We've figured out how to harness renewable energy from many natural systems, like solar, wind, and geothermal power. But what about the ocean's waves? Send us a textAs we start down the road of the Clinton years we shall see that both men, Bill Clinton and Bob Dole , struggle just a bit to get their sea legs in their new positions. We start out with inside footage of Bill Clinton as he starts his first meeting with his cabinet and later his first meeting with the Congressional Leadership. We will also see him as he meets the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Alan Greenspan for the first time. We will then listen as Greenspan talks to 60 Minutes about his time in the chairman's role and his assessment of Bill Clinton. The two men worked closely together and often Clinton listened to him as they set financial policy together. Then we follow Bob Dole as he goes and speaks to the Nations' Governors as the Senate Minority Leader, but everyone in the room recognizes his unspoken position as the leader of the Republican Party in America. That is a new role for Bob Dole who has often been the Senate Leader but usually under a Republican President, either Ronald Reagan or George H. W. Bush, but in 1993 he is the unquestioned leader of his party. Here you will hear him speak and answer questions with unusual humor and candor, as both men begin a new era in Washington D.C. Limerick artist Laura Duff released her debut album Sea Legs on May 23. A meditation on grief, it sees her confront the death of her father and the fallout in the following months and years. “I was setting out to write Sea Legs in my dad's memory,” she says. “It was very intentional in that way. All of the lyrical context is based around that, and his life, as well as trying to maintain some level of communication. Sea Legs is inspired by my experience of navigating everything that comes with losing a parent; dealing with grief as time passes, family relationships and the physicality of death.” Sea Legs was recorded, produced and mixed by Mícheál Keating in Knockaderry, Co Limerick, with the band featuring Keating, JJ Lee and Christopher O'Sullivan. Tim Buttlerly returns from the festival at sea that is "ShipRocked" and he has stories. The band P.O.D. performed on the boat and Bobby has to be educated on their catalog of songs. Tim trolled comic Mike Finoia on the cruise because of his constant moodiness. Butterly waited all year to hear Buckcherry perform a sexy, ten minute version of their song "Crazy Bitch" and was sorely disappointed. Bobby sees a stranger in the corner of the studio and has no idea that it's camper and meme artist AbsurdMoron. His real name is Rich and this is actually the second time that Bob slighted him. The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”Tucker Maile spent four years heading the Kingdom Collective, post-college-age fellowship, before assuming his current position as Lead Pastor of Calvary Boise. “I love teaching people about God, encouraging them in their day-to-day life, and inspiring them to know Jesus better. Pastor Jeremy shares the final message in his Ephesians Cruise series on Sunday in Glendive. Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. ● Wiles, the evil day, and fiery darts are all used by the devil to deceive us...or get us to believe in a lie. ● John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. ● Rev 12 says the devil is the one who “deceives the whole world” ● Rev 20 says the devil will be “shut up” and a seal placed on him so he can “deceive no more” Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. ● You resist deception w/ truth. You fight lies with the Word of God. ● Real money - counterfeit money ● 2 Cor 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Tucker Maile, lead pastor of Calvary Boise, speaks with Mike about getting his "preacher's sea legs" after floundering about for the first few minutes at the start of each sermon. They also speak about their shared conviction about the power of monological preaching, and the supplementary value of conversational dialogical conversational didactic conversations - both before and after the preaching event. Isaiah 40: 6-8 The voice said, “Cry out!” And [d]he said, “What shall I cry?” “All flesh is grass, And all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, Because the breath of the Lord blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.” Tucker Maile spent four years heading the Kingdom Collective, post-college-age fellowship, before assuming his current position as Lead Pastor of Calvary Boise. “I love teaching people about God, encouraging them in their day-to-day life, and inspiring them to know Jesus better. Our God is the author of everyone's walk of faith and I love to hear the stories of all He is doing in and through the people I'm privileged to serve.”Resources Mentioned: Tuck and Tom Show : https://www.youtube.com/c/TuckandTom/videos Conversation with Kirk Crager on Ecclesiates : https://youtu.be/iZ5EUpJeAjo?t=966 Top 10 Things to do in Boise, Idaho : https://www.tripadvisor.ie/Attractions-g35394-Activities-Boise_Idaho.htmlRecommended EpisodesEvan Wickham - Sermons should be prepared in community: https://www.expositorscollective.com/podcast/2018/9/25/episode-14-sermons-should-be-prepared-in-community Nijay Gupta - How NOT to use commentaries: https://www.expositorscollective.com/podcast/2021/6/1/how-not-to-use-commentaries-nijay-gupta Greg Jao - Collaboration and invitation: https://www.expositorscollective.com/podcast/2021/4/6/collaboration-and-invitation-greg-jaoOur next in-person Training Weekend for men and women of all ages will be in Boise, Idaho on October 14-15, 2022 at Calvary Boise. Ed "NJWeedman" Forchion and his partner, Debi Madaio have snagged international headlines as of recent, vocalizing their stance in New Jersey's trending weed politics. X Minus One is an American half-hour science fiction radio drama series that broadcast from April 24, 1955 to January 9, 1958 in various time slots on NBC. Known for high production values in adapting stories from the leading American authors of the era, X Minus One has been described as one of the finest offerings of American radio drama and one of the best science fiction series in any medium. Overview: Initially a revival of NBC's Dimension X (1950–51), the first 15 episodes of X Minus One were new versions of Dimension X episodes, but the remainder were adaptations by NBC staff writers, including Ernest Kinoy and George Lefferts, of newly published science fiction stories by leading writers in the field, including Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Robert A. Heinlein, Frederik Pohl and Theodore Sturgeon, along with some original scripts by Kinoy and Lefferts. Included in the series were adaptations of Robert Sheckley's "Skulking Permit," Bradbury's "Mars Is Heaven", Heinlein's "Universe" and "The Green Hills of Earth'', " Pohl's "The Tunnel under the World", J. T. McIntosh's "Hallucination Orbit", Fritz Leiber's "A Pail of Air '', and George Lefferts' "The Parade". The program opened with announcer Fred Collins delivering the countdown, leading into the following introduction (although later shows beginning with Episode 37 were partnered with Galaxy Science Fiction rather than Astounding Science Fiction): Countdown for blastoff... X minus five, four, three, two, X minus one... Fire! [Rocket launch SFX] From the far horizons of the unknown come transcribed tales of new dimensions in time and space. These are stories of the future; adventures in which you'll live in a million could-be years on a thousand may-be worlds. The National Broadcasting Company, in cooperation with Street & Smith, publishers of Astounding Science Fiction presents... X Minus One. The series was canceled after the 126th broadcast on January 9, 1958. However, the early 1970s brought a wave of nostalgia for old-time radio; a new experimental episode, "The Iron Chancellor" by Robert Silverberg, was produced in 1973, but it failed to revive the series. NBC also tried broadcasting the old recordings, but their irregular once-monthly scheduling kept even devoted listeners from following the broadcasts. The series was re-released in podcast form beginning on June 22, 2007. In November 2008, Counter-Productions Theatre Company became the first theater company to stage three episodes, "The Parade", "A Logic Named Joe", and "Hallucination Orbit".
