In this episode of 47 Morning Update w Ben Ferguson, Ben examines the escalating conflict between Democratic Party veterans and influential voices on the far left, focusing on James Carville’s criticism of Piker, the role of the Democratic Socialists of America, and what they argue are signs of growing tension within the party. They discuss ideological battles over socialism, party identity, economic policy, generational politics, and the potential electoral consequences of those divisions. A growing dispute inside the Democratic Party is drawing national attention as longtime Democratic strategist James Carville publicly denounces streamer and self-described socialist Hasan Piker, arguing that Democratic Socialists should stop using the Democratic label. The clash raises a larger question: is the party experiencing a genuine ideological divide, or simply confronting the consequences of empowering its progressive wing? The debate comes as Democratic Socialists, progressive activists, and party establishment figures argue over the future direction of the party ahead of a major election. Comments from Carville, responses from Piker, and broader concerns about socialism, party branding, and voter coalitions have intensified the conversation. Topics Covered: James Carville’s criticism of Piker and the Democratic Socialists of America Debate over whether progressive activists represent a faction of the Democratic Party or a separate movement Discussion of Abdul El-Sayed and progressive political organizing Arguments about socialism, government spending, inflation, and economic policy The role of education, media influence, and generational political change Questions about how ideological divisions could affect upcoming elections Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now. If desperation had a scent all of Midtown Manhattan would be overwhelmed from the stench generated by Fox News headquarters. What started out as a dream for the network on January 20, 2025, has turned into a nightmare of another never-ending war in the Middle East, high gas prices, a rise in the popularity of socialism, and a mentally declining president who is more focused on his vanity projects than his campaign promises.Fox News was so panicked the network dedicated entire segments to Hasan Piker, a controversial leftwing Twitch streamer who is not well known outside of his specific audience. The network has brought up Piker and his problematic statements for the past few months. Last week his name showed up in the transcripts 73 times which was more often than the words Israel, China, Biden, gas or even midterm appeared. The network is determined to make Piker the new face of the Democratic Party even though he has an army of critics among prominent left of center lawmakers and political pundits. He also has made no move to seek public office or engage in fundraising at a scale that would rival a PAC or mega donor.Other than Fox's obsessive coverage of Piker the network was a jumbled mess of pop culture stories, fantasies involving Hillary Clinton, deceptive segments about an interview with Abdul El-Sayed and fawning praise for the glorious leader - Donald J. Trump. This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit decodingfoxnews.substack.com/subscribe

Abdul El-Sayed refused to say Hasan Piker's name at a Michigan press conference, calling him "a social media person in California" — after inviting him to campaign. Larry O'Connor breaks down El-Sayed's damage control: the "hurt people hurt people" statement after the attack on a synagogue and a Jewish summer camp in Michigan, the walk-back that never quite becomes an apology, and the shift from "we" to "I" depending on whether he's distancing himself or defending himself. A Fox News reporter presses him on whether he'll condemn Piker, notes that Jewish voters are asking the question, and El-Sayed shakes his head while his press secretary tries to take control of the room. Then Dave Weigel gets Piker on the record: El-Sayed's campaign asked him to come to Michigan, not the other way around. Larry raises the question no one has asked yet — whether any money moved between the El-Sayed campaign and Piker's podcast for the appearances, the travel, or the mentions. Plus Mike Rogers on Democrats for Rogers in Detroit, the Haley Stevens voters in play, and the new ad built entirely out of El-Sayed's own words. From Trump's major Venezuela oil announcement and escalating pressure on Iran to Milo Yiannopoulos' deportation and Hasan Piker's controversial past coming back into the spotlight, there was no shortage of political chaos this weekend. We break down Trump's Venezuela oil deal, Marco Rubio's reaction, new Iran sanctions, U.S. strikes on Iranian missile launchers, Scott Bessent's brutal response to Elizabeth Warren, and the media's latest Pete Hegseth speculation. Plus, Canada gets dragged into the madness with "Lake America," CBC's 9/11 language