Who are you? Who were you before? Who will you become? Before Agent X, before the Nemesis, Jared Blinsky was so moved by the events of 9/11 that in 2002 he created the annual Ride for Pride that has been taking place in central Ohio ever since. It's primary purpose was to honor the men and women who served our country, and it peacefully brought together very diverse groups of bikers, including the Axemen, the Gunslingers, the Outlaws and B.A.C.A.. The ride grew each year to create the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial in Sunbury, Ohio, honoring all Ohio military killed in the war on terrorism. Fast-forward to 2009 when Jared has been caught as "the ringleader" of an extensive local grow operation and has pled guilty to charges that carry a minimum 5-years federal prison sentence.  Will the judge be motivated to override the mandatory minimum? In our last episode, we were in the comfort of the burgomaster of Vallaki's mansion (which now belongs to Will, right? Because that's how real estate works). We found out that the club Blinsky had been using was actually Lank's, and had caused him to become... possessed? Perhaps? Then Batthwack had asked Will if Will's vision had truly been from the Morninglord, or if it might have been from someone else. Is shit about to get real? Last week, the party finally met Mr. Wachter, Raphina went on an epic journey for her new...cat..., Blinsky was knocked out cold, long-lost siblings were reunited, and Batthwack definitely retrieved his javelin. Last episode, the party made their way into the cellar of the late Lady Wachter's home in search of Ireena and her supposed captor, Gadof Blinsky. After dustily dispatching a group of skeletons, Izek rejoined the gang, and he took Raphina and Will on a tour of the parts of the house they had missed. The rest investigated a secret door that hid a group of cultists, Ireena, and Blinsky, and Will and Raphina opened a bedroom door! What will happen this week? What's up with the weird lady in there? After grilling Rictavio for information on hunting vampires, delving too deeply into the personal lives of wereravens, and hunting through Vallaki in vain for a Blinsky that was uncharacteristically grumpy towards Will, the party decided to accept the Baron's dinner invitation. At the dinner table, a certain dish was *almost* revealed... what is it?! Are you some kind of foodie? Then join us to find out if we will ever eat anything other than beets in Barovia. Oh, and to see if we suddenly, inexplicably defeat Strahd. (Hint: We totally don't.)
