On this week's WilmsFront I catch up with fellow long-time lock downed Melbournian Richard Wolstencroft Host of the Report From Tiger Mountain and Organiser of the Melbourne Underground Film Festival about the shift in popular and celebrity culture during this pandemic's lockdowns. As well as discussing where we are in the pandemic and including the vaccine rollout we look at the rising number of celebrities and sports stars speaking out against continued lockdowns such as Dave Hughes here in Melbourne, basketballer Andrew Bogut and oversees musician Eric Clapton who has released an anti-lockdown song. Richard also takes us through some of his lockdown DVD viewings as still keeps up a massive home library and also what he recommends on streaming services. The new extreme Black Lives Matter movement has turned its attention to historical wiping of our statues, places, brands, films and comedy. On this week's WilmsFront we expose the enablers of the new war on human history with Australian filmmaker Paul Moder and Antifa expert and Unshackled Contributor Lucas Rosas. Paul Moder is Australian filmmaker who has been in the Australian film industry for close to three decades. His specialty is gory special effects but is also an actor, comedian, producer, direction and writer Paul won the Best Gratuitous Use of Violence Award for his work on the 2003 Australian exploitation film Bullet in the Arse at the 2003 Melbourne Underground Film Festival which is operated by Report from Tiger Mountain Host Richard Wolstencroft. Paul is currently in pre-production on WASP The Port Arthur Massacre which has already attracted controversy due to his standing as a dissent filmmaker. He was interviewed by Waleed Aly about the film on the Project in 2016. Paul and I discuss the causes of this sudden push to wipe historical films and comedies for apparently glorifying racial and colonial oppression or blackface character acting. We explore what this means for the future of comedy in our society and why comedy and making people laugh is so important for us and free speech. The extreme Black Lives Matter globalist version 2.0 has been imported into Australia by the usual far-left Marxist and anarchist agitators in Australia. After largely obeying the coronavirus lockdown in Australia they are back protesting on mass. Lucas Rosas has now written over 100 articles exposing the far-left groups and players in Australia. Socialist Alternative sister organisation Solidarity was the only far-left group to break the lockdown protesting outside a dentition centre in Preston in inner north Melbourne and being fined by Victoria Police. They also orgiansied a protest in Melbourne back in February against the travel ban from China. The Black Lives Matter protests in Australia’s major cities were organised by either the Australian Communist Party and Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance. Socialist Alternative played a supporting role, their far-left extremist Marxist views were not highlighted by the mainstream media. After last Friday night’s Black Lives Matter rally in Sydney where they attempted to march on Captain Cook’s statue in Hyde Park, two women came back and vandalized it One of them was Xiaoran Shi a part-time staffer for NSW Greens MLC David Shoebridge, the most extreme far-left elected member of the Greens who has spoken at Marxist events. Discussed throughout the interview is ABC Radio National’s recent Background Briefing episode alleging that the racist “far-right” is exploiting the coronavirus pandemic to whip up anti-Asian fears. According this report being critical of the Chinese Communist Party and that the People’s Republic of China gave birth to the coronavirus is racist. On Tuesday's regular Uncuckables Coronapanic in Australia continues with toilet paper still selling out. Meanwhile, Hollywood is back preaching despite its perversions still making headlines. On the panel tonight Tim Wilms Editor in Chief of The Unshackled, Richard Wolstencroft Host of the Report from Tiger Mountain and Director of the Melbourne Underground Film Festival, and Reg Penney from Channel Reg and NSW Patriots Against the Extreme Left. As well as the mass toilet paper panic buying Australia, our emergency wards are beginning to fill up with those wanting to get tested for coronavirus. Super Tuesday II is upon us with Joe Biden positioned as the clear frontrunner, the Bernie bros are about to be screwed over again, how will they react this time? Also, will Hillary Clinton be Biden's VP? Pedowood news continues to break, Corey Feldman's documentary the Rape of two Coreys premiered despite the movie website being hacked. Charlie Sheen was named as the rapist of now-deceased child actor Corey Haim. Convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein slipped and concussed himself in prison. Hollywood propaganda is still being pumped out during election with the new anti-America First miniseries the Plot Against America. After Richard leaves the studio Senator Slayer Neil Erikson phones in. The focus of the show then turns to Australian local politics with National Careers Ambassador Scott Cam becoming very defensive about his 350k taxpayer-funded position. George Pell's High Court appeal against his historical sex crime conviction begins tomorrow which could go either way. We finish with the two hypocrites of the week. Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young provided a reference for a political lobbyist friend who pled guilty to slapping his wife. NSW Police Minister David Elliot shooting a firearm illegally. Man-made fire and fury have ravaged Australia this summer in the form of bushfires, and Iraq with Iran and the United States engaging in a proxy conflict. Hollywood, CNN, and the Royal Family have been set ablaze metaphorically this past week. On the first Uncuckables for 2020 on the panel is Tim Wilms Editor in Cheif of the Unshackled. Richard Wolstencroft Host of the Report from Tiger Mountain and Director of the Melbourne Underground Film Festival, and for his first time on the show Reg Penney who runs NSW Patriots Against the Extreme Left and Channel Reg on Telegram. While the social media mob and mainstream media are blaming climate change and Scott Morrison for the extent of Australia's bushfire season, arson, recklessly lit fires and lack of hazard reduction burns continue to be downplayed as the main contributing causes of the bushfires. Fake images of the bushfires have been circulated online, Tony Abbott's non-stop volunteer firefighting since September continues to be glossed over. The Socialist Alternative front group Uni Students for Climate Justice is planning a nationwide protest to sack ScoMo and fund climate change. The United States and Iran have ended their tit for tat attacks and airstrikes in Iraq with Iran firing only 15 missiles into Iraq as a response to an airstrike killing their most senior military official Gen Qassem Suleimani. The tensions stem from the Trump administration withdrawing the nation from the Iran nuclear and reimposing sanctions which have crippled their economy. World War Three has been cancelled. British comedian Ricky Gervais tore apart Hollywood virtue signalling in his opening monologue at the Golden Globes. Celebrities appear to be getting a wake-up call to their wokeness with celebrity donations pouring into the Australian bushfire relief appeal, rather than cheap climate change preaching. CNN has had to pay the Covington Catholic High School boys $250 million for smearing them as racists when they were abused by the Black Hebrew Israelites at the 2019 March for Life. It was another example of mainstream media doctoring footage to fit their narrative. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced their split from the Royal Family. Meghan is now a modern-day Wallis Simpson as this American socialite divorcee has caused a significant rift in the Royal Family, the Queen described 2019 as a bumpy year. The state of Victoria was plagued by fires and storms of biblical proportions. While the green religion blames it all on climate changes, others have suggested more traditional causes. Cinema like everything else in the current year is now political. Hollywood is now more explicit about pushing its worldview. On a Friday’s WilmsFront with a night at the movies on people’s minds catch up with Melbourne’s most red-pilled film buff Richard Wolstencroft to explore the politico-Hollywood complex. I provide the latest on the groyper war with Ben Shapiro of Daily Wire pre-empting the Q&A session with a 45-minute denouncement of the alt-right and America First host Nick Fuentes. The ABC has pulled Monday night’s episode of Q&A after countless complaints about its all feminist panel advocating violence against men, they will conduct an internal inquiry. Richard’s Melbourne Underground Film Festival has found itself deplatformed by its venue for this year’s festival after complaints to the owners. The festival is due to begin at month’s end so the search for a new venue has begun thick and fast. Veteran film director Martin Scorsese has kickstarted a debate about what should be considered cinema. Tim and Richard debate if the Marvel Cinematic Universe is cinema, it has proven more successful than other efforts to create film serials such as Star Wars. DC Comics has emerged in 21st-century cinema as the philosophical movie franchise. Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy began this with deeper explorations of the villains the Joker and Bane. Todd Phillips’ Joker has made $1 billion at the box office despite all the rage against it. The elites don’t like the movie exploring how a person like the Joker is born in our society. Another recent film that has contemporary political commentary is Rambo Last Blood whose plot is an exploration of Mexico drug cartels violence on the US southern border. The biggest box office bomb of the year is Terminator Dark Fate with its pro-feminist anti-male plot. The Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey sexual misconduct coverups only scratched the surface of the sinister culture that is engrained in Hollywood. Ronan Farrow’s book Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators documented his battle with NBC who refused to break the Weinstein story to protect their NBC Today host Matt Lauer. Hollywood also is eager to plague hostile actors and rogue states as the North Korea Sony Pictures hack in 2014 demonstrated. South Park also recently exposed Hollywood writing out any plotline which is critical of the Chinese Communist Party. Is blasphemy free speech? Do freedom and civil liberties lead to the most stable society? Those are the questions in discussions on tonight's Uncuckables in a packed studio with Tim Wilms, Editor in Chief of The Unshackled and David Hiscox, Editor of The XYZ, Richard Wolstencroft from the Report from Tiger Mountain and Melbourne Underground Film Festival and making her show debut YouTuber Dia Beltran. Hail the Chosen One, or King of the Jews. President Trump described himself as both this week where the big stories reigned supreme. In the studio as always is Tim Wilms Editor of Chief of The Unshackled, David Hiscox Editor of The XYZ, joining us for the first half of the show Richard Wolstencroft from the Melbourne Underground Film Festival and the Report from Tiger Mountain, and later on via Skype returning is Australian Meditations. Trump has been talking himself up as Isrealis greatest ally, even suggesting Jews in America should vote for him on that basis. He was successful in having Israel ban two members of the congressional squad Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib from traveling to the West Bank. Trump made a pitch to purchase the island of Greenland from Denmark, but the offer was not well received by the Danish Prime Minister. Jeffrey Epstein's death has been officially ruled a suicide by the medical examiner, despite all of the irregularities and suspect circumstances surround his death in custody while awaiting fresh child sex trafficking charges. Australia is assisting the United States in sending warships to patrol the Straight of Hormuz, the strategic sea passage to the Persian Gulf and the Arab states. Iran has seized two oil tankers traveling through to flex its diplomatic muscle in the wake of the US tearing up the nuclear deal. Alan Jones and SockGate has continued. ABC's Media Watch program on Monday night revealed more comments he made against Jacinda Ardern. Sleeping Giants Oz and Mad Fucking Witches have pressured 22 advertisers to withdraw from his radio program. The new owners of 2GB Nine seem to be laying the groundwork to dismiss Jones. Pauline Hanson went to climb Ayers Rock before the activity is banned this October. However she sought permission from the two sons of Paddy Uluru and the Anangu Council of Elders. Later this week she was banned from Twitter for suggesting climate protestors should be moved on with a cattle prod. The Queensland Government is finally promising to introduce tougher laws to crack down on invasive and disruptive climate and vegan protesters in the state. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has been under pressure not just on that issue but the alleged corrupt activities of her Deputy Jackie Trade and Chief of Staff. The Proud Boys went to Portland in the US state of Oregon again and triggered Antifa. All the Proud Boys did was show up and Antifa with their armed violence again proved why President Trump is right in looking into listing them as a domestic terror organisation. The battle against the legalisation of abortion until birth in New South Wales has had a significant victory with more time allowed for consultation. This following a highly successful rally for life outside the Parliament Tuesday evening. Religious leaders and institutions have played a huge part in the renewed movement to protect human life. The upholding of the jury conviction against Cardinal George Pell by the Supreme Court of Victoria has still led to a community divided. Many believe the probability