We all face challenges on our path to success, as much as I wish that I was immune to this phase of entrepreneurship I was not.  https://thankyou.creativeagencysuccess.com/agencyblueprintdownload (To Download Your Free Copy of The International Best Selling Book "The Agency Blueprint" just click this link. ) Many years ago, I took a step back to take a look at my business and my life. And I realized that I'd completely lost sight of what I wanted from my business. I'd fallen into the same trap that so many other small business owners fall into: I felt that I needed to sacrifice my personal life and goals in order to grow the business. After some deep reflection, I realized that the way I ran my business wasn't sustainable. Yes, the business was growing and we provided amazing client services. But I felt that I could massively improve on almost every aspect, which meant I needed to go back to the drawing board. Efficiency was my key focus here. I needed to create systemized processes that allowed me to provide services to clients in a way that didn't completely drain me. These systems would allow me to reclaim my life without damaging the standards of the work that we did. I sat down with a notebook and a pen and just wrote down what I wanted my business to look like. I defined what I wanted my life to be, what I wanted to do, how much money I would need, and what would ultimately make me happy. And in the process of doing that, I outlined the vision that would eventually become the foundation of the business that I have today. I spent the next couple of years making this reimagining of my business a reality. I put processes in place for everything so that I could create repeatable, provable, and sustainable results for clients without burning myself out in the process. I automated services, processes, and even the way that I worked with clients. The impact on my life was huge. I went from working 90 hours per week to working less than 40. And these processes also allow me to work remotely, which means I finally have time for some much-deserved vacations! Ultimately, I designed and created the life that I wanted to lead. I went from my business running my life to my business being in service of my life. That's what I want to help my clients to achieve. Have you ever been thinking about what content you could include in your online program - and you end up feeling completely overwhelmed?   You probably feel like you have a lot of things you want to teach your clients and have a lot of content and concepts that you know can help them. It can feel like a lot! Today, I give you a few tips and strategies that you can use as you're starting to think through your ideas, so you can avoid program content overload.  Here's what I talked about: How every time I ran an online program, it changed (sometimes even right in the middle of the program!) The first thing I advise my clients to do before starting to plan their content (identifying the main problem their client is struggling with will bring a lot of clarity!) Figuring out what problem you're going to solve for your clients (they need your expertise and experience!) The steps for brainstorming your content (it's all about the sticky notes!) My goal is to help you get unstuck and one step closer to developing the online program you've been thinking about! Through understanding the key resource, key activities, and its key partners, the business can determine its available cost structures. When you embrace your role of entrepreneur, you can open up to ideas that may bring you much more money, freedom, and fulfillment. Listen as I go over my favorite three concepts that empowered entrepreneurs use to create and run their businesses. If you own your own business, you already ARE an entrepreneur, but you may not think of yourself that way. Here are 3 concepts to integrate into your ways of doing business.   Concept One: Rock Your Business Model What it means: Your Business Model is the combination of offerings you get paid for in your business. (Not to be confused with a Business Plan.) How you can start using this concept: Brainstorm what kinds of offers you might want to add to your business. Start with this list: Workshop, Online course, Group coaching program, Individual coaching program, Digital product, Group therapy program, Membership community, Retreat, Group practice or therapy center, Something else you’ll cook up.   Concept Two: Test Ideas Early What it means: Before you invest a ton of time, money or energy into an idea, even if it seems like a GREAT idea, you should test it. Create a minimum viable product or minimum viable service. See if anyone wants it, get feedback so you can improve it, and then create the next iteration. Creating an offer is always an iterative process. How you can start using this concept: Let’s say you want to create a multi-lesson course with curriculum. Start by running a workshop and teaching only part of the material. Teach it live. Sell it to a small number of people. Notice what works, ask for feedback, and see whether people get the outcome you were hoping they’d get. If you can’t sell it to anyone, you know you’ve got to make some adjustments and then try again.   Concept Three: Have A Content Strategy What it means: Your content is the stuff you create: articles, social media posts, videos, podcast episodes, insta stories, all of it. Content strategy means having a goal for what you want your content to achieve and a plan that informs what you create, where you deliver it and when you offer it. How you can start using this concept: Decide who your content is for and what you want them to do (which involves paying you). Create the form of content that comes most easily to you. Brainstorm all of the things your future client or customer needs to hear in order to be ready to take action. Start creating content! Show notes at http://rebeltherapist.me/podcast/91
