In this episode, we say goodbye to 2023 and I'm bringing along five amazing artists to help me do just that! Saloon Singer Christopher Collette is a fresh face on the New York cabaret and nightclub scene. His most recent show, “Come Fly with Me: Songs of Travel, Trips, Tours & Treks” was an acclaimed success at The Laurie Beechman Theater in November. A classical pianist by training, he stepped out from behind the keyboard and took center stage in 2018 with his debut performance “This Could be the Start of Something Big: A Saloon Singer is Born” at the Beechman. Subsequent shows took the old-school crooner to Palm Springs, California where he staged multiple productions that celebrated the enduring tunes from the extensive catalogue of the Great American Songbook and America musical theater. Previously, Collette headlined at the Beechman with his revue of Stephen Sondheim's works, “Old Friends: Merrily Rolling Along in the Meanwhile.” Additionally, this past summer he mounted a workshop reading of Kander & Ebb's songbook, “One Good Break” and has been a guest at Jim Caruso's “Cast Party” at Birdland. He studies voice with Neal Harrelson-Keyes and has participated in master classes with Marilyn Maye, Faith Prince, and Alex Rybeck Prince Fleet was born in Akron Ohio where he started his show business career at the age of 5 singing with a local orchestra. Fleet went on to appear in many musicals at the Goodyear Musical Theater. Prince Fleet Easton: Was born in Akron, Ohio where he made his singing debut at the age of 5. Soon after he began his show business career by appearing in many Broadway musical productions at the Equity Goodyear Musical Theater. He has an extensive background in dance, acting and singing. He studied at American Ballet Theater, Ballet Arts and took master classes at the world-renowned Julliard School.  Now living in Palm Springs, California Fleet has devoted his spare time appearing for many benefits, believing that you must give back to move forward. Fleet worked for several years with the 'Well In The Desert' feeding the homeless and those in need of a hot meal.  He has performed on the 'Joey English TV Show' 'Joey English Radio Show' 'Eye On The Desert' and 'KMIR 6 Morning Show' 'Pink Lady Presents' just to name a few. On February 2008 he sang with 'Musical Chairs'. In 2007 Fleet joined the cast and became one of the stars of the Bella Da Ball Cabaret Dinner Show and was with them for 8 years. He has been the soloist and musical director for 'Innerfaith Spiritual Center Worldwide now for 12 years. In 2008 Fleet won the Desert Idol competition for Palm Springs California. On June 7th 2009 Fleet made his debut as one of the 'National Anthem' singers for the Palm Springs Powerball Baseball team and now is a spokesperson for them. He has also sung the National Anthem for the Empire Polo Club in Indio California. While living in Florida Fleet was a 'National Anthem' singer for Micheal Jordan's Blue Ducks Basketball Team and the Florida Marlin's Baseball Team. On December 9th. 2016 Prince Fleet received the 407th Star on the 'Palm Springs Walk Of Stars'. On April 22nd. 2017 Fleet received the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' again from the White house along with acknowledgements from the United States Congress, the United States Senate and from the California Senate and the California Congress. In 2018 Prince Fleet Easton received the 'Presidents Choice Entertainer Of The Year' in Hollywood California from the Southern California Motion Picture Council. In January of 2018 he once again received the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' from the White House.Prince Fleet can soon be seen in the feature film 'Hashtag Blessed' and heard in the soundtrack of the movie. Bonnie Mathis was a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre and a soloist with the Harkness Ballet and also performed with many modern companies, namely the Lar Lubovitch Company, the Paul Taylor Company, the Paul Sanasardo Company, the Norman Walker Company, and the Nederlands Dans Theatre. Antony Tudor and Maggie Black where her primary teachers while at the Juilliard School and through her performing career as well as Benjamin Harkarvy and David Howard during her time at the Harkness Ballet.She was part of the dance community of Minneapolis from 1980 to 2005, initially teaching ballet for the Minnesota Dance Theater, the University of Minnesota, and the Northwest Ballet and in 1989 co-creating Ballet Arts Minnesota.The City Children's Nutcracker was created by Ballet Arts Mn. in 1990 in collaboration with the Minneapolis Park Board. It included dancers from the University of Minnesota and the local dance community as well as guest artists from Dance Theater of Harlem, the Twin Cities Youth Symphony, and choreographers such as Danny Buraczeski and Danny Ezralow. She also created Springboard Dance, a program that gave the advanced dancers at Ballet Arts an opportunity to perform cameo works by local and nationally known choreographers.From 2005-2009 Bonnie joined the Boston Ballet to direct the Boston Ballet II, and facilitated their performances in the Boston area and abroad.In addition to teaching and coaching dancers, she also created ballets for the Juilliard Dance Ensemble, Boston Ballet II, the Boston Lyric Opera, the Boston Conservatory, as well as many self-produced concerts in Minneapolis supported by grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board. In 1990 she received a Jerome Foundation Travel-Study grant to observe the San Francisco Ballet training and outreach program in the public schools. Bonnie worked in tandem with Martine van Hamel at the Kaatsbaan International Dance Center in New York State for the initial 15 years of the organization and is presently enjoying the dependable sunshine of the Southwest in Tucson, Arizona.

