WWE had been gearing up for what they were hoping would be the biggest Wrestlemania in history after the announcement that the show would be at AT&T Stadium in front of a projected crowd of 100,000. Those hopes were put under threat however when in the Autumn, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Sting and Randy Orton were all stricken by injury that would put them out of action for the big event. This led to a main event over the WWE Title between Triple H and Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar taking on Dean Ambrose and Shane McMahon returning to the company to battle Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this time by Old Man, Matt and Tinky.

Hello and welcome to another episode of The Lawcast. This time our hosts cover Wrestlemania 32, a show that could charitably be described as a debacle. WWE is suffering through a rough patch as the dreams of the year before have largely turned to nightmares. John Cena is hurt, Daniel Bryan is retired, Seth Rollins is out. Their planned card is reshuffled, and only Shane McMahon can come to save the day.

Shane "Hurricane" Helms has plenty to say about being a heel, a babyface, and a tweener (and he's talking to you, Darth Vader). He's adapted to the changing business, the presentation of the product, the ring style of his various gimmicks, and what it means to bring "the gaga." He has a best body of work, a favorite character, and insight into his relationship with Vince McMahon. Shane's also sharing thoughts on WWE's Backlash event and Jinder Mahal's future, along with a few words of wisdom for Charlotte Flair!
Shane McMahon visited 317 Gimmick Street, and talked to Steve about his incredible dive from atop the cage in his match against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32, what it was like traveling down the road with Don Muraco and Roddy Piper, hanging out with Andre The Giant, being Commish of Smackdown, and his relationship with his father, Vince McMahon. Wade Keller returns to break down the WWE "Payback" PPV with Steve, and wow! This analysis and review just might surprise you! First up, Enzo & Big Cass and the latest on Enzo's concussion injury! Steve spoke to him after it happened, and you'll hear what Enzo told him. Then, it's on to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Did they really have a main event worthy match in the second position on the card? And what about Charlotte and Natalya, and Ric Flair and Bret Hart?! Music speaks almost as loudly as these two women did in the match! Skills. Chris Jericho & Dean Ambrose delivered the unexpected, and maybe just maybe, The Miz laid down one the best matches of his career. You'll also get some thoughts on the McMahon show down, Ziggler's job, and the match between AJ Styles and Roman Reigns.
RIP WWE legend Chyna, music icon Prince, and one of the greatest guitarists to ever play the instrument, Lonnie Mack. Steve shares some personal stories about Chyna, and then answers your wrestling questions. He's talking Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Dusty Rhodes, and the great gift he got from Vince McMahon.
Easton Corbin, one of Steve's favorite country singers, rolled through LA and found himself tossing back a cold one at 316 Gimmick Street. He's talking musical heroes, life on the road, calling audibles onstage, and why he won't be caught dead in skinny jeans. Easton's an avid hunter too, and shares a few deer stories of his own. Plus, you'll find out why he hasn't washed his truck in over 2 years, and if you listen real carefully, you might even hear he and Steve sing a song or two.
Cards on the table, this isn't a review of the WWE's latest supershow in our usual match-by-match style. Instead, Adam and Stewart discuss their experiences in Dallas and the week's festivities while we stick "NXT Takeover: Dallas" on in the background as Paul hadn't seen it. It's Episode 60 of 'The New Generation Project Podcast' and for the very first time we spend an entire show discussing modern wrestling as we talk "Wrestlemania 32"! Featuring; pretty much everything you wanted us to cover, Paul takes over as host, we talk through ice hockey, Wrestlecon, Evolve, the WWE shop, Axcess, Takeover and the 2016 Hall of Fame, Horse-Riding with Mark Henry, Roman Reigns possibly gets booed, Adam does 'that' with his hand, Hunstanton Pier, many incorrect pronunciations of various names, everyone loves Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura, snore-gate, plenty of raw booze, Denny's Bacon Maple Sundae, Bob Backlund takes our e-mail addresses, a stupid mushroom tattoo and Adam finds a new favourite diva. Plus the answers to the questions; which is better - Mars or Snickers? Was the travel package good value for money? How did Adam like Hooters? Exactly how awesome is American food? Who had the best acceptance speech? Did anyone at all show up to The Ginger Man? How was 'The Dallas of South-West England'? Did we actually get into "Wrestlemania"? What was the best match of the weekend? What is Paul's new catchphrase? Did we meet Richard Queree? Do they sell imitation Lemsip in Dallas? How do you compare Zack Sabre Jr to Ronnie O'Sullivan? And was D'Lo Brown there?
Enzo Amore and Big Cass return to the Steve Austin Show with road stories, Kevin Owens stories, and plenty of singing! Yeah... singing. Enzo's telling shoot & work tales about his wheelchair, his previous career as an East Coast DJ, why he's drinking merlot these days, and what he was doing with the Kardashians this past weekend. And Big Cass shares his philosophy on social media, whiskey, and why Enzo's injury was the best thing that ever happened to Big Cass.

