We're at the end of season 3 and the only thing appropriate I felt to discuss was the commonality of people settling for less than what they WANT. Thank you for listening this season, I can't wait to come back for season 4! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/latinaly/support
Today's episode is blunt, unapologetic, and completely necessary. I am looked at as a lot of things because of my personality and what I say. My vibe is "I said what I said" and that makes me the bad guy because I set numerous boundaries, don't hold my tongue, now tolerate anyone disrupting the peace that I've created. Will I ever change? No. Am I okay being the bad guy? Always. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/latinaly/support

I have often been called cold because I do not attach myself to the issues of others, and many times...my delivery is curt and not so warm. Today's world is full of issues and it seems like someone is always going through something. And whole relatable and understandable, it's also exhausting to be the shoulders in which a lot of people find comfort in resting their problems on. And for a long time I allowed it to take over me. I absorbed their issues and made them my own because of how empathetic I was. Then I realized that those I was there for, weren't showing up for me when I needed it, and most importantly I realized the damage that was doing to myself. So I stopped. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/latinaly/support

It is so easy to compare yourself and your life to the ones you see on social media, we all fall victim to it. But why? It does nothing but cause negative thinking and honestly sets us back. Your journey is yours, life is a long marathon, not a speed race. Sometimes the end goal seems so far away, but everything you're working towards will happen, and you will find yourself only in competition with you - to better yourself mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/latinaly/support
To all my mamas, I know the days are long, and our babies are growing at the speed of light and somehow the days also seem too short. Everything you do does not go unnoticed. All the late nights and early mornings, how we try SO hard to keep the house clean and have everything in order, how you barely have time to brush your teeth in the morning because someone needs you. It never ends, but it's worth it. I put in 8 - 14 hours a day sometimes while I take care of my son, and as difficult as it is, I love it. I do it all for him. Remember to make time for yourself as much as you can, and forgive yourself when you feel you fall short. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/latinaly/support
We work so hard to raise our babies the way we see fit as mothers. I know it takes a village - but that does not mean that other people have a right to your child, nor can they tell you how to raise your baby. But what happens if they try? How can you stop it - how can you prevent it? That's what we talk about on today's episode. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/latinaly/support

Listen, I LOVE to brag about my success, we all do. Not to boast, but because we are proud. Success is a result of countless hours of hard work that no one sees. And I'm the type of person that will always keep my moves quiet - call it superstition OR call it what it is. People don't care about the journey, truthfully people will only look to tear you down while you climb. Hey boo! I know how easy it is to fall into the habit of trying to help everyone, especially when they ask for it! BUT what happens when that person will not take the advice you give - even though they claim it to be right and life saving. FIRST let me disclaim - my in-laws and I are fine, my husband and my family are fine. However, things weren't so smooth and joyous.
