Ben says it's like the “gift that keeps on giving”. Architecture you can eat - It sounds like something out of a Willy Wonka movie. That's exactly what Dr Joshua Zeunert from UNSW Built Environment is recommending to bring us back in touch with food production in our daily lives. Straight away, the mind wanders to candy worlds where you can take a bite out of a load-bearing beam, but it's a little more civilised than that. It's about engaging with nature in more practical ways. Dr Zeunert says there are mental and physical and health benefits without compromising on design. He joins John Stanley and Ben Malouf to unpack how edible public spaces can improve our lives. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