controversy, trade tensions, and some hilarious parody videos. Then things get even messier: Milo Yiannopoulos is deported, his old pro-deportation posts resurface, Laura Loomer and Tom Homan enter the conversation, and conservatives clash over what happened. Candace Owens sparks more speculation, Kathy Hochul delivers another painfully awkward moment, and Abdul El-Sayed faces repeated questions about his association with Hasan Piker as old Piker clips make the rounds again. We're also covering the latest on the Lindsay Clancy trial, Spencer Pratt's reaction, Michelle Obama talking about her daughters leaving home, Dolly Parton's Nashville honor, Billie Eilish getting roasted by Grok, and plenty of ridiculous viral videos to end the show.Be confident in your portfolio with Bulwark! Listen to the full episode There's a lot going on when Hasan Piker wears a Zhongshan suit and praises Maoism. Matthew uses Wendy Brown's 1999 essay "Resisting Left Melancholy", which cites Walter Benjamin, Freud, and Stuart Hall to argue that campist rhetoric on the left, whether earnest or ironic, can signal unmourned loss more than conviction, and that nostalgic attachments to revolutionary pasts can choke off engagement with present possibility.  Brown argues that left melancholy displaces its grief over capital's triumphs onto scapegoats (identity politics, postmodernism). Matthew adds that it functions as an affective membership fee within online left communities. This might account for why liberals sense that they're sometimes being asked to join in choreographies of sadness rather than build coalitions in the present.  Drawing on Hall's account of Thatcher's mastery of political language, and closing with reflections from Matthew's years as a church organist playing nearly 1000 funerals, the episode asks what it would actually mean for the left to mourn its losses instead of reenacting them — and how mourning might be a necessary revolutionary act. It's Monday, August 31st, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Burmese military killed pastor and another believer The Burma Research Institute has confirmed that Rev. William, who used no last name, and another Chin Christian, Nam Ceu, were extrajudicially murdered on June 4th by the Burmese military dictatorship in Myanmar, reports International Christian Concern.  Rev. William had pastored the Chungcung Baptist Church in Chin State for more than 25 years. He was arrested with Ceu in May and had been detained by the military since then. Sources told the Burma Research Institute that Rev. William and Nam Ceu were killed for allegedly supporting the Hakha Chinland Defense Force, which is fighting against the Burmese military dictatorship. Psalm 116:15 says, "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Zo Tum Hmung, President of the Burma Research Institute, said, “We call the Trump administration to protect the persecuted Christians in Burma.” Send a polite, 4-sentence note to Kyaw Moe Tun, the Permanent Representative of Myanmar to the United Nations.  Address it to the Myanmar Delegation, 10 East 77th Street, New York, NY 10075. Democrat James Talarico: Muslims and Christians worship same God James Talarico, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senator in Texas who is running against Republican Ken Paxton, the current Texas Attorney General, falsely claimed that Muslims worship the same God as Jews and Christians. Listen. TALARICO: “Christians and Muslims and Jews all worship the same God. Muslims love Jesus. They love Moses and Abraham. We are all branches on the same tree as the Abrahamic faiths.  “So. it's heartbreaking to watch extremists, whether they are Christian nationalists or whether they're the Taliban or al-Qaeda, perverting these beautiful traditions, that have so much in common, to attack others and consolidate their own power.” There are three primary differences between Christianity and Islam. First, regarding the nature of God, Christians teach that God is the Trinity—one God existing in three co-equal, co-eternal persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19) By contrast, Islam completely rejects the Trinity. Second, Christians believe that Jesus is the divine Son of God and God incarnate who physically died on the cross for the atonement of the sins of the elect and rose from the dead. (John 1:1,14) By contrast, while Islam reveres Jesus as a major, virgin-born prophet and messenger of God, it explicitly denies His divinity, crucifixion, and resurrection. And third, Christianity teaches that salvation is a free gift of grace received through personal faith in the finished sacrificial work of Jesus Christ, rather than by human effort. (Ephesians 2:8-9) By contrast, Islam teaches that salvation depends on total submission to Allah's will, adherence to the Five Pillars of Islam, and the final judgment of one's deeds. Therefore, Muslims and Christians clearly do not worship the same God. Georgia Democrat distanced himself from antisemitic leftist Georgia Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff has offered sharp criticism of President Donald Trump which generated buzz about Ossoff potentially running for president in 2028.   