TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ DAHRAXT DAHRAXT is the techno project of the electronic music artist Alessandro Mannella ( formerly known as Mannella ). Italian-born and Berlin-adopted, he expresses his multi-faceted talent producing music, DJing and performing live. Apart from being heavily influenced by the UK techno sound, DAHRAXT's musical narratives oscillate between industrial techno and distorted electro soundscapes, all the way to the more mental techno textures. Moving at a young age to Ibiza, he crafted his DJ mixing skills performing regularly at important venues like Space and throwing illegal parties around the island. Not long after, he moved to Berlin and immediately caught the attention of many, playing at the iconic Tresor basement and shaking the dancefloors of other major clubs such as About Blank, Arena and Suicide Circus, as well as hosting events at the former Griessmühle. Eventually, as one of the founders of the multidisciplinary event project ENIGMA, he brought a brand-new event concept at Tresor Club. Besides Germany, DAHRAXT has made appearances at other influential venues across Europe such as Gare (Porto) and FOLD (London) among others. Touring overseas and taking part in the underground festival circuit, DAHRAXT has performed with the likes of Ancient Methods, Ben Klock, Detroit Techno Militia, Nene H, New Frames, Tommy Four Seven, Scan7, Sunil Sharpe and many more. His unmatched dexterity in bringing the crowd into his own visionary trip and the intensity of his DJ sets allowed him to also gain a residency at the techno party Vocoder in Mexico City (2018) and most recently at ARIA, London. As a long-time vinyl collector and supporter, in 2015 DAHRAXT founded two record labels: “Jtseries”, (a techno dancefloor-oriented imprint) and “PicNic34” (having a more experimental direction). On those, he has collaborated with Blawan, Cristian Vogel, Charlton, Kucera, Santiago Salazar, Tobias, Vladislav Delay and VSK to name a few. With an arsenal of music ready to hit some of the most important music platforms out there, DAHRAXT's ever mind-expanding DJ and studio experiments are bound to be experienced by many. *The Mix was live recorded at Tresor Berlin* Follow DAHRAXT here: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mannella.dahraxt Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dahraxt/ Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/dahraxt

