We've heard already this month from Tony who took part in some very long cycling events, Nessie who sells second hand books and Lindsey who was putting on part memorial part fundraising night for her dad Macca. She's a lawyer based in Cyprus and she shares with me her dad's story. He died from Pancreatic Cancer 10 years ago - and you'll hear it was only a fortnight between diagnosis and his death. This short timeframe has left Nicoletta campaigning for more to be done to get an earlier diagnosis and this is the bit that hit home for me - she calls herself a Pancreatic Cancer Activist.     Sometimes pancreatic cancer cases can run in families. Although this is rare there can be a set of genetic conditions which are linked to a higher risk of the disease. Researchers based in Liverpool are hoping to learn more about this and help identify people at a higher risk of pancreatic cancer.