That, in turn, has attracted some left-wing figures who have lauded his messaging like left-wing streamer Hasan Piker, who told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency in April that he was “intrigued” by Ossoff. There are two developments of note.  First, Ossoff, whose father is Jewish, is facing criticism from some of Georgia's local Jewish community over his votes to block certain arms sales to Israel. Second, Senator Ossoff has distanced himself from Hasan Piker over recent comments that many interpreted as justifying threats to American Jews,  reports the Jewish Telegraph Agency.   Speaking on a Twitch livestream on August 20th, Piker said this. PIKER: “If Jews in America keep putting this idea out there that they are singularly invested in Israel, eventually someone's going to come around and take action. Not against the state of Israel, mind you, but against American Jews.” Last Thursday, according to Fox News, an Ossoff spokesman said that the senator “unreservedly rejects reckless and dangerous rhetoric suggesting that policy advocacy invites violence against the Jewish community or any community.” In Genesis 12:3, God said, “I will make [Israel] into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on Earth will be blessed through you.” Undercover video exposes GOP Sen. Murkowski on SAVE Act And finally, liberal Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska stood on the Senate floor and painted a grim picture of the supposed damage the SAVE America Act, or the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, would do in her home state.  This is the bill that would ensure that American citizens — and only American citizens — should decide American elections. It would simply require: A valid ID before registering to vote in a federal election. Proof of citizenship. No Mail-in Ballots (except for illness, disability, military, or travel). Listen to Senator Murkowski's claim. MURKOWSKI: “What we're talking about right now is just the registration to vote. So, you're in Unalaska -- say you're a fisherman or a teacher -- the flight to Anchorage, because this is where you're going to have to go -- you're going to have to go into Anchorage: 800 air miles, $1,100 per seat, if you can maybe get on a charter.” James O'Keefe, an undercover journalist with the O'Keefe Media Group and the Justice League, flew to Unalaska to find out firsthand if Senator Murkowski's claim was true. Listen to his analysis. O'KEEFE: “I'm James O'Keefe, and I'm in the middle of absolutely nowhere, about 800 miles off the coast of Alaska, on a remote island in the Aleutian Islands. “Now, Senator Lisa Murkowski says that one of the reasons she's not going to pass the SAVE Act is because of people that live here on this island of Unalaska.  “Senator Murkowski saying if the SAVE Act passes, online registration goes away, and the residents here, the few thousand people that live here, are going to have to fly 800 miles and spend thousands of dollars to go to Anchorage to take care of their business.  “But all the people we spoke with here, they all said that that's wrong, including the post office, the library, the city clerk, the DMV. We didn't know there was a DMV here. Everyone we spoke to here said they're able to register to vote here. They're able to prove citizenship by going to the library.  “So, Senator Murkowski says, ‘If you're a fisherman in Unalaska, the closest election office is 800 miles away; it would cost $1,500. You would also need a hotel, cabs, and food while in Anchorage. But the librarian just told us differently.” Here is the portion of the undercover investigation with a female undercover agent, who accompanied O'Keefe, to the library in Unalaska. UNDERCOVER FEMALE AGENT: “Just wanted to learn a little bit more about the process to get an ID. “ LIBRARIAN: “We do passports here.” UNDERCOVER AGENT: “Oh, you do passports here.” UNDERCOVER O'KEEFE: “Mmm.” UNDERCOVER FEMALE AGENT:  “That's good to know, though, that if somebody wants to confirm their citizenship, they can do it here.” UNDERCOVER O'KEEFE: “To get the Alaska ID, do you get it here or back in Anchorage?” LIBRARIAN: “Oh no, here. The DMV should be the near the police station.” UNDERCOVER O'KEEFE: “So, we don't have to go to Anchorage to get it.”  LIBRARIAN: “No, no, no. As long as you have all the paperwork you need.”  