This is only the beginning as she recalls the begining of the new age movment and how christianity and the rest of the world began to look through a new lens. Turns out the lens is not as new as we think it is. Since 2014, Zanias has existed as the unrepentant creative venture of Alison Lewis, born in Australia, raised in Southeast Asia, and also known for her vocal work with Linea Aspera, Keluar and a record shelf's worth of collaborations with the likes of Black Rain, Ancient Methods, Dax J, I Hate Models and Infravision. As the sole custodian of Fleisch Records she spent many years attuning herself to Berlin dancefloors through the timely collision of techno and electronic body music, but her true passion is for understanding the modality of emotions through songwriting. Sound is her psycho-spiritual catharsis and philosophical exploration of existence, expressed through an intense vocal performance, evocative melodies and heavy rhythmic components. With this signature structure she seeks to reinvent her own brand of ethereal pop: atmospheric, multi-layered and as alien as it is authentically, vulnerably human. In 2024  Zanias returns with her latest album called Ecdysis, released on Metropolis Records and Fleisch Records. Named after the final stage of emergence from a former self, Ecdysis lays claim to an entirely new electronic soundscape influenced by the ethereal pioneering of Dead Can Dance, Enya and Fever Ray. Zanias's voice morphs deftly between species and gender, exemplifying the oneness of conscious experience evoked by the more extreme psychedelic states, while the atmosphere is heavily influenced by the Queensland rain forest where much of the recording took place, conjuring an environment rich with biodiversity. https://www.metropolis-records.comhttps://zanias.bandcamp.comQUEEN OF WANDS with DJ Nocturna Every Saturday on ModSnap Radio | KMOD: San Antonio3pm (HST), 5pm (PST), 6pm (MST), 7pm (CST), 8pm (EST)Radio: https://modsnapradio.comThank you for liking, subscribing and sharing my videos ! Ross Harper on The DJ Sessions On Location Sessions at ADE 2023 10/19/23   About Ross Harper - “Really, my artiste, you amaze me. The lengths you will go to in order to accomplish your own destruction” - An excerpt from Neuromancer by William Gibson I have had an unswerving devotion to electronic music ever since my heady baptism in the 90s London rave scene which culminated in an intense 5 years of studying music production. Since then I have spent a lifetime delving deeper and deeper into production.  My music has been compared to Jon Hopkins, Robert Miles and Orbital. Although these similarities are discernable, I am simply an artist determined to do my own thing.  My major early influences as Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Portishead, Morcheeba and then everything 90s rave. I grew up in a single parent family and my mum has been my greatest role model, she was a Children's Party Entertainer for most of her adult life.  My first name Ross means “headland”, the piece of land that sticks out into the sea and helps create somewhere wild, as well as the bay where people can enjoy the sea. My family name, Harper, comes from ancient times, Harper's are traditionally musicians who play music at festivals and for the royal gentry. My ambition is to live up to both these names I have been given. Every DJ set I share is a blank slate waiting to be written, I play anything from techno, drum & bass, deep house, dark disco, progressive house, cool ambient and everything in between. My personal productions are rich, varied and never to a script. The Ambient Girl series explores downtempo and has seen support from Cici, Lemonella and Ben Malone on Kiss FM. In Your Eyes e-zine dubbed it as “strong candidate for electronic album of the year”.  Whereas my beat driven works have been supported by industry legends like Charlotte de Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, John Dignweed, Kölsch, Laurent Garner, Martin L Gore of Depeche Mode, Sasha, and Nemone on BBC Radio 6. I am also the founding father of City Wall Records, where my A&R skills have signed tracks played in numerous Boiler Room sets including SNTS at Kompass and Ancient Methods in Berlin. I hold a weekly residency on www.aajamusic.com every Friday from 1000hrs GMT. I also present a monthly two hour show on AAJA on the fourth Monday of every month at 1800hrs where I share a plethora of cutting edge new underground releases.   About The DJ Sessions -   “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ's/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience. In this episode, Kyle interviews the Co-Founders of The EAST Institute: teachers, facilitators, and spiritual guides, Lena Franklin and Jeff Glattstein. The EAST Institute offers educational and experiential events, and trains facilitators in the art of the EAST Method™, a multidisciplinary approach combining modern research with traditional, Indigenous methods of healing and integration, touching on transpersonal psychology, mindfulness, meditation, vibrational sound therapy, energy medicine, shamanic healing, natural plant medicines, and more. Their approach is a structured (but flexible) process that guides the experiencer through preparation, the ceremony, and integration, but with a much larger focus on preparation than is typically seen, and with a deep phase of integration touching on six key modalities. They tell their stories of what led them to follow a healing path, explain the basics of the EAST Method™, and talk about their facilitator training program. And they discuss: how beneficial it can be to introduce shadow work right off the bat; how the West needs to learn to stop deifying medical degrees and learn to trust our inner healers; the power of energy and the energetic reciprocity between our bodies and the medicine; and how we, as a culture, need to break through our conditioning – from propaganda, fear, and the self-limiting beliefs that keep us from being our best selves. www.psychedelicstoday.com

