We pause our Leader Equip series to interview Evangelism Minister Reid Overall where we discuss all things baptism in anticipation of Baptism Sunday, April 27. For Kids  We have a free baptism booklet designed for children ages 5-12 to help guide conversations about baptism. To receive a booklet, reach out to your Kids Ministry Team at the Welcome Desk. Use the QR code inside the booklet to let us know about any next steps your child may want to take.  For Students  Younger students (6th-7th grade) may still find the baptism booklet helpful.  One-on-One Conversations: Students can schedule a meeting with their campus student minister to discuss baptism further. We also encourage parents to have open conversations with their students about baptism, offering guidance and support as they explore this important step in their faith.   Ready to Take the Next Step? Baptism Sunday is coming up on April 27, and we can't wait to celebrate with you! If you've been considering baptism, this is your opportunity to take a bold step in your faith journey. Baptism is a public declaration of your decision to follow Jesus, and we're here to walk with you every step of the way. Whether you're ready to take the plunge or just have questions, we'd love to connect. Let's take this step together—sign up today and be part of this powerful day of transformation! Baptism Sign Up  Talking to Your Kids About Baptism  Baptism Revival and the Next Generation  NT Wright - Do I Need to Be Baptized?  Baptism is: · Commanded by Jesus: Baptism is a key part of making disciples, commanded by Jesus in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). · Repentance and Forgiveness: It symbolizes repentance and the forgiveness of sins, with a promise of receiving the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). · Salvation through Faith: Baptism is tied to belief and salvation, showing outward faith in Jesus (Mark 16:16). · Union with Christ's Death and Resurrection: Through baptism, believers are symbolically buried with Christ in His death and raised to a new life, identifying with His resurrection (Romans 6:3-4, Colossians 2:12). · New Identity in Christ: Baptism represents putting on a new identity, being clothed with Christ (Galatians 3:27). · Spiritual Rebirth: Jesus teaches that baptism represents being born again by water and the Spirit, necessary for entering the kingdom of God (John 3:5). · Conscience before God: It's not just an external act but a spiritual appeal for a clear conscience through the resurrection of Jesus (1 Peter 3:21). · Cleansing from Sin: Baptism is a symbolic washing away of sins as believers call on the name of Jesus (Acts 22:16). · God's Mercy and Renewal: Baptism reflects God's mercy in regenerating and renewing believers by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5). FAQs about Baptism What is baptism? Baptism is a beautiful ceremony where a person who has decided to follow Jesus Christ is immersed in water to demonstrate their faith in Him by publicly declaring Jesus Christ as their Lord and King. Baptism is the way Scripture teaches that we are united with Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4). Baptism was a command of Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20) and Jesus himself was baptized (Luke 4:21-22). Baptism is for everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and has decided to give their lives to him. Why does the Hills practice baptism by immersion (going under the water)? The word “baptism” we find in Scripture comes from a Greek word “baptizo” which means “to dip or immerse.” The examples we see in the New Testament show that the people who were being baptized went down into the water (Acts 8:26-38). And going completely under the water shows that we are participating with Jesus in his death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4). When we go under the water, it's as if we are dying and being buried. When we come back up from underneath the water, it's a sign of our resurrection and coming out of the grave as a brand new person. These are several reasons why we practice baptism by immersion at the Hills. Should I be baptized if I was baptized as an infant? Many people are baptized as an infant because their parents desired to dedicate them to the Lord and for his protection to be on their lives. We believe that choosing to be baptized later on in life honors that choice made on your behalf by someone else. As we read the New Testament, we see that the examples of all those who are baptized are people who are older and who are able to commit themselves to following Jesus Christ. So we welcome all those who have been baptized as an infant to be baptized again as a way to declare I personally choose to follow Jesus the rest of my days. Should I wait until I get my life together before I am baptized? We would emphatically say “no”! Waiting to come to Jesus until you get your life in order is like telling someone with a broken leg to set the bone themselves, splint it, learn how to walk on it, and then go see the doctor. We would never keep someone from the person who could heal them. The same is true with baptism. You come to Jesus, not because you have it all together, but precisely because you don't. The only thing we've proven on our own is that we can't do it on our own. Jesus is the only one that can put us back together. And it is by surrendering to Jesus that we receive his life, his healing, and the power of the Holy Spirit who begins to transform us from the inside out. Staying away from Jesus keeps us away from the only power that truly can change us. Come to Jesus, surrender to Him, be baptized, and watch what God can do in your life! How much do I or my children need to know before we are baptized? We have often made entrance into the Kingdom of Jesus a matter of information, when in reality it is a matter of surrender. A person does need to understand that Jesus declared that He was the Son of God and that our faith in Him is what saves us. A person needs to be able to understand that Jesus invites us to give up control of our lives so we can follow his ways and not our own. Beyond that, a person is free to come and learn about Jesus with Jesus instead of learning about him from a distance. Baptism is a starting place on our spiritual journey, not a test we must pass before we can begin. Jesus wants us to walk with