Nancy's journey began in Aleppo, Syria, where she survived the war before immigrating to Los Angeles with her family. This experience ignited a deep-rooted passion for helping others. Faced with her own medical challenges, Nancy recognized the critical importance of sleep and the scarcity of resources addressing this essential aspect of health, inspiring her to establish End No Sleep. Currently a student at Columbia University, Nancy continues to leverage her education and personal experiences to drive her mission forward. Sabrina is born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Sabrina is an actress, national champion ballroom dancer, and the founder of the Sabrina Schoenberg RES Foundation. Sabrina was one of the first living people in the United States to be diagnosed with RES and GLHS. Sabrina graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a bachelor's degree in acting. Sabrina travels around the world as a competitive ballroom dancer. She has defied several odds, training with some of the top coaches and professionals in the ballroom dance industry, and has become a national and regional ballroom dance champion. When she is not acting, ballroom dancing, and training for the adaptive CrossFit games, she teaches children in the arts. Since Sabrina was a child, it has been her goal to start a foundation to make people more aware of RES, GLHS, and similar silent disabilities. “I want to tell my story and inspire others to go beyond the self-imposed, medically-imposed, or socially-imposed limits that have been set for them. I want others to know that even if the odds are not in your favor and people doubt your ability to do something, you can do whatever you put your mind to and accomplish your dreams.” In May of 2023, Sabrina used her college graduation money to start the Sabrina Schoenberg RES Foundation. “to help students, schools, and communities reach their full potential through the power of making music. In this episode of The Talk of Fame Podcast, we're thrilled to welcome Julian Pavone! Julian is a multi-genre drummer, arranger, producer, and band leader. He has shared the stage with legends such as Omar Hakim in Berklee's 40th Anniversary Signature Showcase, as well as recorded for Berklee's Snarky Puppy Ensemble. He broke the Guinness World Record for "Youngest Professional Drummer" at age 4, and believe it or not, still holds the record today. Julian endorses Vic Firth, Sabian Cymbals, Tycoon Percussion, and Cympad, as well as working with and recommending Fatfreq in-ear monitors. He currently studies Contemporary Writing and Production and Performance at Berklee College of Music and can be found performing in the greater Boston and New York area. Outside of drumming, Julian is also the President and Founder of The Miracle Club, a Berklee club that hosts Battle of the Band competitions for charity. In the club's first series of events, Julian helped raise over $13,000 for Boston Children's Hospital, as well as appearing on Boston 25. Through this opportunity, Berklee students are able to present their artistry and gain exposure while simultaneously supporting a good cause. This year, The Miracle Club will be in support of the Save The Music Foundation, a charity whose mission is “to help students, schools, and communities reach their full potential through the power of making music. Chase Hartman of Tampa, Florida, is a community changemaker and youth leader dedicated to finding solutions to some of the country's toughest challenges. Eighteen-year-old Chase co-founded a non-profit called Eco Brothers and an award-winning book distribution project called “read.repeat.”. Focusing his efforts on improving literacy rates, he's collected and distributed more than 225,000 books and impacted the lives of more than 65,000 students in Hillsborough County, Florida. Chase champions the need for more books-with-diversity and dual language books in local Title-1 schools and has worked to raise more than $150,000 to improve literacy and run environmental projects in his state. Chase enjoys the challenges of leadership opportunities and served as Senior Patrol Leader in Boy Scout Troop 46, where he also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. For the service project required for this respected rank, he designed and planted a butterfly garden at his former elementary school and purchased butterfly habitats for each classroom to learn more about the importance of the declining monarch butterfly. He's attended leadership workshops through Boy Scouts with the National Youth Leadership Training and also at American University with the National Student Leadership Conference. An honor student, Chase attended the American Legion Boys State Conference and received the Samsung Scholarship. Additionally, he has been recognized as a 2024 Coca Cola Scholar, Beta Club Scholar, and National Honor Society Scholarship National Finalist. He is a member of the National Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars and is Co-President of Student Government at his high school. Chase's academic and community service efforts have been recognized by the Dr. Ben Carson Scholar Fund, which has awarded him the position of Carson Scholar. As an actor, Caroline started her acting career at the age of four and started professionally acting at the age of seven. She has co-starred in feature films and numerous short films produced by filmmakers at USC, UCLA, SDSU, Loyola Marymount University, New York Film Academy and Orange County School of the Arts. As a singer, Caroline started performing at just five years of age. Since then, she has written and recorded more than nine original songs. Caroline is working on several projects at the same time. The Talk of Fame Podcast got to chat with Kikko Mai! Kikko Mai is an artist and songwriter from Columbus, Ohio. She writes honest songs about the beautiful and sometimes painfully awkward journey into adulthood, highlighting emotions such as guilt, anxiety, and regret. In 2020, at age fifteen, as a sophomore in high school, she won a statewide songwriting contest called Instaband. The first prize, after being signed to the label Elementary Records, was the recording, production, and release of a five song EP and music video that were released the same year. In 2020 and 2021, Kikko Mai performed individually and with her band at local venues in Columbus such as the Coffman Amphitheater, Skully's Music Diner, the Bogey Inn, and Standard Live. She has also performed at the Ohio Creatives Festival. Her experience includes venues of 400+ people. In 2022, as she was finishing up her senior year of high school, Kikko Mai released her first independent single, “pinky promise”. In the fall of 2022, she moved to Nashville where she is majoring in songwriting and minoring in music business and Spanish at Belmont University. The same year, she released “my mom's minivan” about social anxiety and being a homebody before she went to college. In 2023, Kikko released two singles: “her house” and “rendezvous”. She co-wrote “Rendezvous” with songwriter Hayley Lieberman and songwriter/producer Will Carlson. Also, she opened the Vinyl Lounge for JT Loux and Almost A.M. Now in 2024, Kikko continues to write within the Nashville and Columbus music communities, often using Discord for out-of-state writes. This year, she has performed with her band at Nashville venues such as the End and DrkMttr. In March, she opened EXIT/IN for artist and songwriter Walker Burroughs and headliner Adam Paddock. In April, she released a vulnerable single, “I thought maybe”, about feeling used. In July, Kikko released “GOOD GIRL”, co-written with songwriter/producer Aaron Carlson, about a relationship with a four year age gap. Kikko Mai aims to create a safe space for the girls, the gays, the POC, and anyone that has ever been told that they are weird or that they are too much! Marilyn is the number one selling author for her book series, "In Just One Afternoon - Listening into the hearts of...". Thus far, she has released books about Men, Twins, Millennials, People Impacted by Opioid Addiction and Black Fathers. Future book topics include divorcees, families who have lost children, the greatest generation, and many more. Marilyn believes that the best coaches are those that have lived their own lives, have triumphed, and faced the challenges and opportunities that life has in store. Marilyn also believes that being a great speaker and author takes those same challenges and opportunities. Her experiences have helped her develop a sense of what life means and what is available to us when we are authentic and listen deeply. Marilyn loves to collaborate and partner with colleagues, friends, mentors, and clients. She knows that we achieve the most when we work together. In Marilyn's previous life she taught special education in the public school system, owned a furniture store, and was a marketing and advertising representative for both print and television. Marilyn holds a degree in Communications and Public Address from Syracuse University.