UNDERCOVER O'KEEFE: “But I read in the newspaper that the senator [Lisa Murkowski], said, ‘Oh, they're going to pass this SAVE Act, and everyone's got to go to Anchorage to get it.'” LIBRARIAN: “I don't think so.” UNDERCOVER O'KEEFE: “Oh no. Okay.” Proverbs 12:19 says, “Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.” Call liberal Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski's office in DC, 24 hours a day/7 days a week, and ask the live operator to connect you to her voicemail, urging her to support the SAVE America Act. Her number is (202) 224-6665. Tell her that you reject her false claim that people in the Aleutian Islands have to travel 800 miles by air to register to vote in Anchorage. Plus, call your two Senators at 202-224-3121 and ask them to vote for the SAVE America Act as well. Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, August 31st, in the year of our Lord 2026. Welcome to Last Call, a look at the biggest stories Jim and Greg covered over the past week on the 3 Martini Lunch. This week, they discuss Democrats begging people to stop linking them with Hasan Piker, Abdul El-Sayed comparing circumcision to transgender surgeries for children, President Trump's “Economic D-Day” against Iran and companies doing business with the regime, and Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Raman's pathetic example of an accomplishment.First, they enjoy watching Democrats squirm as they keep trying to dodge questions about the role of anti-Semitic influencer Hasan Piker in Democratic Party politics. Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell is demanding an end to the questions. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden wants to find "common ground" with Piker.Next, they shake their heads as Abdul El-Sayed defends transgender surgeries for children by comparing them to circumcision. They also examine El-Sayed's attempt to distance himself from far-left influencer Hasan Piker. Then, they discuss President Trump's Operation Economic Outcast, designed to severely squeeze Iran and impose harsh consequences on countries and corporations doing business with the Iranian regime. Jim and Greg are optimistic the strategy could work, but only if the U.S. cracks down on every Iranian ally. Finally, they get a kick out of socialist Los Angeles councilwoman and mayoral candidate Nithya Raman bragging about how her office successfully painted a new crosswalk across a badly cracked street just nine months after her constituents asked her to do it. Please visit our great sponsors:QuoMoney is on the line. Hasan Piker is in the news once again, this time, for a “controversial” statement he made about antisemitism. This statement, that was no different than statements made uncontroversially by Ezra Klein, Haley Stevens, and Neera Tanden, drew condemnations from a wide variety of Democratic officials. From presidential hopefuls like Elissa Slotkin and Jon Ossoff to DNC chair Ken Martin, there has been a coordinated effort to disparage Hasan Piker. So much of this general election cycle has been eaten up by Hasan Piker discourse that voters are being robbed of a chance to learn about the two candidates that will actually be on the ballot: Mike Rogers and Abdul El-Sayed. 8/26/26 - They Are Working to Destroy This Country—And We're Letting Them

Mark Levin Podcast

Play Episode Listen Later Aug 27, 2026 107:14

On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, there's deep frustration, shared by many Americans, over government officials who voice concerns about figures like Abdul El-Sayed, and Hasan Piker yet take no real action against them. We're not discussing freedom of religion but rather individuals who seek to destroy the country, promote violence, attack the Constitution and Declaration of Independence, and undermine the system—primarily first- and second-generation Islamists, some of them naturalized citizens or children of birthright citizenship (like Piker). The Washington ruling class lacks the will to defend law-abiding American patriots, with Democrats protecting such individuals for their votes and others remaining intimidated by accusations of Islamophobia. Later, a Democrat nobody's heard of, Rep Johnny Olszewski, declares that impeachment of President Trump a top priority if Democrats take the House. Democrats are weaponizing impeachment for pure politics against a president who won a record popular vote, Electoral College total, and every swing state, rather than addressing genuine constitutional violations. Also, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani opposes a private Manhattan event featuring the leader of India's Hindu nationalist group (the RSS, ideological parent of the ruling party and linked to Prime Minister Modi). This is part of a pattern of his hostility toward Jews, Italians, and now Indians.  Mamdani a bigot who trashes PM Modi the same way leftists trash PM Netanyahu.  Later, Hasan Piker's recent remarks linking American Jews' support for Israel to potential violence against them, while blaming AIPAC for Democratic backlash, have drawn condemnations from several Democratic lawmakers. AIPAC is a transparent American PAC funded by Americans—unlike foreign influence from places such as Qatar or Turkey. Finally, Sen Dan Sullivan calls in to discuss his Senate election against Mary Peltola, who is a far-left liberal whose two terms in Congress produced zero bills signed into law. Sullivan called Alaska's ranked-choice voting system a manipulable scam put on the ballot to elect liberals - don't fall for it. