Salty Dog Day is quickly approaching. The polls are open and its time to elect the new salty dog major of St. Andrews. The 6th Annual Salty Dog Day event, celebrating all things dog in Salty St. Andrews, will be held Saturday, February 26, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. This dog-friendly event will be an extension of The Market at St. Andrews with proceeds benefiting Operation Spay Bay. Socks, the current Salty Dog Mayor of St. Andrews will greet visitors to the Market, and will announce the new winner of the Salty Dog Mayor's Contest. Award-winning author Robert Sawyer dreamed of a career in science, but was discouraged by the state of Canadian research in the 1970s. So he decided to write science fiction instead. It’s WrestleMania weekend! I hope you’re excited!
