We kick off another Inside Music Row with the mention of Toby Keith as his "I Love This Bar and Grill" restaurant has launched a new weekly event that honors his latest hit "Red Solo Sup."  The new "Red Solo Cup Ladies Night" will feature Red Solo Cup drink specials at the bar inside Harrah's Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.  We also mention Katie Armiger as she has been voted Country Weekly's Hottest Bachelorette for a second year in a row.  Miranda Lambert is mention next as she is set to host her fifth annual "Cause For The Paws" benefit June 22nd in Beaumont, Texas - proceeds will benefit here "Mutt-nation Foundation."  Also, we mention BamaJam as the lineup is just about set for this four-day experience.  Look for Kid Rock, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Sheryl Crow, Jamey Johnson, and many more.  Finally, we go Inside the Song with Sheree Austin as she talks about the song "If I Was A Woman" she co-wrote with Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton.

The BamaJam Music and Arts Festival is going on this week in Enterprise, Alabama.  Putting on a show like this takes tons of hard work and preparation to be ready for fifty artists or groups, which this year includes Kenny Chesney and Hank Williams, Jr.  We sat down with the executive director of the event to see what it takes to put a show like this in motion.

The Grascals are one of bluegrass music’s most awarded groups.  Their fan base grew exponentially after heading out on the road with Hank Williams, Jr., Eric Church and Jamey Johnson for Hank’s Rowdy Friends Tour.  We caught up with them as they got set to release their latest album ‘The Famous Lefty Flynns.’

BamaJam is getting ready for its third annual festival, and the lineup couldn’t be better.  This is one of Kenny Chesney’s few live appearances this year.  Situated in a 1200 acre peanut field in South Alabama, this music and entertainment festival is on the fast track to becoming one of the biggest and best events in the Southeast. This year’s BamaJam is scheduled for June third through the fifth…the week before CMA week here in Nashville.

Artists that have been around the block a few times know that music is only part of a career in business. There are many opportunities to align themselves with projects they support.  When Ronnie Gilley approached artists such as George Jones, Lorrie Morgan, and Kix Brooks to come to Enterprise, Alabama, it was an easy sell with the construction of Country Crossings... a new country music extravaganza in the neighboring county, and BamaJam, a hot new music festival in Early June. We headed south to see what the buzz is all about.

Country Crossings is soon to be one of the largest country music entertainment extravaganzas in the world.  Phase one is scheduled to be complete in December, but we got a sneek peak at the progress when we flew down to Dothan, Alabama, with George Jones, and Lorrie Morgan to check in with the developer.  Between Country Crossings, a country music-themed  residential commmunity, and Bamajam, Ronnie Gilley has his hands full. It looks like a great destination for the whole family.
