Meet the Fittest Woman on Earth. Tia-Clair Toomey is the 4x reigning CrossFit Games Champion. During that same span in her off season she has also earned the distinction of Olympian, Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist in weightlifting… and, oh! Almost forgot. She's also a bobsledder. With a laundry list of world class accolades next to her name Tia joins today's show to explain why her physical abilities alone may only be 20% responsible for her success. In today's show Tia shares how the foundation laid by her family in Australia prepared her for an athletic career that has been defined by a meteoric rise and sustained dominance. We discuss the root of her unique internal drive she developed at a young age. Why she enjoys the process more than the victories. The importance of family, purpose and understanding your why. How she went from “spinning her wheels” to the CrossFit Games podium and Olympics in less than 3 years. Why she believes the title of Fittest on Earth doesn't tell the whole story. What keeps her motivated to stay at the top of her game and why she stays open to new opportunities.