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The Democrats are just now waking up to a viral video of Hasan Piker singing We Are Charlie Kirk to a cacophony of cheers from the clapping seals in the sociopathic dehumanization factory known as the New Left. Why do they believe they are morally superior to the working-class Trump voters? Because the legacy media props them up and never calls them out. Well, now, they have a bad case of Hasan Piker, and as long as they stand with him, they will have to excuse the idiotic things he says and does, like wearing a Mao costume and mocking the grief of the Right after Charlie's brutal murder. Not many Democrats will take that moral stand against Piker. They're too afraid to look uncool, un-manly, and lose all of his millions of followers. And besides, they will say, Trump is “just as bad.” Trump mocked the deaths of his enemies, but Charlie Kirk was not Hasan Piker's enemy. Maybe he's jealous of the love millions had for Charlie - real love, not the kind Hasan Piker has, his sycophants begging him to be more sadistic, not just to his dog. These are dark and disturbed people. We are now approaching the one-year anniversary of the brutal, bloody, premeditated, calculated murder of Charlie Kirk by a guy whose desire to become a somebody drove him to become a hero for a day. Maybe he did it for his confused and anguished lover who could not decide on his gender identity. Maybe he did it for the pathologically insane furry community on Discord. Maybe he was whipped into a frenzy and aimed at Charlie by, oh, I don't know, the CIA or the FBI. They've done worse. Israel, however, it was not. That didn't stop craven psychopath Candace Owens - whom Piker calls his “Queen” - from plundering the grave of her “friend” Charlie. The truth is that he kept her at a distance, needed her to help build Blexit, and then, when she got too crazy, he slowly, carefully backed away. She blamed Erika for that. She blamed Turning Point. One thing is for sure: she is too much of a narcissist to put the blame where it really belongs, on herself. Chicks on the Right had an illuminating interview with Andrew Kolvet of Turning Point to clarify just what kind of relationship Charlie really had with Candace and why she's become a woman scorned. But if Candace's exploitation of Charlie's death dwarfed the Left's celebrating, Hasan Piker somehow manages to top them all. What most people who are just waking up to the true evil that is Hasan Piker singing We Are Charlie Kirk don't know is that just over a month after Charlie's murder, one of Piker's putrid streams brought him a tiny bit of internet fame for mocking the song. Why did he think it was funny? Because he's a dehumanizing, repulsive shitheel who uses his dog as a prop when he's not shocking her to keep her in place. He's mocking MAGA for listening to and celebrating an AI-generated song that, to date, has over 6 million views. There were lots of AI songs about Charlie. I even fell for it for a brief moment because I wanted to believe there were people on the Left kind enough, empathetic enough, and generous enough to sing about Charlie. But of course not. It was an empty void, one that AI filled. And Hasan Piker, puny little cockroach that he is, found it “funny.” You see, he's trying to outdo 4chan all in the name of selling Communism and Islam. Hey, it's worth it to sell your soul to take control of America. He kept dipping back into that bowl because that's what you do if you are an influencer. You give the people more of what they want, and in his case, it's sitting on his dog-torturing basement throne, while mocking the working class. He couldn't get enough of it. He was like an uncut bull let loose in a field of fertile cows. On and on it went. He made his name on it. Most of this was done just over a month after the shooting, but he's continued to use it for the lols, even two months ago.So it was natural that when he took the stage, he would sing it live, like he was the Rolling Stones, dragging out “Jumping Jack Flash,” or Elvis Costello, singing “Pump It Up” one more time. Yes, he was mocking MAGA, people he deems lower class and beneath his sorry ass, and making fun of how deeply the murder of Charlie Kirk dug into their morale. Most people don't exist in the dank, slimy corners of the internet, so they might not know how long Piker has been dragging this story out. What else is he going to do? Talk about healthcare? No, everyone wants to see human suffering, and he's more than willing to give it. He loves Candace Owens too because water seeks its own level. But it was a serious thing. Even Megyn Kelly once talked about why