of him sexually assaulting the two choir boys in St Patrick's Cathedral was zero. It has led to a further credibility attack on the Catholic Church. On this week's show along with regulars Tim Wilms Editor in Chief of The Unshackled and David Hiscox Editor of The XYZ we welcome for the first time Richard Wolstencroft from the Report from Tiger Mountain and the Melbourne Underground Film Festival. We also welcome back after long hiatus James Fox Higgins of The Rational Rise. We first deal with some breaking news that Cory Bernardi is deregistering his Australian Conservatives Party after their poor result in the federal election. He is tipped to rejoin the Liberal Party. We all agree that Cory's bland form of conservatism was not what the electorate was after. We then move to Westpac's decision to close the bank account of patriot activist Blair Cottrell for unspecified “commercial reasons”. Obviously because they not like his views and it is a further escalation of the corporate deplatforming movement. We provide an update the AFL latest social justice campaign with their behavioural awareness officers policing fans behaviour. Jeff Kennett made the point that much of the security at the games were “new arrivals” but soon apologized after being labelled racist. Other news items discussed are Alex Jones' allegedly sending child porn to the Sandy Hook families. We have gender fluid birth certificates set to become legal in Victoria, just as euthanasia became legal. Also the alleged Iranian attack on US oil tankers in the gulf with the US deep state and globalists up to their old tricks. We finish off with Richard giving an overview of the state of the film industry. We also encourage our Sydney audience to go the Aussie Pride Solidarity March organized by NSW Patriots Against the Extreme Left. Richard Wolstencroft unresigns from directing Melbourne Underground Film Festival and declares MUFF a "radical free speech event". Discusses independent filmmaking, censorship, Boyd Rice, Adrian Martin, Genre, group think and his high school media teacher.. http://www.muff.com.au/ Disclaimer: A few people have had a quiet "off-the-record" word with me about this podcast, that they are concerned by the very idea of me interviewing Richard Wolstencroft at all, even before hearing the podcast. But I will say the same thing here as I have in private - Richard has done plenty of important things for independent film while others wouldn't. To say I shouldn't interview Richard because he is "right wing" is as ridiculous as saying I shouldn't have interviewed my various left-wing guests for the same reason. Im less interested in the politics of film and more interested in people actually doing stuff. The living active culture of film and the personalities within it. When the likes of David Avocado Wolfe are being regarded as medical experts in place of practicing doctors, what does that mean for the discussion of health? It's a question that has been on my mind lately, particularly in the social media space where expertise is now diffuse. Screening as part of the Melbourne Underground Film Festival, Urine Aid is a documentary all about people who practice urine therapy. These are people looking for answers who have turned their backs on so-called "Western medicine" - so I was interested to learn what lies behind their decision to, well, drink their own piss. Finally apologies for the quality of the recording. There were some technical issues on the night that we decided to push through to capture the interview.
This special edition episode explores the ins & outs of the Melbourne Underground Film Festival's 2015 programme and line up of films and events. This episode of InConversation features writer/director Terry McMahon, who made his feature debut with the hugely controversial Charlie Casanova. Winner of ‘Best First Feature’ at The Galway Film Fleadh, nominated for four Irish Film and Television Awards, and picked up for distribution by Studio Canal, Charlie Casanova broke the mould for Irish independent film. McMahon followed that up with Patrick’s Day, which had its world premiere at SXSW and his next feature, the scabrously black romantic comedy, Oliver Twisted is currently in development with The Irish Film Board and producer Tim Palmer. Awarded Best Director at Melbourne Underground Film Festival and winner of the RKO Pictures Hartley-Merrill International Screenwriting Award in Cannes, the Tiernan MacBride Screenwriting Award and nominated for The Irish Screenwriters and Playwrights Guild Award, McMahon has also lectured on screenwriting and acting in Trinity College Dublin, IADT, UCD, The John Huston Film School and The Casa del Cinema in Rome.