This aggressive sound of TLP068 is brought to you by Vendex! He has found his way, the path of Techno, with a philosophy that envelops him in a cloak of darkness. Influenced by the literature of Dante Alighieri in his work the Divine Comedy, as well as everything related to history, Vendex comes with the intention of creating a path to an inner journey wrapped in dark melodies, blunt and sharp bass that defy the natural , reaching supernatural sounds that touch or even reach what would be the sound of the underworld. Generating sounds that guide the Dantesque idea of a trip in the underworld with the aim of reaching paradise. All this through a forceful and enveloping sound, this creating a path to the nine levels of hell, purgatory and finally reaching paradise. Influenced today in his sessions by artists such as Dax J, Parallx, I Hate Models, Scalameriya, Ancient Methods, Tommy Four Seven or Setaoc Mass and many more. TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ VSK Francesco Visconti, better known as VSK, is an Italian techno dj and producer, born in Rome in 1986 and based in Berlin. Since his earliest youth he has had a huge passion for electronic music, and through hanging out at the famous record store from the Capital “Remix”, he was introduced to the world of djing when he wa only 16 years old. He has got familiar to different forms of techno, his style ranging from a sound usually very hard and dark, often with industrial influences, to a very different one, deeper and more mental, both still easily recognizable as coming from the same mind. At the same time he met the artist Ken Karter, who introduced him to the world of production and mastering. He began an education as an audio-engineer and sound-designer, in music and especially in television, working in different recording studios; currently he does this alongside his artistic career. In 2010 he and his friends Conrad Van Orton and Vilix started their own label “Consumer Recreation Service”, which got immediate support from big names in the international techno scene, currently he has been handling “CRS ltd” series, focused on a darker and more industrial sound. Over the years he has released music on many other important labels such as Ear To Ground, Sonntag Morgen,Genesa, Planet Rhythm, on which he has an important collaboration with the Italian icon Giorgio Gigli, “Silent Age Ep”. In 2016 he also signed an extended six-track Ep with Conrad Van Orton on Developer’s imprint Modularz ( USA) and in 2018 on historical Soma Records under the name of “Symmetrical Behaviuor”. In 2017 he started performing live, both individually and as part of a duo with the Serbian artist Scalameriya. This collaboration brought to several relevant releases on the British labels Power Vacuum and the legendary Perc Trax, as well as leading to their appearance in the MORD box 002. At the same time he took part in the latest VA on the amazing “47” label along with Ancient Methods, OAKE and the label owner Tommy Four Seven. He also signed 47's third solo Ep, following those by Headless Horseman and Killawatt. Since ancient times, women have used plants to regulate menstruation, this information was transmitted from mother to daughter and held by midwives and wise women. There is a rich history surrounding herbs that were used in antiquity to avoid and prevent pregnancy. They found their way into poetry and plays. Their value cannot be denied when their images were stamped onto coins. Their legend and lore endure to today, yet we wonder… Did they really work? Medical historian, John Riddle was confronted by this question when asked by a student many years ago. While a valid question, it was not one usually addressed by historians. John decided the question deserved a response and thus began a lifetime of research. He went back to the ancient texts, some of which had not been touched in centuries to discover what the ancients really knew. John’s work led him to follow the clues back in time to connect the dots. Check out this fascinating conversation all about ancient birth control.

[EN] We retrieve an excerpt from the live that Kareem (Zhark Recordings, Berlin) offered us on a distant October 24, 2015 in Sala Siroco, Madrid. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Kareem Live (Zhark Recordings, Berlin) "Kareem aka Patrick Stottrop is the co-founder of Zhark Recordings and its sub-stamp Ramadan. From 1996 to 2007 he signed and published some of the best and darkest industrial-style records, taking electronic experimentation to limits never trodden at that time. His sound melted into black, with techno, hiphop and drone, creating a somber and metallic aesthetic, with the aim of transmitting and recreating in a claustrophobic state. In 2012, thanks to Boomkat's clinical eye, almost the entire Zhark Recordings record label was reissued in digital format. Quite a success, observing the different industrial projects that come to us in the current market. Perhaps that is why, from that year, a renewed Kareem reactivates his own label, in addition to publishing with some outstanding students as Ancient Methods in Fondation Sonore, the label of Amélie Ravalec (Paris / Berlin: 20 Years Of Underground Techno ) or in another underground highlight, Death Of Rave. This pioneer, often unfairly undervalued, will offer us a clinical direct, to recreate ourselves in the dark. An arsenal of sensations that haunted us from the shadows from minute zero. We welcome Martinovna, an esteemed VJ, who has shared the stage with the likes of Kanding Ray, Ancient Methods and Keith Carnal. She is also one of the leading visual artists for festivals such as Revive and lately Escape From Reality (the virtual festival by RAW agency). In our chat, she tells us the reason why as artists, we may not want to compromise to avoid diluting our creation. Martinovna is super passionate about techno and electronic music in general and has started VJing after being inspired by what she saw in gigs. Year by year, show after show, she has crafted her own style to make visual performances that help shape the vibe in clubs and festivals. As you will discover, it does not take much to start VJing, but what makes each artist's creation unique is the work that is put toward each performance and the experience that the artist accumulates over the years. Martinovna shoots herself a lot of the content that ends up in her visuals and often ends up investing days for each performance. In our conversation, we talk a lot about her influences such as Bjork, her ambitions, and how chaos can actually be part of the creative process. We also learn about one of Martinovna’s acquired skills - patience. -- Martinovna Vimeo https://vimeo.com/martinovna IG: www.instagram.com/martinovna_visuals RAW agency: www.instagram.com/rawppl Artists shoutout: VSK (www.instagram.com/vsk_series), Kwartz (www.instagram.com/kwartz_) Festivals mentioned: Valencia Volumens (www.instagram.com/volumensfest), Visual performers mentioned: Rybskie Tauron ( www.instagram.com/rybskie), Deruba ( www.instagram.com/deruba ) Softwares for Vjing mentioned -> Resolume Arena, Modul8 Movie mentioned about Bjork - “Dancer In The Dark” by Lars von Trier -- Home Of Sound Subscribe to our newsletter: bit.ly/HoS_Newsletter Subscribe on YouTube: bit.ly/HoSYoutubeSubscribe All latest links: https://linktr.ee/home_of_sound HoS X Adam Heaton: guest interview + playlist: https://www.adam-heaton.co.uk/playlists/home-of-sound