it mattered that we were saying “We are Charlie Kirk.” We are people the Left wants to see unpersoned at best and dead at worst. But most of all, just to shut up, and that's what Tyler Robinson did to Charlie Kirk. He silenced him. The AI song was a way to make something happen that our culture would never have allowed because almost no musician would ever risk their careers like that. Remember when Jamie Lee Curtis offered him some sympathy and was raked over the coals and had to apologize? Yeah, that.Yes, if you are a sociopath who has bought into the decade-long, systematic campaign against the working class, you would think the AI song was funny, and maybe, a year later, it is kind of. But there was nothing funny about it in November of 2025 when Hasan Piker made his name on it.Hasan Piker fancies himself a fighter for the poor. He is anything but. He's a pampered little rich kid who is absolutely a high-status influencer among the ruling class, just like Zohran Mamdani is. Bernie Sanders never worked a day in his life and was even kicked off a commune for not doing enough work, and by the looks of it, AOC will follow in his footsteps with a lifetime on the people's dime. They can't imagine a culture that doesn't represent them, or that would punish artists for daring to play at the Kennedy Center or to celebrate America's 250th birthday.Sorry, Democrats. You're stuck with a guy who isn't worthy of even being in the same room with Charlie Kirk, but who once was in the room with Charlie Kirk. That is how emptied out his soul really is.So no wonder it was so easy for Hasan Piker to mock Charlie Kirk even in death. He must have felt diminished in those debates. Who wouldn't have? Charlie was smarter, quicker on his feet, and taller. Hasan Piker shines just a little bit brighter now that the brightest light has fallen. But he'll never be like Charlie. He'll never build a movement built on hope and faith. He'll never change the world. He'll always be on the outside, with his face pressed up against the glass, enjoying his one brief moment in the spotlight. And now he's your problem, Democrats. You can't wipe off the stain even if you used bleach. Good luck with that.____Leave a tipManage subscription This is a public episode. Joseph Sternberg addresses the looming "year of doom" in 2032, when the Social Security trust fund is projected to run out. Without reform, benefits could be slashed by 22% to match current payroll tax revenues, creating a massive political crisis. Sternberg explores potential remedies such as means testing for high-earners like Elon Musk or raising the payroll tax cap, though he warns these could impact broader economic growth. He highlights the generational fairness issue of asking younger workers to fund benefits that baby boomers were unprepared to pay for themselves. The discussion also covers the rise of Hasan Piker, a popular Twitch streamer who broadcasts far-left economic views to a younger audience. While Piker is photogenic and compelling, Sternberg describes him as a "popularizer" rather than a deep thinker. Piker's pugnacious approach serves as a bellwether for whether radical progressive ideas can succeed in general elections. (5)

TABLE OF CONTENTS, JOHN BATCHELOR SHOW, 8-18-2026Liz Peek discusses the resilience of the American economy, noting that high-end consumer spending remains strong despite recession fears. Small businesses are reportedly "humming," with hiring and profitability reaching their highest levels since 2026. This economic momentum is increasingly driven by a massive boom in AI development, which has created an exponential demand for long-term capital. However, this appetite for money is pressuring the bond market, leading to higher mortgage rates that hinder the housing industry. Peek highlights a growing divide between red and blue states, where the former are more likely to embrace AI investment while the latter resist it. She also addresses the influence of Hasan Piker, a radical Twitch streamer who mobilizes young men for Democratic candidates like Abdul El-Sayed. Despite concerns about AI-related job losses, Peek argues it is a vital tool for productivity and medical advancement. (1)Jonathan Schanzer examines the fractured state of Hamas, noting the group currently controls only 30% of Gaza while facing internal discord over potential disarmament. International negotiators are discussing a "disarm first" condition, which Hamas leadership currently rejects, demanding an Israeli withdrawal instead—a term Schanzer deems unacceptable to any Israeli leader. The conversation turns to Iran, where Donald Trump has threatened to bomb Omandue to its perceived collaboration with the Iranian regime. Despite its "Switzerland of the Middle East" reputation, Oman hosts Houthi and IRGC headquarters, facilitating intelligence and weapon transfers. Schanzer warns that Iran is in "war mode," coordinating closely with its proxy network to prepare