sect ruler. If the moon is the primary luminary (sect ruler) then the sun is the secondary luminary. My sun is at zero degrees of Capricorn and is forming a conjunction with Uranus. I often have bust of creativity and insights into healing and practical ways to make life easier. This also makes me very clumsy.  Angular Houses: 1st, 4th, 7th, & 10th: This is true for every chart. These houses are the pillars of the chart and what hold it together. In my first house I have my south node and in my seventh house I have my north node. Because of this I'm comfortable with having a lot of alone time.  North Node/South Node: The north node My north node being in my seventh house shows me I'm here to learn a lot by being in partnership. I also have Venus in my 7th house opposing my ascendent.  Midheaven/IC: The Midheaven (MC) is the highest point of your potential in the chart. My MC  is at 24 degrees of Aries, and my IC is at 24 degrees of Libra which is conjuncting my moon in the third house.  Malefic: In astrology, a malefic planet, or simply malefic, is a planet thought to bring bad luck and misfortune to those born within its radius. Saturn in a night chart is considered more malefic, while Mars is considered more malefic in a day chart. For my chart, Saturn is the malefic to watch out for since I'm a night chart. My Saturn is at fourteen degrees of Capricorn.  Benefic: Jupiter and Venus, which are said to grant good fortune by contrast to malefic planets. Jupiter is the main benefic for the day chart, and Venus is the main benefic for a night chart. Venus is the benefic that brings me the most good since I have a night chart. Welcome to July! The month starts out with a Uranus, Mars, and Saturn having in out in a t-square. This causes a lot of tension between our ego, external obstacles, and accidents. This likely lead to a lot of frustration and anxiety. But the New Moon the second week of July gives us a break from the stress and set simple intentions. The end of the month brings clarity to issues brought to the surface mid month. Mars and Venus show up in the Leo to help you figure out your balance with giving and taking. Now is the time to nurture yourself and set simple, and maybe even small intentions around this Lunation. The moon is also trining with Jupiter and widely Neptune so there is a lot of hope around this time.  7.11.21 Mercury moves into Cancer: This completes the Mercury shadow period. Your mental focus may not be as clear. Use music and meditation to clear you mind.  7.12.21 Moon/Venus/Mars meet up in Leo at around 18 degrees. Mars is what you don't want, Venus is what you do want, and Moon is how you feel about it. This will require some give and take maybe even within yourself. Mars takes, Venus gives. Where is Leo in your chart? If it's in your first house you may need to look at how your tendency to give and takes affects your physical body. If Leo is in your 2nd house you may look at your relationship with giving and taking in your finances.  7.21.21 Venus moves into Virgo: 7.22.21 Sun moves into Leo: Today is a new day! The Sun is now in it's home sign of Leo, and Venus is in the practical earth sign of Virgo. You will likely feel very capable today and find yourself overcommitting to help the people around you. You may get a lot done but with no personal planets in air signs, you may act and do without thinking or communicating. Venus is okay with getting attention and Mars reminds her how to “work it!” This is a great time to do things that feel good.  4.9.21 Neptune in Pisces squares Mars in Gemini: This is a fairly messy, murky aspect. Mars gets so excited about his ideas, and then looses it because Mars in Gemini struggles to stay focused and then with the confusion of Neptune in Pisces there's a lot fo murky action. This would be a wonderful time to do some witchy meditative rituals. This is a constructive way to use this energy.  4.11.21 New Moon in Aries 9.30pm There is a huge pile up of planets in Aries. Chiron, Mercury, the sun, and the moon all in Aries. Aries is ruled by Mars and is governing, fiery, free, public, & is watery with thunder and hail. Basically think of Thor. Aries is the warrior god and will rain down the fire upon you. This is a great time to start something new, but this is a very hot new moon.  4.14.21 Venus enters the sign of Taurus. This is Venus' home sign and will be happy to finally get to this placement. Venus is so happy to be able to rest with her comfortable bed, chocolate, and yummy food. Venus is very comfortable in this placement. This is a very inspiring place for her. She can be creative and relax and focus on nurturing relationships. This is a good time to reevaluate relationships of all kinds: our relationship with ourselves, and our relationship with others.  