him, learn from him as we go, and share as much life together we possibly can. Remember, Jesus is a person to love, not a subject to study. If you or your children believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and you are ready to follow Him, you are ready to begin that journey. We invite you to come and be baptized this Sunday! I've been baptized before but I'm not really sure I knew what I was doing or I haven't really followed Jesus since then. Do I need to be re-baptized? Certainly, when people are baptized, they need to be able to make a commitment that they believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that they want to surrender to Him. But remember, the power of salvation comes not from our knowledge and understanding of every aspect of the spiritual journey but from Jesus' grace. Often what is needed is not re-baptism but a deeper surrender to the decision that was already made. In some cases, a person made the decision to follow Jesus and was baptized but then decided to follow their own path which could've even led them into deep sin and wandering. In situations like this, what is needed is not re-baptism but repentance. Jesus' grace is so immensely powerful all that God is expecting from us is to turn our faces back to him and come home, making the decision to honor the commitment we've already made to follow him. And sometimes people are baptized because they had a parent or grandparent or friend who wanted them to be baptized and it wasn't really a commitment they were making on their own. In these situations, we would encourage the person to consider being baptized again. Going through the practice of being baptized without commitment and without faith and is just an exercise in getting wet. It is faith that saves us, not water. What should I expect on Baptism Sunday? Baptism Sunday will be a very exciting day! We will have our regular worship service at the Hills. At the end of our time of preaching and sharing God's Word, Pastor Rick will invite everyone who would like to be baptized to come towards the stage. There will be people there at the stage who will welcome you and walk with you back to get you registered. After we get you registered, we'll take you back to the dressing rooms where we will have clothes you can change into for your baptism. The dressing rooms are private and are separated for men and women. After you change into your clothes, you can leave your things in the dressing rooms and they will be watched and kept safe while you are baptized. You can choose someone to baptize you or one of our ministers at the church can baptize you. If you are going to have someone personal to you baptize you, they will need to change into clothes, as well. They can bring their own if they'd like or they can change into clothes we will have available. You then will go into the baptistry (the water is warm and is heated) and you will be baptized in front of the church. You'll then go back and change into your clothes. After changing, one of our elders will pray over you and your family and friends as you begin your new journey. There will also be photo backdrops set up so you can take pictures with family and friends on your big day! "The Road to Redemption" is a powerful sermon series exploring God's plan for salvation, and this is just the beginning! In Part 1, we focus on John the Baptist, the messenger sent to prepare the way for Jesus. His message was urgent and clear: Repent!—turn your heart back to God—and Be Baptized! as a public sign of transformation. John lived outside the norms of society, yet he was deeply in tune with God's Spirit, calling people to genuine faith rather than empty religion.John's mission wasn't about himself but about pointing people to Jesus. His message still speaks to us today—revival begins with repentance. As we dive into this series, let's examine our own hearts. Are we ready for the Lord? Are we willing to turn from distractions and truly follow Jesus? If so, let's take action—seeking deeper faith, embracing baptism, and preparing the way for what God wants to do in our lives. For more information about Istrouma, go to istrouma.org or contact us at info@istrouma.org. We glorify God by making disciples of all nations. ========== Connection Card https://istrouma.org/myinfo May 5, 2024 Tim Keith ‭‭Acts‬ ‭10‬:‭34‬-‭42‬‬ Peter began to speak: “Now I truly understand that God doesn't show favoritism, but in every nation the person who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. He sent the message to the Israelites, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ — he is Lord of all. You know the events that took place throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John preached: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about doing good and healing all who were under the tyranny of the devil, because God was with him. We ourselves are witnesses of everything he did in both the Judean country and in Jerusalem, and yet they killed him by hanging him on a tree. God raised up this man on the third day and caused him to be seen, not by all the people, but by us whom God appointed as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be the judge of the living and the dead. Believe in Jesus for Forgiveness of Sins ‭‭Acts‬ ‭10‬:‭43‬‬ All the prophets testify about him that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins.” Acts 3:19 says, "Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out" Receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit ‭‭Acts‬ ‭10‬:‭44‬-‭46‬‬ While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came down on all those who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were amazed because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and declaring the greatness of God. Then Peter responded, Ephesians 1:13-14 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession Be Baptized with Water ‭‭Acts‬ ‭10‬:‭47‬-‭48‬‬ “Can anyone withhold water and prevent these people from being baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” He commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay for a few days. ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬‬ when you were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬-‭20‬‬ Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬‬ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come! This week we wrap up Matthew 3 and start Matthew 4. John the Baptist has been preaching and people have been listening.  