SAO is a huge franchise that you most likely have some exposure to already, but SAO Progressive is an expanded retelling of the first arc, Aincrad, and the movie is based on that. It also mainly focuses on Asuna, rather than Kirito, as the main POV, which gives the whole thing a fresh new feel. I'm very excited to see how the Progressive movies continue! I enjoyed it, but it definitely has its flaws, that mostly stem from the short 4 episode runtime and fairly common scifi theme. Not the soundtrack by Kevin Penkin though. That was beautiful! I love this wacky time travel story about bath-culture crossing over between ancient Rome and modern-day Japan. It's not only a great comedy, it's a well-researched and quality historical series.
