If your business is not doing well, it's because you are not doing well. Mrs. Bob Gallagher is the Founder and CEO of Mahalo Massage NYC where she uses Intuitive Massage to help her clients get more in touch with their body and mind. Many of us view a struggling business as a reflection of how successful we are as people, without realizing that this mindset is the real problem. We sacrifice ourselves with our work, and we worry about what others think because societal conditioning has convinced us that we need validation, so we must realize this and choose a new way forward. So much of the anxiety, tension and negativity in our lives is caused by us being stuck in these perspectives and choices that are holding us back, and living in that state creates a negative environment that hinders both our health and our business. Real success starts with recognizing that you have the choice to find and create the solutions you need to create positive change!Notes

Creating a single emergency number was tossed about for more than a decade before the FCC and AT&T worked together on a solution. On January 12, 1968, AT&T announced that 911 would be the emergency code in the United States. There was no plan for a “first” call, and seeing an opportunity, Bob Gallagher, president of Alabama Telephone Company, decided to be the first in the country. In this episode of the Alabama Short Stories podcast, learn about that first call and what it took to implement. Support the PodcastThe podcast is free, but it's not cheap. Scituate Lighthouse, Massachusetts. Photo by Jeremy D'Entremont. The town of Scituate, on Boston's South Shore, developed a significant fishing industry by the late eighteenth century and local citizens petitioned the town's selectmen for a lighthouse in 1807. A stone tower was built at Cedar Point, and Scituate Lighthouse went into service in April 1812. When the second lighthouse at Minot's Ledge -- offshore from Scituate -- was lighted on November 15, 1860, Scituate Light went dark on the same night, seemingly forever. The Italian freighter Etrusco grounded near Scituate Lighthouse in March 1956. Bob Gallagher has been resident caretaker of Scituate Lighthouse since 2009. Photo by Jeremy D'Entremont. David Ball has been a volunteer for the Scituate Historical Society since the 1980s. Photo by Jeremy D'Entremont. The lighthouse property was sold to the Town of Scituate in 1917, and in 1968 custody of the site was awarded to the Scituate Historical Society. The Society had the lighthouse relighted as a private aid to navigation in 1994. The grounds around the lighthouse are open all year, and the lighthouse is sometimes opened for special open houses. The interview in this episode was recorded at the Scituate Maritime and Irish Mossing Museum, and it includes three people. David Ball is the former president of the Scituate Historical Society and the author of a book on Cedar Point and the lighthouse. Bob Chessia is a Scituate resident and the new president of the historical society. And Bob Gallagher has been the resident caretaker, or modern-day keeper, of Scituate Light since 2009. He's also a high school history teacher. Bob Chessia is the president of the Scituate Historical Society. (Courtesy of the Scituate Historical Society)

He has been declared a ‘Good Soldier of Cinema' by Werner Herzog and has been described by Rough Trade's Geoff Travis as a filmmaker who ‘can be lyrical, as well as forensically evil'.  Bounding through styles and subjects, often in enthusiastic collaboration, his work traverses personal boundaries and teases out emotional soft spots.  His visual stories are marked by a polished absurdity and usually an element of the fantastic. With a passion for exploration, Bob's music video work has found him partaking in shamanic rituals, recreating Caravaggio's studio, walking 200km across Ireland, consulting a dominatrix, and cutting up a corpse. Bob Gallagher has directed some of my favourite music videos of recent years for some of my favourite bands, including Pillow Queens, Villagers and Girl Band. He recently held his first solo photography exhibition at the Darkroom on North Brunswick Street in Dublin City. Entitled Forced Perspective, it was an experiment with an analogue photographic process and 3D stills. Acts featured included Wastefellow, Loah, TPM, Naoise Roo, Villagers, The Claque and Junior Brother. On April 18 at Dublin's Button Factory, Gallagher takes part in Under My Garage, a late-night 'talk show' featuring discussion, music and live visuals. "Now, for one night only, Gallagher invites you on a journey through his subconscious, transforming the Button Factory into the set of a fictional late night talk show to meet some of his closest collaborators, dissect his work, watch some never-before-seen footage and find out where the bodies are buried. Warning: it will be weird." It features Conor O'Brien (Villagers), Pillow Queens, Myles Manley, Cal Folger Day and Bryan Quinn, with more to be announced - and music from the Under My Garage House Band. Brid O'Donovan talked to Bob about his photography process for the Forced Perspective exhibition, how it came about, collaboration and what's next.

Initially, he continued working remotely for his previous employer but then curiosity for mobile combined with the constant demand from companies wanting to know how to market their mobile apps, led him to establishing his own consultancy. ( 2010 ) Directed by Bob Gallagher & Séamus Hanly Music by Giulio "Julyo" D'Agostino, Reece Wardrop and Steven Conroy Lyrics by Martyna Halas Mastered by Jamey Staub ( Perimeter Studios, NYC ) Lyrics: I can't help but fall for the sparkle in your eyes Curiosity in the corner of your smile Your perfume tells me stories of a certain night Will you leave your fingerprints on my skin tonight? I am a sip of wine you're so desperate to try Drink me before sunrise, before I change my mind We're of the same species, we're of the same kind It's not where I belong but that's what makes it right All I know about you is that you'd like to play Aside are put our feelings, aside is put my name I am a sip of wine you're so desperate to try Drink me before sunrise, before I change my mind Will I regret the sparkle I've just seen? Will I forget the sweetest taste of guilt? You are a sip of wine I'm so desperate to try Let me drink you now before I change my mind