for future violence. He also details the rapid rearmament of the Syrian military under Turkish and Russian influence, which concerns Israel. Finally, a new Sunni alliance between Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia seeks to diminish Iranian Shiite power. (2)Gregory Copley analyzes China's recent ICBM test in the South China Sea, interpreting it as "Wolf Warrior diplomacy" designed to signal naval reach to the US and regional neighbors. Australia is countering this threat through the AUKUSand Five Eyes alliances, though Copley notes a lack of cohesion between current heads of government. He highlights Canada's significant pivot under Mark Carney toward independent defense spending, reaching 5% of GDP to secure the Northwest Passage and Arctic interests. Regarding Yemen, Copley argues the Houthis represent the legitimate military weight of North Yemen, while the internationally recognized government is merely a "Saudi puppet." He suggests Western diplomacy should deal directly with the Houthis rather than adhering to Saudi preferences. Additionally, Copley provides a historical defense of Charles I, arguing his execution was an illegal abrogation of the social contract. He maintains that constitutional monarchies remain a viable and flourishing modern system. (3)Mary Kissel discusses the strained US-South Korea alliance, where disagreements over military funding have prompted Seoul to seek independent nuclear-powered submarine capabilities. She characterizes North Korea as a reckless actor that has committed tens of thousands of combat troops and ballistic missiles to aid the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Kissel critiques the "transactional nature" of current diplomacy, noting that contradictory signals toward Kim Jong-unundermine national security strategies. Regarding Oman, she defends the nation as a moderate partner vital for counterterrorism and the release of detained Americans, viewing Trump's threats to bomb the country as an expression of frustration over Iran. Kissel also highlights political successes in South America, where center-right victories in Colombia and Chile represent a return to capitalist principles and closer ties with the US. She concludes by noting that environmental factors like El Niño will soon challenge regional stability in Brazil. (4)Joseph Sternberg addresses the looming "year of doom" in 2032, when the Social Security trust fund is projected to run out. (5)Thaddeus McCotter analyzes the recent Michigan Democratic primary, where Dr. Abdul El-Sayed narrowly defeated the establishment candidate, Haley Stevens. El-Sayed, an "anti-establishment" fighter endorsed by Bernie Sanders, capitalized on unhappiness within the Democratic base, particularly in counties with large young populations like Washtenaw and Kent. While El-Sayed distances himself from the "Socialist" label, he supports extensive economic regulation and holds anti-Israel sentiments popular in Ann Arbor. McCotter notes that the Democratic establishment is now rallying around El-Sayed to preserve their Senate majority, hoping a "common enemy" in Donald Trump will bridge internal divides. Republican candidate Mike Rogers, a former Intelligence Committee chair, plans to counter El-Sayed by focusing on manufacturing, border security, and the risks of "Medicare for All" to seniors. McCotter warns that Trump's messaging on the "Iran war" and rising inflation remains a significant hurdle for Republican candidates in the general election. (6)Bob Zimmerman reports on the successful recovery of a SpaceX Starship near Christmas Island, which remained seaworthy for 24 days after a vertical splashdown in the Indian Ocean. This achievement, along with SpaceX's record-breaking launch frequency, signals a "renaissance to American ingenuity." Zimmerman notes that Elon Musk's political involvement was a defensive reaction to the Biden administration's regulatory pressure on his companies. In the Ukraineconflict, Ukrainian missiles successfully targeted a Russian factory producing Soyuz-2 rockets, aiming to cripple Russia's military satellite and drone communication capabilities. Regarding spaceport expansion, Zimmerman details SpaceX's potential new site in Louisiana, which offers hundreds of square miles for operations. He also critiques government-funded spaceports, like those in Australia or New Mexico, which often fail because they lack dedicated rocket companies as customers. Finally, research on mice aboard the International Space Station suggests that weightlessness does not fundamentally damage the heart's contracting mechanisms. (7)Two corrections applied, pending your confirmation: Hasan Piker (transcribed as "Hassan," segments 1 and 5 — the Twitch streamer spells it with one s) and Washtenaw County (transcribed as "Washington," segment 6 — Ann Arbor's county, which fits the context of young Democratic voters; flag me if the audio genuinely said Washington).

