In order to create new results, you must create a new identity that matches the results that you want. So, how do you change your identity?Step 1: Decide on the type of person you want to be.What's your goal? You get to decide. But in the first step, you need to know who you need to become in order to change your identity.Step 2: Visualize the new you. This is a great example I like to share about Jim Carey. When he was on Oprah, he shared the story that when he was a struggling actor, he wrote a check to himself for 10 million dollars postdated ten years from then. He carried it in his wallet and was being the well paid actor. He was being the well-paid actor while he was struggling to get work. Ten years later, he was signed to "Dumb and Dumber" for 10 million dollars. BE – think about the type of person you want to be, how you want to be treated like, how you want to treat others and how you approach things like your challenges, relationships, finances, health and personal development.Think about the type of attitude, values, character and beliefs you need to have to be that person. When you are clear about who you want to be, you will have little to no issues in finding out what you need to do.DO – now that you have established the type of person you want to be. Make a list of things and actions that you must take to fulfill the role of the person you are working on becoming. You can even take it further by changing the way you dress, talk and interact with others. Do the necessary work, in order to have (achieve your goal).HAVE – once you are being the person you want to be, you will start acting and making decisions that will bring or attract what you want to have. Having is the result of you being and doing.HAVE, DO, BE (the way we were taught)Once I have the experience, then I will apply for the promotion I've always wanted... then I will be happy.BE, DO, HAVEI am being the person who already has the promotion.. therefore I am going to show up every day as if I already have that promotion, and I'm happy because I know that my getting the promotion is inevitable.BE the person, that can DO what it takes to reach the HAVE (the goal).BE: Embody that next level version of YOU. (You.2.0)Get clear about what this looks like. How does she act?How does she make her decisions? How does she FEEL on a day to day basis? What are her DAILY HABITS?DO: Make decisions and take action as the next level version of you.Get clear about what this looks like.Would she take better care of her health?Would she prioritize self care, and schedule it into her calendar?Would she be confident in knowing that her success is INEVITABLE?Would she invest in her dissertation process by hiring a coach/an editor/in childcare?Would she take more risks?HAVE: Always connect to this version and make decisions as her now.Feel your feelings and hold the higher vision - learn to trust  your inner guidance and your higher self Please join the conversation in our secret group. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss a thing.. As a marketing consultant and entrepreneur, Joy Hutton, CEO of Joy of Consulting and On The Go Glam talks to us about her personal and professional growth hacks and how a change of mindset can have an incredible impact on your business. Joy's Growth Hacks: Set up systems to run your business: As part of her role at Joy Consulting, Joy provides marketing consultations to businesses and clients of all sizes. Her best advice that she gives to her clients is to set systems in place to make sure that their business runs smoothly without wasting time. Through utilizing different applications and taking advantage of the resources around you, you can save money and grow your business by working smarter, not harder. "If you don't have systems in place, you're actually losing money.”  Understand when you need help: A major growth barrier for a lot of small business owners is not knowing when they need to seek out and hire additional help. Most people struggle to leave behind the mindset that they have to do everything themselves. Independent contractors, part-time employees, and automated applications all exist to help business owners with basic tasks that need to be taken care of. If you're too focused on doing every single task by yourself, you won't be able to focus on growth.  “When running a business, you have to get out of the mentality of self-employed and act like a business owner or entrepreneur.” “Do, Dump, and Delegate”: One way to quickly set systems in place is through the method of “Do, Dump, and Delegate”. Do: Make a list of what you actually have to do in order to understand what you need. Dump: Consider dumping the tasks that you don't want to do or don't have the time to do. Delegate: hire additional help to pick up the tasks you dumped to set solid systems in place.  “You have to be honest with your strengths and weaknesses because that will help you make up those deficiencies with hiring people.” -- You can connect with Joy Hutton and all her business ventures through her linktree. 1. DO Turn up on time. Imagine that for every minute you are delayed your date will be thinking about how the possibility of them being stood up. You’ll have left them in the restaurant or bar looking at their watch feeling self-conscious about everyone watching them sitting there alone. 2. Don’t talk about how great you are. How off-putting! Your date does not, I repeat NOT want to hear all about you. They want to be listened to, respected and engaged with. There will be plenty of time for them get to know you, just wait your turn and reveal more about you when the time calls for it. 3. DO be interested. If you’re meeting for the first time it’s likely you’ll find out a lot about your date that you never knew. Some of it may be of interest to you, some not, but act like you are interested. Think of the effort they have made to tell you things that are important to them and show some interest in what they are saying. Which leads me to my next point. 