4.18.21 Mercury conjunct Sun in Aries: CAZIMI! This is happening at 17 degrees of Aries. Mercury can't really be seen until it's out of Cazimi. It's being blinded by the light of Aries! Blueprints are being made but no one knows what is actually being planned at this point because the Sun is overpowering Mercury. Good stuff is happening you just might not be able to see it yet. 4.19.21 Sun enters Taurus: Slowing down and smelling the flowers. But the mind and communication is still very hidden under the rays of the sun.  4.22.21 Venus conjunct Uranus in the sign of Taurus: a sudden manifestation of money. It is also a lightbulb moment when you realize you value something more than you thought you did or realizing you no longer enjoy something you once did. It's also possible that you may find something unexpected that you value or enjoy. Surprises around values, pleasure, relationship, and money.  4.22.21 Virgo Moon trining Venus/Uranus conjunction: brining a sense of grounding to practicality to the Venus/Uranus conjunction.  4.23.21 Mars enters the sign of Cancer. Mars is in it's fall in this placement. It may be a little difficult to be straightforward. Passive aggression may be the way you feel drawn to communicate. We will likely take things more personal than usually. Momma Bear protective energy is possible. This isn't a very active Mars. There are a lot of feelings with this placement.  4.24.21 HOT MESS EXPRESS: Mercury in Taurus will conjunct Uranus in Taurus. Everybody is about to get real honest real fast. Episode 9: Freedom in Sexuality Sex. We are taught to fear it, be good at it, control it, protect it, and for many of us hide it. Our convoluted view of Sexuality is a combination of Sex Talks given by parents, pastors, friends, and society. But for most of us our first beliefs about sex can be summed up by Coach Carr from Mean Girls: “Don't have sex, because you will get pregnant and die!” Needless to say, Sex can be a bit of  a touchy subject. And it gets so much more confusing as we get older! Because now that we've figured out we won't actually die from having Sex, we are faced with insecurities, shame, and feelings of inadequacy when we get in the sheets with a partner or ourselves. So how do we heal our sexuality and begin to see if as a source of pleasure and connection? Defining Woo Woo Words Chakras, alignment, and grounding oh my! What the heck do all the words mean anyway? Yea, we had no idea what they meant when we entered this world either. But what is intuition exactly? Is it God? Higher Self? Source? We all have different ways we feel our intuition. Intuition is a knowing without conscious reasoning.  Alignment/Being in Flow: the idea of being in a straight line. When we are aligned when source/energy begins to flow we are in the prime position to receive what's coming to you. Chakra: are essentially seven wheels of spinning energy. There are seven major chakras; root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown. Chakras can be blocked, overactive, or cleared and activated.  Clearing: moving through stagnant energy. The best way to clear energy is to feel it. Part of clearing is feeling. Victoria feels that pooping is the perfect metaphor for clearing.  Shadow: anywhere light isn't. A shadow can be a strength and a weakness. Integrating: taking two separate pieces and making them one.  Purging: There is a purging that takes place with the integration that can feel like we are going backwards. When our brain is changing belief systems  Ego: The ego is the gatekeeper. The ego's job is to run the program is has been coded to run.  Intention: We are constantly setting intentions. Intentions are like magic spells. We can have conscious and subconscious intentions.  Consciousness: simply put, it's awareness.  Manifestation: brining into the 3D what we have been co-creating in other dimensions. We are constantly creating our reality with our mind and intentions.  Law of Attraction: Like attracts like.  Grounding: the act of getting back into your body. Connecting our root chakra to the earth.  Outro: We are again joined by Caleb as he helps Victoria strengthened her metaphor about the Ego being like a computer. Ego=CPU. Her Mercury in Capricorn was clearly taking over.