Today's guest is Stefanie Batten Bland. Jerome Robbins awardee, Stefanie is an interdisciplinary global artist who interrogates contemporary and historical culture. She situates her work at the intersection of dance-theatre and installation. She is a 2021 commissioned artist by Baryshnikov Arts Center, Duke Performances, 2021 Toulmin Creator fellow Center for Ballet Arts at NYU, and 2019-2020 choreographer for American Ballet Theatre's inaugural Women's Movement Initiative. She created Company SBB in Paris in 2008 and established it in New York City in 2011, when she was in residency at Baryshnikov Arts Center and began her current residence at University Settlement. Brenda Way received her early training at the School of American Ballet and Ballet Arts in New York City. She is the founder and artistic director of ODC/Dance and creator of the ODC Theater and ODC Dance Commons, community performance and training venues in San Francisco's Mission District. She launched ODC and an inter-arts department at Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music in the late 1960's before relocating to the Bay Area in 1976.

Miss Parramore is a graduate of New World School of the Arts and The Hartt School in Hartford, CT where she received a Bachelors in Fine Arts. She has toured the United States as a principle dancer with DunDu Dole West African Ballet in her youth and stared in the Chocolate Nutcracker as ‘Claire' and ‘The Dream Princess”. She has performed works by Martha Graham, Jose Limon, Doug Varone, Norbert DeLaCruz, Manuel Vignoulle, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Bryan Arias, and Stephen Pier. Miss Parramore has been accepted into various summer workshops such as Dance Theater of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Martha Graham Dance Company, RIOULT, and White Mountain Dance Festival. He has appeared in several plays in Palm Springs and Los Angeles. He has also performed at several events in the Menifee area over the years. He is a seasoned entertainer born in Akron, Ohio. He began his show business career by appearing in many musical productions at the Goodyear Musical Theater. He has an extensive background in dance, acting and singing. He studied at American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Arts and took master classes at the world-renowned Julliard School. He has toured nationall, and has also been in several plays  Since being in California he has become one of the stars of the Cabaret there and won the Desert Idol competition in 2008. He is a sought out performer because he is amazing.Fleet also volunteers for many non profits like "Well In The Desert" an organization  in Palm Springs providing hot meals for those in need.  Fleets believes, that to move forward in life you must give back and do all you can with what you have where you are. Even though he is performing in Palm Springs that night he is making time to perform (sings &dances) at our event. We are also  excited to have him be part of this wonderful event. Julia Erickson Julia Erickson, originally from Seattle, is a Principal Dancer with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. She is also the creator and co-owner of Barre-Real Food Bars, alongside Aaron Ingley. You may also recognize Julia from Gaynor Minden pointe shoe ads. Julia began her training at age seven in Level 1 at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. She continued training on scholarship at PNBS and later at San Francisco Ballet School. She toured to Europe and Asia with PNB and danced with the Fort Worth Dallas Ballet for two seasons, prior to joining Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in 2001. As creator of Barre, Julia has a second career with partner and co-owner Aaron Ingley. Stemming from a rigorous rehearsal schedule for Swan Lake in Spring 2010, Julia sought a better in-between rehearsal snack. At home in her kitchen, she created just that. She shared them with other dancers receiving rave reviews. Soon she and Aaron found themselves in the role of entrepreneurs with a growing snack bar business. Aaron Ingley Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Aaron studied musical theater at Young Actors Theater before beginning ballet training at age 13 with Southern Academy of Ballet Arts and Tallahassee Ballet. Aaron completed his professional training at Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle, where he performed with that company at the 1999 Edinburgh Festival and the 2000 Hong Kong Festival. He was also featured as Tom Snout in PNB's production of George Balanchine A Midsummer Night's Dream produced for television by the BBC. Aaron performed professionally with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre for nine seasons. A versatile dancer, Aaron was featured in numerous classical and contemporary roles and served as the company's Principal Character Artist during that time. In addition to performing and teaching ballet, Aaron is a professional actor and recently completed degrees in History and Management at University of Pittsburgh. A consummate innovator, Aaron pushes the boundaries, helping expand the ways in which art is conceptualized and defined. Aaron is an avid cyclist and as co-owner of Barre, enjoys creating delicious, healthy snacks in the kitchen with Julia.