4. Don’t keep checking your phone. This shows total lack of interest and disrespect to the conversation. If you check your phone you are clearly saying that your phone is more important than the person sitting opposite you. Prepare to get the bus home. 5. DO Listen more. We all like the sound of our own voice but when you are getting to know someone and the relationship is in it’s raw phase then quieten and take in what has been said. Speak less and show your interest by listening more. 6. Don’t be under-dressed. Being overdressed is far better than turning up looking a scruff. Your date will appreciate the effort you made and if they haven’t made as much of an effort then they will aim to the next time you meet up. 7. DO ask more questions. That’s right by now you are so interested in what they are saying that you want to know more. Listen, take in the information and ask questions to prove that what you have heard is computing. 8. Don’t try and be perfect. No one is perfect and no one is looking for Mr or Mrs perfect. No relationship is built on perfection so no need to worry if your date doesn’t seem too impressed with your little quirks or silly habits. Your imperfection is what makes you perfect. 9. DO Make eye contact. People will assess honesty through eye contact. The more you look away when you are speaking the more dishonest you will seem. You don’t need to stare your date out with your lovers eyes, just know that a better connection will be made if you keep your focus on them. 10. Don’t spend too long talking about past relationships. This subject is best mentioned and not elaborated on. Nobody wants to hear how much you loved your ex and how wonderful your life was with them. If you find yourself in the middle of this conversation I suggest you moonwalk out the bar and get a taxi home. 11. DO be honest. The relationship between you two will start off in the best possible way if you are totally honest with your date. This is the way I see it. You should always be proud of expressing exactly who you are and what you stand for and if it doesn’t sit well with them then you know that they aren’t the right person for you. 12. Don’t think too far ahead Enjoy the moment! Forget what might happen, what could happen and all the variables and just enjoy your date, focus on connecting and being happy in the moment. We both laughed because that's the reality of many FMs in the industry. Tom's real advice is: "Make an effort to align yourself with your folks. Sometimes we are so focused on something that we might forget that there are other intelligent people around us. Do Make a daily effort to learn from one another and stretch yourself to be better." Tom has a really interesting perspective of how important it is to learn from everyone and translate that to customers, employees, employer and family. He also has really clear and actionable advice to keep yourself organized and accountable. Join us on Discord: https://discord.gg/trugamingPlus, check out streaming resources on our website - https://trugaming.com-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This week’s topic is about the Do’s and Don’ts of Working with Developers as a Streamer. DO: Be AmbitiousOne of the biggest tips I think broadcasters should know, is that you don’t have to be scared about contacting developers to ask about partnership opportunities. The worst that can happen is they say no! If you’re smart about your pitch, and have reasonable expectations, then feel free to reach out to your dream organizations. You never know what could happen!DON’T: Be DesperateWhile you should feel confident enough to reach out to developers, you need to be careful how you word your pitch. You don’t want to come off as someone who is desperate for the opportunity. Make a convincing case for yourself, but keep it concise. The worst thing you can do is make it seem like you don’t deserve the opportunity, because if you believe that, so will the developer.DO: Your ResearchWhen making your pitch, make sure you show the developer that you know their game or product. It’s extremely easy to tell the difference between someone who is really passionate about your product, versus someone who is just looking for freebies. Why are you the best candidate to represent this company?DO: Make it EasyAnother important point to remember when looking to work with developers and other organizations, is to make it easy for them to see what you’re about. Be sure to include links to all the social sites you want to be considered, and also be sure that the email you are sending from is attached to those sites. The less work that the developer has to do to find out what you do, the better.DON’T: Be SelfishPerhaps the most important part of your pitch is to consider what you can offer the developer. Many streamers get caught up in how a beta key or a free product could help them add status to their streams, but don’t stop to consider what they can give in return to the developers. If you don’t prove to the developer that they can get some sort of return on investment, they won’t want to work with you. It’s as simple as that.DO: Think Long-TermOur last tip for broadcasters is to think beyond the near future in developer relationships. So, you just landed your first developer partnership - great! Don’t let it stop there. Continue to develop that relationship over time, and be sure to constantly think about ways in which you can help that developer in the future.