Hasan Piker just broke the Democratic Party, and James Carville and Joe Scarborough couldn't stay quiet about it. Jacob Smith, better known as The Moderate Case, joins the rundown to go story by story: a Democratic nominee who compared football to colonialism, a Wisconsin primary decided by 3,000 votes, and Massachusetts erasing its abortion limit entirely. In this episode: * Massachusetts Just Erased Its Abortion Limit. Governor Maura Healey signs the Patients Access to Care Act, eliminating the state's 24-week gestational limit and putting the decision entirely in physicians' hands. Only eight countries in the world have no limit at all. * Abdul El-Sayed Says Football Is Colonialism. His viral comparison of the NFL to toxic masculinity, manifest destiny, and the transatlantic slave trade, and he just won the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in Michigan, beating establishment favorite Rep. Haley Stevens. * Hasan Piker Just Broke the Democratic Party. James Carville and Joe Scarborough publicly break with their own party over Piker's October 7 comments and his admission that his favorite flag is Hezbollah's, even as Chuck Schumer, Donna Brazile, and Hillary Clinton defend him under "big tent" cover. * A Socialist Nearly Took Wisconsin. Francesca Hong, backed by the DSA, loses the governor's primary to David Crowley by fewer than 3,000 votes, a margin close enough to worry the party's establishment wing. * "We Have to Civilize You." A Sharia law survivor's warning at a Texas city council meeting, a Dearborn speaker who says Muslims are here to civilize the West, and Hamtramck, Michigan's ban on the pride flag.

On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, claims from some on the fringes of the conservative movement—that younger people today face uniquely hard times due to student debt, homeownership barriers, and inflation driven by the war with Iran—are inaccurate and sound like leftist or socialist talking points. There have been far greater hardships faced by prior generations: the Great Depression's 25% unemployment, widespread business failures, and near-economic collapse, followed by World War II's draft of 16 million Americans with over 600,000 casualties under brutal conditions. Young people today simply do not have it as hard as those of 50–80 years ago - they simply don't. Later, Hasan Piker represents a spreading poison that threatens the country unless named, confronted, and defeated. Democrats must abandon the reflexive party, party, party loyalty rooted in family tradition or anti-Republican sentiment; continuing to vote Democrat today means supporting and empowering those taking over the party, which ultimately destroys themselves. Independent thinking is essential. Meanwhile, it is astonishing how long birthright citizenship has continued, with the United States handing out citizenship like lollipops, producing figures such as Piker. Enemy governments like Communist China promote thousands of such births so the children can return as citizens able to work in sensitive technology, military, government, and Pentagon positions without detectable background issues, a practice that must end even as the president tries to stop it without Supreme Court help and the administration must do far more to halt the influx of Islamists, imams, and so-called scholars from countries that cannot be properly vetted.  Also, Iran continues a campaign of brutal hangings of protesters arrested during the January uprising in order to crush any future resistance. The only way to end this is from within by arming the Iranian people. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
