We're celebrating a huge milestone with Episode 300 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, and a future first ballot Hall of Fame guest in Marc-Andre Fleury. In the feature interview presented by NHL Sense Arena, Fleury shares advice and insights from a 22-season career that began as the No. 1 pick in the 2003 NHL Draft, and finishes second all-time to only Martin Brodeur in games played (1,051) and wins (575), third behind Brodeur and Roberto Luongo in saves (27,188), tied with Ed Belfour and Tony Esposito for 10th in shutouts (76), and as well liked as any goalie to play the game. The three-time Stanley Cup winner has advice for young goalies hoping to follow a path filled with entertaining pokechecks, pad stacks, and the signature smile to match the ones that he put on so the face of so many fans.In the Parent Segment, presented by Stop It Goaltending U the App, we continue the celebratory theme with a look back at some of our favourite advice from past guests, whether it was Roberto Luongo in Episode 1 or Eric Comrie and Connor Hellebuyck making it okay for goalies of all ages to improve their edges at public skates. We also review this week's Pro Reads, presented by Vizual Edge, which features Joey Daccord of the Seattle Kraken breaking down a high tip option and some of the positional and skating keys to best manage it.And in our weekly gear segment, we go to The Hockey Shop Source for Sports to look at the new Warrior Ritual X5 chest protector -- both the Pro and RTL models -- with a new camo-themed look and some exciting new features.

A steamy one today with high temps near 90°!!!!!!! We recapped last night's beatdown of the Brewers, and took a look ahead to week 2 in the NFL which kicks off tonight with Bills/Dolphins. Check out this corn maze in Indiana made to look like Caitlin Clark! Great story about a bunch of students who bought the custodian at their school a brand new car! And apparently, the younger generation is switching back to flip-phones because they're too stressed out by their smartphones. Brian found out that Soul Coughing is going to be at the Palace Theater on the 24th, but the VIP tickets are sold out and the GA tickets are all on the secondary market already. We talked about Reggie Bush almost getting robbed recently, and we talked about a guy in Spain who is a professional "Wedding Destroyer" Can't go wrong with an ice-cold chocolate milkshake today with the heat…not to mention it's "National Chocolate Milkshake Day"! Did you see former NHL goalie, Roberto Luongo, filling in for a beer-league hockey team recently? Dude! How cool would that be??? Went over a list of some of the common sleep mistakes we make...and during today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a cruise ship that hit an iceberg, a teen that got shot in the face, a training dummy that was mistaken for a drowning victim, a naked woman who took a shower & a bath in a couple's home, a guy who tried to keep his car from being repossessed, someone keeps peeing in Dollar Tree candles, and a guy who had penile ossification. In this episode I interview another ex-NHLer and Canuck legend – Eddie "The Stork" Läck. Eddie signed with the Vancouver Canucks as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Over the next two seasons, he refined his skills with their AHL affiliates, initially with the Manitoba Moose and later with the Chicago Wolves. His big break came in October 2013 when he earned a spot on the NHL roster, serving as backup to Roberto Luongo. Eddie swiftly endeared himself to fans, not only with his exceptional goaltending but also with his infectious and often comical personality. Today, that same charisma defines his role as a realtor and fuels his mischievous antics on Twitter. Thank you so much for watching, listening, commenting and engaging with the content I've created all season. I'm not going anywhere so stay tuned! - Nuckhead
Jeff and Elliotte dive into the coaching change in St. Louis that saw Craig Berube lose his job as the head coach of the Blues. They also talk about the comments made afterwards by Jordan Kyrou and the sour reception he received Thursday night from Blues fans. Jeff and Elliotte also talk about Roberto Luongo being inducted into the Canucks' Ring of Honour and the whole night that went with it (17:35). They dove into Toronto's comeback against the Blue Jackets, only to fall short in OT (23:25). They talk Chris O'Hearn parting ways with the Minnesota Wild and what they have been able to put together so far (31:40). Elliotte provides an update on Shane Pinto's return to play with the Ottawa Senators (36:09), and gives his thoughts on the NHL's revamped Skills Competition at this season's All Star Weekend (48:08). They wrap the podcast by talking about Sidney Crosby's MVP calibre season thus far (1:08:11).The guys answer your questions in the Montana's Thought Line (51:52).Audio Credits: Bally Sports Midwest Email the podcast at 32thoughts@sportsnet.ca or call the Montana's Thought Line at 1-833-311-3232 and leave us a voicemail. This podcast was produced and mixed by Dominic Sramaty and hosted by Jeff Marek and Elliotte Friedman. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.
Jeff and Elliotte kick off the show recapping Roberto Luongo's induction to the Canucks Ring of Honour last night and his most memorable quotes, before getting into his presence on Twitter and the trade to the Maple Leafs that never happened. Next, they discuss Steven Stamkos having his first 4-goal game last night in Edmonton, what the numbers and the eye test both say about Alexander Ovechkin's goal drought, and the craziness of the Blue Jackets-Leafs game last night. To wrap up this week, Jeff and Elliotte forecast who will start for the Leafs on Saturday night and react to Patrik Laine's latest injury amidst a nightmarish season. TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun joined OverDrive to discuss the buzz around Chris Tanev, the price point for Tanev, why the Maple Leafs are a suitor in the sweepstakes, the Capitals' potential arena move to Virginia, the dismissal of Craig Berube and the next steps for the Blues, Roberto Luongo joining the Canucks Ring of Honour and more.
Hour 2 on the Thursday edition with Bryan Hayes, Jonas Siegel and Michael DiStefano. TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun stops by to discuss the buzz around Chris Tanev, why the Maple Leafs are a suitor, the price point for Tanev, Roberto Luongo joining the Canucks' Ring of Honour, Craig Berube's dismissal and the Capitals' potential arena move to Virginia. Then, Hayes, Siegel and Al's Brother breakdown Auston Matthews' impressive goal scoring this season and his opportunity to win the Rocket Richard , where he sits on the all-time list for the Leafs, what quantifies the status of being the greatest in a franchise and Toronto's most notable athletes.
On this episode, the boys are joined by one of our funniest guests ever, long-time NHL goalie and current TSN analyst and color commentator, Jamie McLennan. Backing up guys like Ron Hextall, Grant Fuhr, Roberto Luongo, and many more, “Noodles” has had a front-row seat to some incredible scenes. He talks to us about getting caught eating a hotdog on the bench during a game, pissing off Chris Pronger multiple times, his slash on Johan Franzén which (sort of) ended his NHL career, and much more. Before the interview, the boys get into some nonsensical Patrick Kane rumors, how the Blues will do this season, and much more. Hockey is still a few weeks away, but we have one of our funniest guests ever to fill the time. Enjoy Jamie McLennan on this edition of the Cam & Strick Podcast.
