TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ DAHRAXT DAHRAXT is the techno project of the electronic music artist Alessandro Mannella ( formerly known as Mannella ). Italian-born and Berlin-adopted, he expresses his multi-faceted talent producing music, DJing and performing live. Apart from being heavily influenced by the UK techno sound, DAHRAXT's musical narratives oscillate between industrial techno and distorted electro soundscapes, all the way to the more mental techno textures. Moving at a young age to Ibiza, he crafted his DJ mixing skills performing regularly at important venues like Space and throwing illegal parties around the island. Not long after, he moved to Berlin and immediately caught the attention of many, playing at the iconic Tresor basement and shaking the dancefloors of other major clubs such as About Blank, Arena and Suicide Circus, as well as hosting events at the former Griessmühle. Eventually, as one of the founders of the multidisciplinary event project ENIGMA, he brought a brand-new event concept at Tresor Club. Besides Germany, DAHRAXT has made appearances at other influential venues across Europe such as Gare (Porto) and FOLD (London) among others. Touring overseas and taking part in the underground festival circuit, DAHRAXT has performed with the likes of Ancient Methods, Ben Klock, Detroit Techno Militia, Nene H, New Frames, Tommy Four Seven, Scan7, Sunil Sharpe and many more. His unmatched dexterity in bringing the crowd into his own visionary trip and the intensity of his DJ sets allowed him to also gain a residency at the techno party Vocoder in Mexico City (2018) and most recently at ARIA, London. As a long-time vinyl collector and supporter, in 2015 DAHRAXT founded two record labels: “Jtseries”, (a techno dancefloor-oriented imprint) and “PicNic34” (having a more experimental direction). On those, he has collaborated with Blawan, Cristian Vogel, Charlton, Kucera, Santiago Salazar, Tobias, Vladislav Delay and VSK to name a few. With an arsenal of music ready to hit some of the most important music platforms out there, DAHRAXT's ever mind-expanding DJ and studio experiments are bound to be experienced by many. *The Mix was live recorded at Tresor Berlin* Follow DAHRAXT here: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mannella.dahraxt Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dahraxt/ Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/dahraxt
TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ MADALBA MadAlba was born in July 1985 in Bari, south of Italy. From a very young age, her musical interests moved across a broad spectrum, going from house and dance music to rock and punk leading her lastly to techno and club-culture. At age 22 she approached the local scene as Djane with numerous performances in the club circuit of Bari. Through the years she has developed a continued and careful respect of the musical experience. She moved to Berlin in 2011 started djing with only vinyl records. In September 2011, she spent one month in Detroit where she started the collaboration with DJ Seoul, Tom and Angie Linder of Detroit Techno Militia. This travel has definitely and radically changed her approach to the techno concept, which she considers more a political and social phenomenon and a lifestyle than just a musical genre. Back to Berlin she immediately came into contact with the queer scene, then in full bloom, building a network primarily of interpersonal relationships based on mutual support and collaboration, a network that naturally strengthens over the years, leading her to basically all queer realities of the city and beyond. Her first releases on vinyl came out in 2014 on DTM-Label ( Detroit ) and Arkita Records ( Berlin ), the label that she spawned together with Synkopheit till 2016. In 2017 she launched her own record label Future Déjà Vu releasing 6 EP respectively by Transient X4, Ken Karter, Mannella a.k.a. DHARAXT, Phontonz & Shcuro, Rage Therapy and Bertrand. In Summer 2018 MadAlba became resident dj at the historical club Tresor in Berlin. The same year she collaborated with the London based crew Aria with aparty series in the UK capital. Currently, she is techno resident dj and co-organizer of the party Buttons teaming with Danilo Rosato, Jabob Meehan, Shingo Suwa, Akirahawks, Paolo Di Nola and Dj Northern. Since 2019 she is part of the roster of Pullproxy. Over the years, his awareness of the communicative power of his role as a DJ not an end in itself but always aimed at creating a network based on the basic values of absolute respect for all forms of diversity, has been strengthened to the point carrier of all her artistic and interpersonal expressions. This is a two-hour section of a live recording of the evening's events on July 16th, 2022 - featuring Eno - aka: ?CONFUSION? of Detroit Techno Militia. The section of the recording I'm sharing is maybe 10 minutes into when Eno stepped onto the decks for a solo rip. When you notice the marked shift into full-tilt electro-mode, Eno and I started tag-teaming, trading 2-3 tracks. Hope you enjoy! (and perhaps make it out in-person if you're in/around Manchester)

