Welcome into the annual Glenn Clark Radio College Lacrosse Preview Show! So that means our good friend Patrick Stevens from the Washington Post and USA Lacrosse Magazine (and elsewhere) will be hanging out with us in studio all morning as well. You know the drill by now but just ahead of the college lacrosse season, we travel around the state and check in with all the local men's lacrosse programs and preview the season with each team's respective coach. So we're getting started early and batting leadoff, at 9:30am, will be Towson Head Coach Shawn Nadelen as the Tigers pursue another CAA title. He'll be followed by Johns Hopkins Head Coach Peter Milliman at 10am in our first visit to the Big Ten of the day. At 10:20am, we'll head down I-95 and catch up with John Tillman, the Maryland Terrapins Head Coach and see how the Terps are doing before opening weekend. At 10:40am, we'll return to Baltimore to catch up with Loyola Greyhounds Head Coach Charles Toomey as they prepare for a bounce back campaign in the Patriot League. At 11:10am, we'll head to western Maryland and see how the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers are doing under third-year Head Coach Chris Ryan. Welcome to the 2025 GCR College Basketball Preview Show! Always a fun morning when we get to go around the state and preview ALL the local college basketball programs, our good friend Patrick Stevens of Blue Ribbon and the Washington Post will be hanging out alongside us in studio as we chat with the Head Coaches from Loyola (MD), Mount St. Mary's, Towson, Coppin State, UMBC, Morgan State, and Navy! First up, at 9:20am, will be Head Coach of the Loyola (MD) Greyhounds Josh Loeffler as we see how the ‘Hounds are doing as they get ready for the season and prepare to compete once again in a tough Patriot League. At 9:40am, we'll head out to western Maryland and catch up with Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers and HC Donny Lind after Coach Lind led the Mount to a MAAC title and an NCAA Tournament appearance last season in his first year at the helm, we'll see how he plans to follow that performance up. At 10am, we'll go across the street here in Towson to see how the Towson Tigers are doing with HC Pat Skerry as they look to finally break through in the CAA, we'll talk all about bringing back reigning CAA Player of the Year Tyler Tejada and much more. At 10:20am, we will check in with HC Larry Stewart of the Coppin State Eagles in his 3rd season at his alma mater and how they're preparing for the MEAC gauntlet with yet another tough non-conference slate in November and December. At 10:40am, we'll hop on 695 and head to Catonsville and check in with UMBC HC Jim Ferry to see what the Retrievers are up to as they look to compete in the America East once again this season. At 11am, we'll see how the Morgan State Bears are doing with HC Kevin Broadus as the Bears look poised to make a run for the MEAC title this season. Finally, last but certainly not least, Navy HC Jon Perry will check in to let us know how his offseason went and what expectations are for the Mids' in Coach Perry's first season as Head Coach.