Andrea Greco, artist name Burden, is an Italian born, London based DJ and producer. Over the years his sound has emerged as increasingly dark and industrial; energised with driving basslines, shadowy atmosphere, and hypnotic leads. Burden’s DJ career was born in Rome in 2011, when he had the chance to play alongside internationally renowned techno artists like Len Faki and Shifted. In 2013 Burden moved to London. His masters degree in Sound Engineering at SAE Institute, the experiences this new city offered, and his fascination with its underground scene, helped sculpt his signature, albeit versatile, sound. Burden was soon contributing to the rave scene playing parties such as Aria, Superstition, Corner, HTBX, Dazed and Confused, 000011010 Collective, Wachtraum… As well as renowned warehouses and clubs such as Fold, Bloc, Electrowerks, The Cause, 93 Feed East, and Egg. Currently, Burden is one of the resident DJs of ARIA; a collective of likeminded techno lovers that have allowed him to perform in underground venues, and alongside names like Blawan and Electric Indigo. At the beginning of 2018, together with DLTN and a group of friends, Burden started his record label ‘Aurea Records’, where he continues to release his music and collaborate with artists such as Uun, Stanislav Tolkachev, Ness, Arnaud Le Texier, Tapefeed, End Train and Flaminia. Burden’s productions are played and supported by Tommy Four Seven, Ben Klock, Cleric, Paula Temple, Ancient Methods, Killawatt and many others. Video : https://youtu.be/JO6KnKtYdqQ Follow and support @opakdj Interview : Virtual Underground: How has this Opäk story started ? Opäk : I made acoustic music since was young. I play drums and I did a conservatory before starting to play blues / rock / punk with my friends! Then when I went to university, these projects ended, we were all in different cities. I made new friends, all techno fan. I did my first techno nights.... During one, when i was in party in front of "I hate models" at his beginnings, I knew that this was somehow the new essence of punk. So after started with playing with my first little pioneer mixing table and a computer, the Opäk project was born. Virtual Underground : Where do you draw your inspiration from ? Opäk : I find my inspiration in all the music that has nourished me from my childhood to here. From rock to metal, from blues to stoner, from EBM to Techno, from Techno to Acid, from industrial to hardcore. I often define myself as a "Industrial Techno " artist but in the end, I think the richness is to open up my influences as much as possible! if I have to name names that I have listened to a lot I will say The Doors, Rage Against The Machine, Official Motörhead, The Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson then in techno I Hate Models, RVDE, Gijensu, Ancient Methods, Phase Fatale, Tommy Four Seven, Ansome, Ayarcana, Myler, TWAN and many other artists in the same genre. Virtual Underground : Could you describe your mixing process ? Opäk : For me the role of the DJ is like that of the sculptor, he must shape the atmosphere and take people on his journey. As a story it is important to have a beginning, a middle and a logical end, so the selection is made in such a way as to respect this narrative scheme! Then of course the best is to perceive only slightly the transitions between the tracks and that they bring a new breath to the set. Virtual Underground : Which software/hardware did you use for this set ? Opäk : I used CDJs and a DJM900 and then I equalized the mix on bleachton so that the audio quality and the feeling was pleasant, simply ahaha Virtual Underground : What are your next plans ? Opäk : What I prefer for the moment is the "show and concert" part I like to perform in search of people, their opinions, emotions. This is the area where I am most comfortable and very beautiful dates like the pulse festival, Entente nocturne arrive. I also created my own label: Askorn Records, which I intend to develop, and finally I am working hard to improve and work to release my first EP which should arrive in 2020.

