Breonna Taylor was murdered by police officers who were not held responsible for such. SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST WEEK IT'S HARD TO KEEP UP. Trump refused to condemn white supremacists and told them to "stand by" because he's racist. This ties into everything. Joe Biden is almost NO ONE'S ideal candidate, but not voting for him will continue to let things get worse. It will be bad for so many people. Black lives matter. Intersectional lives matter. VOTE and stay up to date because it's crazy and exhausting. This week we watched our first DCOM from 2004! That's a wrap on the High School Musical franchise (at least until Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure...). Though not perfect, we agree this is a decent end to the HSM stories, but we think we both would've liked it more if it were a DCOM. I didn't mention it in the podcast, but the fact that it wasn't a DCOM made it a little exclusionary. Like this came out in 2008 PRIME RECESSION time and I'm sure plenty of young kids who watched the first 2 movies come out weren't able to see the movie in theaters because it was another expense (DCOMs are already a lil exclusionary because you had to have Disney Channel to watch them, but that kinda feels like another step).