Hello Again, here is ESOA Podcast number 32 and Emanuel Eisbrenner is my guest this week. He was musically influenced by his father from a very young age. At the age of only 8 he already had to get various music equipment, on this Yamaha keyboard, Commodore C-64, Roland D-10 or Amiga 500 he made his first playful experiences in sampling and sequencing. After watching "Beat Street", he was completely taken by it and began to experiment with sound, using an 8-track mixing console and all kinds of equipment to perfect his work. After finishing school he went to India for 6 months and of course he had countless mixtapes full of sound collages in his luggage. Once there, he experienced his first techno parties. And as luck would have it, he suddenly found himself behind the DJ booth at an open air festival in Mumbai. The fascination of a DJ craft took hold of him and from then on he played at several other parties in Mumbai, Goa or Puna. In 1994 he came back to Germany, got himself 2 Technics and soon found himself as a resident in the Dortmund club "Orpheum". He finally went to Berlin and played more and more in Germany and abroad under his former name DJ Mouliko. More and more he immersed himself in the Berlin techno scene and from then on called himself DJ Eisbrenner. In 2008, the Tresor family took him in. And together with Mad Max he founded the project "Subdealers". His first own vinyl release came in 2013, which quickly brought him into contact with "Detroit Techno Militia" and from then on he played regularly in Detroit and elsewhere in the world. At the beginning of 2020, the pandemic also slowed him down and further promising projects with "Jacke Kirsch", the drummer of Alphaville, are on ice. Let's hope for a return to the club scene soon, at the latest then you will surely meet him again in the Tresor where he has been a master of the technique for some time now. Until then, let's enjoy his exclusive musical selection, friends, this is ESOA Podcast 32 by Emanuel Eisbrenner. Thanks for tuning in Namaskar ! For our ninth edition of the Equilibrisme Podcast Series, we proudly present you: Quadrant Soundscapes. Quadrant Soundscape are Tommy Harrison and Wilson Logan from Manchester. Together, they are the minds behind the Dub Explorations Radio Show, which has also branched out into live events with several very hot and loud parties at the famous Eastern Bloc Records. The Radio Show itself has well surpassed 60 shows, all 3 hours in length which is an insight into the dedication they have for hunting underground music to showcase and push forward - [www.soundcloud.com/quadrantsoundscape/sets/dub-explorations] Some of the shows have a live video feed, which can be found on their youtube channel - [www.youtube.com/channel/UCWUtvjg-c6fS7M0N_jtABrA] Over the last 4 years, the boys have featured on many podcasts across the globe, where their creative style of playing Ambient, Dub Techno, Minimal and Detroit Techno on 4 decks, while incorporating live samples is always well received. This has also led to them being invited to play many gigs in Manchester, London and Berlin. Individually, Tommy produces music as Asphalt Layer. His deep, electronic and dubby sound being heard on multiple record labels worldwide. Incorporating analog machines and field recordings to generate the many noises he uses in his productions, along with that 90's Jungle influence, his sound is very recognisable. And Wilson has begun a new alias, Scavenger, where he dives deep into the murky, experimemtal and dark, trippy techno world to produce very unique mixes. This alias allows Wilson to experiemnt more with his records and sound, often performing in a dark room on 4 decks alone. With a rich history of playing records and putting parties on in Manchester, hosting the likes of Remco Beekwilder, Ambivalent, Radioactiveman, Detroit Techno Militia, Mark Archer, Jerome Hill, El Choop, ODrex Records and Conforce, the boys have already secured some amazing artists for 2020 and intend to keep pushing that vibe they believe in and love. Thank you guys for your beautiful contribution to our Mix Series. It just keeps getting better and better, y'all! May's Techno Delivery Systems Radio show is one not to miss! I'm privileged and honored to feature one of New England's techno heavyweights - Eno aka ?confusion?. Whether it be DJing or production duties, Eno does not disappoint! He's the only New England member of the Detroit Techno Militia (and if you don't know what that is...learn yourself something!) and regularly gets down in Detroit...the home of TECHNO! His relentlessness has enabled him to become known as one of the most technical Techno and true Detroit Electro producers in the underground scene. Eno’s years of Djing, being a vocalist, hosting one-off events, monthlies, festivals, and producing has enabled him to become the southern tri-state and New England manager of the world-wide, Detroit based collective, Bang Tech 12, which hosts the official Movement(DEMF) pre-party for over 20 years. Reaching the top 10 Beatport chart on several occasions with friend DJ Mary Jane together as the hard techno duo TOIL, and as a solo artist, has enabled Eno to host a show titled "1701" on Fnoob Techno Radio - the web's #1 techno station as well as being a staple during Movement festival weekend in the birthplace of techno, Detroit. Needless to say, this techno soldier shows no signs of stopping! Opening duties provided by: DoubleUngood

This fortnight we present another local Melbourne lord that needs to be on your radar: Mike Hunt (real name Matt Radovich). An incredibly impressive outline of achievements can be found in the bio of his Soundcloud page where he briefly mentions supporting a vast range of acts from Aphex Twin to Wu Tang Clan as well as being invited by Detroit Techno Militia to play at the Bang Tech 12 Anniversary Party in Detroit. So instead of writing it all again here, we thought it would be more fitting to include the context with which this mix was made, written by Mike himself. “Every May, I head to the US, to spend some time with great mates in Detroit, during memorial day weekend. During that long weekend the city holds a 3 day electronic music festival called Movement. In 2013, I made my first trip over and I have been hooked ever since. This year will be my 5th year heading to Detroit, and since this mix was due around the same time as when I leave for Detroit, it seemed kind of fitting to do a Detroit mix. This mix was done using most the records I have purchased in Detroit over the last 4 years, plus maybe one or two I have had in my collection for a little while. It covers all kinds of music from Detroit, not just TECHNO. I hope you enjoy it, it's not the most perfect mix, in terms of it's production (there are a few mistakes), but I think the music is top notch! Thanks again for having me do this mix, I had a lot of fun putting it together.“