On this special 4th of July No BS Marketing podcast, let's talk ketchup, mustard, and marketing.Americans will eat more than 7 billion hot dogs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, 150 million on the 4th of July holiday alone. We average about 70 hot dogs per person eaten each year. If you have one, do you top it with ketchup or mustard?According to a YouGov survey, the most popular condiment for hot dogs is mustard (72%) followed by ketchup (59%), onions (51%) and relish (47%).Age has a big impact on our choice. 73% of 16-34-year-olds ate their hot dogs with ketchup while only 41% of those 35 and older did.Makes sense. Kids love ketchup. Children have different taste buds than adults and notice bitter tasting foods more. Plus creative commercials help create long-lasting habits like adding ketchup to a hot dog. Remember the Anticipation theme from these two classics? But sometimes one organization's message hurts a complimentary product. The National Hot Dog & Sausage Council's Do's and Don'ts of Hot Dog Etiquette surely caught the attention of ketchup companies with this one: Heinz Anticipation Commercial 1979.Don't…Use ketchup on your hot dog after the age of 18.Mustard, relish, onions, cheese, and chili are acceptable.Whether you like your hot dog with ketchup, mustard or some other way, you can benefit from these Messaging Do's and Don'ts:Do…Focus on creative promotions to tell your story. Just like the hot dog industry promotes National Hot Dog Month, you can promote your anniversary, new equipment, locations and hires in a creative way.Do…Make it about your target audiences. Why does it matter to them?Don't…Miss opportunities to promote your uniqueness. Develop a content calendar to tell your story throughout the year.Don't…Make messaging, branding and PR decisions by committee. You'll end up with a little bit of what each person wanted and a lot of wasted advertising dollars.Don't…think your instincts are better than a combination of listening to customers through Marketing Intel, brainstorming with your leadership team AND your instincts. So many times I see companies suffer because decisions made about marketing or messaging are made based on instincts…thinking “I know my market, I know my customers, I've done this for X number of years.”If you're still not sure about ketchup on your hot dog, in honor of my Dad on this 4th of July podcast, I'm going to quote one of his favorite movie characters. Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry makes it clear in the film Sudden Impact when he finished a rant about society's ills by telling a hot dog eating detective at the scene that "Nah, this stuff isn't getting to me, the shootings, the knifings, the beatings, old ladies being bashed in the head for their social security checks... Nah, that doesn't bother me. But you know what does bother me? You know what makes me really sick to my stomach? It's watching you stuff your face with those hotdogs. Nobody, I mean nobody puts ketchup on a hot dog.Hey Dirty Harry, I do from time to time…guess I'm a BS'er when it comes to eating hot dogs.Hope you enjoy your 4th of July Holiday week.

For SuperCharge we discuss the Moonjar Classic Moneybox: Save, Spend, Share .  You can follow the link and help support our podcast when you purchase it.  We then share a clip from Light Her Fire about viewing your spouse in a positive way rather than negative.  We then give dad's some homework of viewing your kids in a positive way. We close out the episode with a quote. SEGMENTS Welcome and intro (0:00) Stuff to Do – Make a Fort (5:50) Mailbag – How do I go out on a date with my wife on a limited budget?
