Kathrrine Setzer is known as Katherine the Great! She has had a lifelong love with the subject of Art since the age of four years old drawing and designing clothes for her Barbie dolls. High school through college, she chose to sculpt clay making such challenging sculptures as Egyptian masks, life-size head of an African woman, recirculating Egyptian pool/bath of the Great Sphinx, and other creative items. Then sketching, life drawing, painting, collage work, stage design, stage makeup and making costumes; apprenticing for the Arizona State Treater Department and the Arizona Ballet Costume Department.  Then making a ”copy” of Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco’s wedding gown with a skirt improvement (making a both the long skirt of the gown with a change of an additional short skirt for dancing) for her to wear at her own wedding. The major influences upon Katherine’s flare for design came from her Mother and in turn, from her Grandmother.  Tutoring with foreign-born fashion designer, Galina, also professor at Phoenix College taught her the art of draping, tailoring, stitchery, etc. Arizona State College and Northern Arizona University has given her the degrees in, Fashion Design; Fashion Merchandising and French. Katherine’s forte comes by way of the “Century Marks” loving the Egyptian, Renaissance, Victorian Eras then rounding it out with the 1900’s through the 1940’s, and now modern day bringing the love and joy of beautiful papers, design, style, brilliance, paint, finite cutting style using both scissors and a die cutting machine to collage images of love and joy to the recipient of her beautiful cards and paper items. Joan Wakeland-Taylor is the Director of the Hemet and Riverside, CA, affiliate of the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), and she has dedicated herself to the networks and the success of her NAFE/GSFE members. Joan was born in Jamaica, West Indies and graduated in 1964 as a pharmacist from the University of Technology in Jamaica, West Indies, and then she owned and operated three pharmacies there. After moving to the U.S., she spent many years in the corporate world where she made presentations on a daily basis to doctors and pharmacists, nurses and other medical personnel She is also is currently a sales representative for a Medical device machne that is changing lives. Ingrid was born & raised in Vienna, Austria. She was modeling throughout Europe, did a play in Vienna, & had some small parts in a couple of movies until she moved to New York at age 30, where she got married. After being a wife for 17 years she realized that she had given up her identity and needed to start all over again. She moved to Los Angeles in 1996 managing the back office for a dentist, moved on to Family Ford downtown & after a couple years ended up in Real Estate, also managing a couple of buildings. Starting in 2008 she participated in the Senior Games for 4 years in track & field earning a bronze and a silver for California. Nationwide, she came in 6th and 7th. During the years of rigorous training she finally connected to the physical pain her father afflicted on her. She was abused by her father when he first set eyes on her at age 3. Her saving grace was that he passed away when she was almost 18 and she felt free. Lori Brown-Wirth retired in 2018 from the University of Wyoming to write her memoirs.  Lori had her 2-year old son stolen and taken to Iran during the infamous Iranian hostage crisis in 1980, and later worked with Nicaraguan refugees in Costa Rica. At a later point of despair in her life, she turned to drugs and alcohol for solace. She soon discovered recovery, and went on to fulfill lifelong goals, work with teenagers helping them to prepare for college, and eventually aid in the return of her long-lost son. The book details these events and discusses her journey from a shy, insecure young girl in an abusive relationship, to the strong, confident, and caring woman she is today. He has appeared in several plays in Palm Springs and Los Angeles. He has also performed at several events in the Menifee area over the years. He is a seasoned entertainer born in Akron, Ohio. He began his show business career by appearing in many musical productions at the Goodyear Musical Theater. He has an extensive background in dance, acting and singing. He studied at American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Arts and took master classes at the world-renowned Julliard School. He has toured nationall, and has also been in several plays  Since being in California he has become one of the stars of the Cabaret there and won the Desert Idol competition in 2008. He is a sought out performer because he is amazing.Fleet also volunteers for many non profits like "Well In The Desert" an organization  in Palm Springs providing hot meals for those in need.  Fleets believes, that to move forward in life you must give back and do all you can with what you have where you are. Even though he is performing in Palm Springs that night he is making time to perform (sings &dances) at our event. We are also  excited to have him be part of this wonderful event. Robbie Moss Manning, known in the Entertainment world as “Just Robbie,” has a lifetime of experience in the Performing Arts. She began acting at the ripe age of 3, and took up ballet, jazz and acrobatics at the age of 4. She performed for years on the stage, and began her singing career in her early teens.   Her passion for acting led her to roles in live theater,film and television. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from Pepperdine University.   Robbie has acted as Executive Producer for major stage productions, and held the title of Musical Theater Director for a professional dance company. She was employed by Disney as a Story Analyst, and has worked as a Story Editor on a variety of books and film scripts. She has been a professional songwriter for 6 feature films, numerous stage productions, television and radio.   Throughout the years, she has had the extreme privilege of performing for royalty and dignitaries across the globe, at major events and private functions. Her love of the theater continues today, as she sings and performs on a regular basis. She also enjoys her role as a performance coach, mentoring the next generation to catch the “theater bug.”   Robbie’s current project is a culmination of her life’s work, and she states that it is the greatest challenge and most exciting endeavor to date. Conference Co-Producer & MC/Entertainer Robert "Hollywood" Moreno is a Co-Host, Master of Ceremonies, Performer, Producer & Featured Guest Speaker as well as the co-producer again for this years SuccessUp nafe Women’s conference.  A veteran of Film, Television & Stage, Robert enjoys being a Co-Host and MC for the Celebrity Red Carpet Events. He has MC’d the last 8 nafe CA Women's Conferences Robert has lived and performed all over Europe, his favorite home has always been southern California. He started an event Production company with some partners that included Limousine Tours to Fantasy locations along with escorting groups on Luxury Cruises. He also lived on the Big Island in Kona, Hawaii working with many resorts there. He later went to St Thomas and the Virgin Islands. While there he was filming Weekend at Bernies II as a featured dancer and character actor. The Island tour got extended for about a year while he was performing on The Bold and The Beautiful Soap Opera. After a few months filming was completed and he stayed on for a time to work with the Tourist and Film Division in St Thomas, along with some of the wonderful cruise lines. Mondays  show where Joan was a guest had many challenges she could not hear me and I could not hear her so we are rescheduling the show to Wednesday October 31st Joan Wakeland-Taylor was born in 1941 in Jamaica West Indies.  She graduated in 1964 as a Pharmacist from the University of Technology in Jamaica West Indies and owned and operated 3 Pharmacies in Jamaica. Things were scary in 1977 and she feared for her son’s life as well as her own so she migrated to New Jersey with only $50.00 for her and $50.00 for her son as that is all that was allowed to take out of the country.  They stayed in New Jersey for 6 weeks and then came to California She could not get a job as a Pharmacist in the US so she became a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and worked for several companies, In 1990 she became a Senior Medical Representative and  joined AstraZeneca in September 2000 and retired in 2014.. She raised her son  on her own by working hard while at the same time being a role model as a mother.  She put him through college and they are both successful today. One of her greatest thrills is that is now a grandmother. Joan was a member of my Menifee Nafe and two years stepped into the Director slot of the Riverside Nafe network.
