It is with heavy hearts that we present this week's episode as a tribute to Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley. The rock 'n' roll icon, legendary guitar god, and former KISS guitarist, passed away on October 16, 2025, after suffering a fall in his home studio weeks earlier. Kevin has a profound connection to KISS and Ace as a lifelong fan and proud member of the KISS Army. While not an obscure artist by any means (the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer had 10 gold records, 5 multi-platinum records with KISS, and a platinum solo album), the duo tries to share some lesser-known songs, including a few crazy guest appearances. Excuse Kevin's extensive ramblings about the great Space Ace, but this loss was hard, and the tribute is necessary. Ace was a true character, who played a character, and played with character. Richie Stotts in conversation with David Eastaugh https://www.richiestotts.com/ New York City born musician who began writing and performing in a fledgling 1970s NYC band named “The Numbers”. Richie's songwriting skills and lead guitar playing experience ultimately lead to him becoming one of the founding members of the groundbreaking and inimitable punk/metal group, Plasmatics. In 1978, Richie was among the earliest musicians to sport a Mohawk, taking inspiration from the Travis Bickle character in the movie Taxi Driver.

This week Tom & Zeus welcome singer, bassist, songwriter and more, Jean Beauvoir a songwriter and contributor of 5 KISS songs. Jean Beauvoir got his start in music during the punk rock explosion with the Plasmatics as their bass player. He went on to work with some of the biggest names in music, including Bruce Springsteen, Prince and the Ramones. He also became friends with Paul Stanley during the 1980's and he shares many of his wonderful stories with the guys. Jean discusses the KISS songs he co-wrote and the ones he performed on which include, Get All You Can Take, Under The Gun, Thrills In The Night, Who Wants To Be Lonely and Uh! All Night. This week Tom & Zeus welcome singer, bassist, songwriter and more, Jean Beauvoir a songwriter and contributor of 5 KISS songs. Jean Beauvoir got his start in music during the punk rock explosion with the Plasmatics as their bass player. He went on to work with some of the biggest names in music, including Bruce Springsteen, Prince and the Ramones. He also became friends with Paul Stanley during the 1980's and he shares many of his wonderful stories with the guys. Jean discusses the KISS songs he co-wrote and the ones he performed on which include, Get All You Can Take, Under The Gun, Thrills In The Night, Who Wants To Be Lonely and Uh! All Night. Richie Stotts was a founding guitarist of the Plasmatics. Taking inspiration from Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver, he sported an enormous mohawk. Richie would also cross dress in various costumes like a nurse uniform, or a french maid dress. He did this In an effort to keep up with his constantly outrageous bandmate Wendy O. Williams. After leaving the Plasmatics in 1984, Richie pursued a solo career with his band King Flux and then went back to school where he eventually earned a  graduate degree in Geology from Indiana University.  Fun fact, Richie appears in a brief cameo in 9½ Weeks. He is the guy with the blonde mohawk and chainsaw tattoo.
