Cedric Benson - Spent eight years as a running back in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers. He played college football for the Texas Longhorns and won the Doak Walker Award in 2004. Todd Dodge - Football coach and former player, and current head coach at Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin where he played quarterback for the Longhorns, Dodge went into coaching, primarily at the high school level. Brittney Griner - Professional basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury of the Women's National Basketball Association. She is a three-time Olympic gold medalist with the U.S. women's national basketball team and a six-time WNBA All-Star. Ed "Too Tall" Jones - Former professional football player who was a defensive end for 15 seasons for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. In 1979, he left football to attempt a career in professional boxing. Biz Mackey - Catcher and manager in Negro league baseball. He played for the Indianapolis ABCs, New York Lincoln Giants, Hilldale Daisies, Philadelphia Royal Giants, Philadelphia Stars, Washington / Baltimore Elite Giants, and Newark Dodgers/Eagles. Carla Overbeck - Former soccer player who is currently an assistant coach for the Duke Blue Devils women's soccer team. Captain of the United States national team from 1993 to 2000, she helped lead the team to two FIFA Women's World Cups and an Olympic gold medal. Chris Plonsky - urrently part of Texas' chief of staff as executive senior associate AD & SWA. Former UT women's athletics director (2001-2018). While at command for the Longhorns, the women's athletics programs won a total of 3 National Championships and 64 Big 12 Conference Championships Plonsky supervised revenue areas in sponsorship, licensing, and television. Served as past presidents of NACDA, NACMA, and Women Leaders in College Sports. Became the fifth woman in history to serve as NACDA President. Prior to her legacy at the University of Texas, Plonsky worked in roles of public relations and assistant/associate commissioner capacities with the former Big East Conference under Dave Gavitt and Mike Tranghese. Retired board member of the National Football Foundation/College Football Hall of Fame. Richmond Webb - Richmond Jewel Webb is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League with the Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals. Webb played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies. He was selected by the Dolphins as the ninth overall pick in the 1990 NFL draft. Broadcasting veteran Brad Sham has been the “Voice of the Cowboys” for four incredible decades. Debuting in 1976 as a color analyst alongside legendary play-by-play Verne Lundquist, Sham started his pivotal career on the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network. Within eight short years, Sham would take the play-by-play helm and launch one of the team's most celebrated careers of all time. Having won the National Sports Media Association Texas Sportscaster of the Year award eleven times, Sham is part of the sporting institution. Revered amongst peers and critics alike, Sham has also been honored in the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. To this day, Sham is the longest-standing broadcaster with the team. Longtime sports columnist for the Houston Chronicle, John McClain spent the last 40 years covering the NFL. Before his time in Houston, the Waco native graduated from Baylor in 1975, and worked at the Waco Tribune-Herald from 1973 - 1976. In addition to being an inductee in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, the former president of the Pro Football Writers of America also has a plaque in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. McClain is memorialized in Canton, Ohio as the winner of the Dick McCann Memorial Award in 2006. He was also named a Texas Gridiron Legend in 2015, the only other media members who are Gridiron Legends are fellow Texas Sports Hall of Famers Dave Campbell and Mickey Herskowitz. Beyond being honored in multiple halls of fame, McClain also plays a key role in honoring others through those organizations. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Seniors Committee, and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee. Colt McCoy Daniel "Colt" McCoy is an American football quarterback who is a free agent. He played college football for the Texas Longhorns, winning several awards and honors as a senior in 2009 and ranking second all-time in games won by an FBS quarterback. Jackie Sherrill Jackie Wayne Sherrill is an American former college football player and coach. He was the head football coach at Washington State University, the University of Pittsburgh, Texas A&M University, and Mississippi State University, compiling a career head coaching record of 180–120–4. Bubba Thornton Bubba Thornton is a retired track and field coach. He coached Texas Christian University from 1982 to 1995 and served as the Texas Longhorns men's track and field coach at the University of Texas at Austin from 1996 to 2013.

Bob Kendrick Negro League Baseball Museum for Andy Cooper. Bob Kendrick (born 1962) is the President of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) in Kansas City, Missouri. Andrew Cooper nicknamed "Lefty", was an American left-handed pitcher in baseball's Negro leagues. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006. An alumnus of Paul Quinn College, Cooper played nine seasons for the Detroit Stars and ten seasons for the Kansas City Monarchs, and briefly played for the Chicago American Giants. Jamaal Charles is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons, primarily with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played college football for the Texas Longhorns, where he won the 2006 Rose Bowl, and was selected by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2008 NFL draft. Cody Leach for former Head Coach of Texas Tech Mike Leach. Mike Leach was an American college football coach who primarily coached at the NCAA Division I FBS level. Nicknamed "The Pirate," he was a two-time national coach of the year, three-time conference coach of the year and the mastermind behind the NCAA record-setting air raid offense. He was the head coach at Texas Tech University from 2000 to 2009, where he became the winningest coach in school history.