Have you noticed the growing trend among life experts all proclaiming certain rituals or methods as the key to an incredible life? Tony Robbins, Michael Hyatt, and others have been heralding the benefits of incorporating certain daily habits into daily routines. Surprisingly, some of these men are not religious, yet they are using the religious exercise. So where did they learn these “secret tools”? On today’s episode, I’m joined by guest host Dr. Brian Russell to discuss what he refers to as “the New Methodist.” In our conversation, we discuss how most of the methods employed by today’s secular life coaches have very ancient roots. The post How Leveraging Ancient Methods Can Positively Transform Your Life | GOF58 appeared first on Grace Nation with Dr. Jonathan G. Smith.

It's June the weather is HOT like our new Podcast from MOODY. Moody is a French DJ who founded Lunacy in November 2014, an organization that runs parties which brought his favorite artists to his hometown, Nantes. Ø [Phase], Headless Horseman, Phase Fatale, NX1, Ancient Methods, Dax J, Kwartz, Sleeparchive, Jeroen Search, Sinfol, Ayarcana and many more were on the bill. He is inspired by a raw and industrial techno, bringing his strong EBM / post-punk influences to make striking performance with some outstanding technical skills - and many hours spent digging in European record shops. Moody rides many big spots in France therefore it begins to have a solid reputation by trying to bring the vision of the party as it perceives. Crude and manifold. Enjoy ! Bomphcast - Melbourne's Techno Podcast

Smoke is a newly formed techno duo delivering an onslaught of bass driven, reverb heavy, dark and choleric techno by SFBM and Alter Mind. This Bomphcast is mixed on Traktor, however the duo also perform using hardware setups and produce in the studio as well. As well as citing Oscar Mulero, Shifted, Regis, SHXCXCHCXSH, Developer, Ancient Methods and Headless Horseman as their major influences, they also draw inspiration "from the wider concepts of science, engineering and technology" for the productions and vibe towards techno music in general.

Afterhours Podcast - Mixed by Kenny Campbell & Guests

Originally broadcast on Joseph McGeechan's 'Systematic Process' show on Fnoob. Not going to lie, when Joseph asked me for this mix I was pretty pleased with myself. For those who don't know, Joseph was half of the BCR Boys, ran Backwater Community Records and Berlin Consumer Records. He's released on Perc Trax and Synewave along with remixes for many other labels. And he's been remixed by Ancient Methods. Ancient Methods! He has played in Berghain and regularly plays in the mighty Tresor. He's also managed to escape Cumbernauld and now resides in Berlin. Jammy...Check Joseph out here @joseph_mcgeechanSo yeah, this mix was a big deal for me!It's probably the most 4/4 techno mix I've done in a while, only a couple of broken beat tracks, and also Morbid Angel and Joy Division. But enough rambling. Here's the track list, enjoy...01 Blackwood - TS 1 (SLE EP 001) - @statementloaderror02 Monolith - Blackout - Sonic Groove03 Shxcxchcxsh - VVVLLLLVVV - Avian04 Regis - Blood Witness (Edit) - Downwards05 Morbid Angel - Radikult (Mondkopf Remix) - Season of Mist06 Akkord - Continuum - Houndstooth07 Clouds - Complete Control - Soma08 Furfriend - Endless September (Perc Remix) - Perc Trax09 Savagen - Practical Education (Practically Educated Mix 2) - DVNT10 Kenny Campbell - Does Anyone Have Any...? - Unreleased (Performed Live)11 138 - DECONSTRUCT (Original Mix) - TXTRL12 Bill Youngman - Levitate - Killekill13 Blacknecks - To the Cosmos, Let's Go! - Blacknecks14 Joy Division - Insight - London Records