Big Show and Steve Austin are at it again, and this time, they ain't gotta worry about the language! They cracked open a couple of cold Broken Skull IPAs at the Fairmont in Dallas, Texas, and shot the shit on Wrestlemania 32, all the injuries plaguing the WWE & why that's NOT a problem come Sunday, John Cena, the NXT Movement, three hours of RAW, why there are no true heels in the business anymore, Big Show's trouble with suits & ties, the "Shine, Heat, Comeback, Finish" psychology, Donald Trump, iPhones, and a little Jack Daniels history.
Carolyn and Karma (with a little help from The Producer) take almost two hours to discuss this year's Wrestlemania event! NXT Takeover Dallas sneaks its way in there... They also chat briefly about Aztec Warfare II, Shane risking his Life on RAW and Ambrose on Total Divas. Oh, and Hats are the new Pokemon.

Of all the important moments we've covered in looking at nearly 4 years of WWF action, there is perhaps none more vital than when Bret 'The Hitman' Hart and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin waged war in a Submission Match in Chicago, Illinois on March 23rd, 1997. In Episode 59 of 'The New Generation Project Podcast' we break down "Wrestlemania 13". Featuring; your suggestions for song parodies about wrestlers, full introductions for Ken Shamrock, The New Blackjacks and Chyna, the kitchen sink, Ahmed Johnson joins The Legion Of Doom, a seminal sign makes its debut, The Iron Sheik applies a Camel Clutch, Sunny and Sable suspiciously don't appear, Marc Mero faces everyone, Tony Atlas does nothing, PG-13 get murdered while Marlena mildly avoids it, more great kids theme tunes, matches with no logical build and some matches with nearly a year's build. Plus the answers to the questions; What changes were made to the card? Is Sid over? Do cats have noses? Who was supposed to be the sole female member of the nWo? Who ran over whom and why? Which performer gets the longest entrance on the show? What Radiohead albums does Adam like? How could you make Vince like Furnas & LaFon more? Who is the Captain of the team? Who was supposed to get their head shaved? And where is considered to be the "Dallas of South-West Britain"? Speak to you after "Wrestlemania 32"!
The Freebirds are going into the WWE Hall of Fame during Wrestlemania weekend, and no one has better Freebirds stories than Diamond Dallas Page! He's sharing some of his favorites with Steve. Plus, Ted Fowler returns with drunken tales from a Mexican jail, what it means to "throw some leg," the best way to combat chiggers, and his love-hate (but mostly love) relationship with golf.
It's part 2 with Vince Russo who's not shy about expressing his thoughts on what's wrong with today's pro-wrestling product! But don't worry, he's got equally strong opinions on how to fix it! Plus, he shares his take on the plight of Roman Reigns, why concussions have become such an issue, and how come finishes like the DDT are getting lost in the squared circle. You'll also hear the details on why Vince Russo was fired for a second time at WWE back in 2002, what effect he thinks the MMA is having on the pro-wrestling audience, and just how out of touch Vince McMahon may be with the fans.
Vince Russo is weighing in on the return of Shane-O-Mac to WWE - what he liked about it, what he did not, and what he would change if he could. He also has plenty of thoughts on character development, the art and importance of a good vignette, and what he feels is the biggest mistake that WWE is making right now. He's also got details on his latest endeavor, vincerussobrand.com, and a legit offer for Mr. Vince McMahon!

Episode 46 deals with Shane McMahon's shocking return to WWE and his even more shocking match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32, a night which will also feature Brock Lesnar versus Dean Ambrose as well as the main event of Triple H versus Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Wade Keller is back to dissect the Fastlane PPV with Steve, and there seems to be a theme to this one, but not necessarily one that WWE was going for... can you say #NoSell? What about #CuriousFinish? Or maybe #QuestionableFiller? How 'bout a plain ole #WTF? There were some high notes too, a favorite match, some damn fine mic work, and a definite #POP in the building. But who are all the favorable comments for? Dean Ambrose? Roman Reigns? Chris Jericho? Brock Lesnar? The Wyatt Family? Edge and Christian? Sasha Banks? Charlotte and Ric Flair? Golddust and R Truth? Give a listen and find out!
Wade Keller returns to talk about Daniel Bryan's retirement, Titus O'Neil's suspension and whether or not race had anything to do with the decision, the debut & subsequent booking of AJ Styles, and all the injuries that have decimated the WWE lineup, and what it means for the road to Wrestlemania 32 in Texas. Who will take on Triple H? Will it be Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose or Brock Lesnar? And what about The Undertaker? What does The Rock's return mean for Roman, and how should Kevin Owens be utilized? And then there's the whole question of "Baywatch" and someone falling off a surfboard, and being eaten by a Great White shark... what?!?
Wade Keller of PWTorch.com fame breaks down the WWE "TLC" Pay-Per-View with Steve Austin. Hear their take on the Usos opening match, Lana & Rusev, Ryback, Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger, the 8-man tag team elimination match & why Bubba Ray Dudley was the key to it all, Ric Flair's appearance, Charlotte & Paige, and Sheamus vs Roman Reigns. Steve also has a special shout-out for Triple H & Stephanie McMahon, and a prediction for what might happen at Wrestlemania 32 in Texas.