They have been hearing his call to repent and he has been baptizing them.  And one day, Jesus shows up.  He wants to be baptized, too. The baptism of Jesus affirms what John was preaching.  Return to God.  Repent.  And it also shows the ordinary people who were watching that Jesus was one of them. Jesus  then fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, as an ordeal of testing. Jesus had to be tempted.  He had to master his flesh and not sin.  He had to do this part for us.  To prove it can be done, but also to remain sinless so he could be the perfect lamb without spot on the cross. Keep learning:Follow along with the full show notes on the website Listen to this week's playlist on Apple MusicReferences and Mentions:Emily's go-to NIV, Life Application Study BibleJohn Wesley's Notes on the Whole Bible: New TestamentThe Tony Evans Bible CommentaryThe Passion Translation New Testament Extra Reading:Baptism – Connecting Point ChurchWhy Did Jesus Need to Be Baptized?Meaning of the Number 40 in the BibleWhy Did Jesus Fast?---Check out the Nothin' But Fine blog and website.Follow us on social media: Instagram Facebook Twitter YouTube Want everything in your inbox? Summary of Part 1+ The Church BEGAN in a house (will it END in houses?) + No Church ‘buildings' (earliest in the 200s, converted house)+ Revival needed houses – evangelism/teaching/discipling+ Public Meetings (i.e. Temple) often led to problems+ First 10-year period involved ONLY Jews & circumcised proselytes   (2:5 - “devout Jews”, 2:11 - “both Jews and converts to Judaism”)+ House-sized churches are still the norm in many places on Earth+ Fearful (masked) people won't go to big meetings, but homes?+ House meetings necessitate relational evangelism (vs. contact)ACTS TIMELINE/EVENTS – AD 40 – Gentile Pentecost (3.0)ACTS 9:43 - 43 And he [Peter] stayed in Joppa for many days with one Simon, a tanner. [in a house]Acts 10:1-5 - 1 At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of what was known as the Italian Cohort, 2 a devout man who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people, and prayed continually to God. 3 About the ninth hour of the day (WHILE IN PRAYER – v. 30) he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.” (HIS NAME) 4 And he stared at him in terror and said, “What is it, Lord?” And he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God. (HIS PRAYERS) 5 And now send men to Joppa (PETER'S CITY) and bring one Simon who is called Peter (PETER'S FULL NAME). *WHO IS CALLING WHO?* - Lost calling the saved – Are we expecting this??Acts 10:6-8 - 6 He is lodging with one Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. (PETER'S ADDRESS from an Angel!)” 7 When the angel who spoke to him had departed, he called two of his servants and a devout soldier from among those who attended him, 8 and having related everything to them, he sent them to Joppa. *FIRST-TIME OBEDIENCE*Acts 10:9-20 - 9 The next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray. (WHILE IN PRAYER) 10 And he became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while they were preparing it, he fell into a trance (MOST VULNERABLE) 11 and saw the heavens opened and something like a great sheet descending, being let down by its four corners upon the earth. 12 In it were all kinds of animals and reptiles and birds of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him: “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” 14 But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.” 15 And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common.” 16 This happened three times, and the thing was taken up at once to heaven. 17 Now while Peter was inwardly perplexed as to what the vision that he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate (DIVINE TIMING) 18 and called out to ask whether Simon who was called Peter was lodging there. 19 And while Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. 20 Rise and go down and accompany them without hesitation, for I have sent them.” *ROLE OF SUPERNATURAL* - New Wineskins often require it. i.e. Muslims*DIETARY LAWS? OLD COVENANT* – also an entirely NEW WINESKIN*3 encounters + 1 Holy Spirit “says”* - WE can be STUCK in our ways, methods, expectationsActs 10:21-33 - 21 And Peter went down to the men and said, “I am the one you are looking for. What is the reason for your coming?” 22 And they said, “Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house (VIOLATION!) and to hear what you have to say.” 23 So he invited them in to be his guests. The next day he rose and *went away with them* (WITHOUT the “Approval” of the other Apostles!), and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him. 24 And on the following day they entered Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. 25 When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him (CONFUSION). 26 But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Stand up; I too am a man.” 27 And as he talked with him, he went in and found many persons gathered. 28 And he said to them, “You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean. 29 So when I was sent for, I came without objection (LOL). I ask then why you sent for me.” 30 And Cornelius said, “Four days ago, about this hour, I was praying (+ “fasting” – some translations) in my house at the ninth hour,  and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God. 32 Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon who is called Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.' (SHARED THE DETAILED PROPHETIC WORD) 33 So I sent for you at once (TRUE), and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear ALL that you have been COMMANDED by the Lord.”  *LOST want to hear ALL* - not watering anything down, avoiding the difficult (Jesus = ONLY WAY, issue of sin/repentance, judgment)Acts 10:34-48 - 34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality,  35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. 36 As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all), 37 you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. 39 And we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree, 40 but God raised him on the third day and made him to appear, 41 not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 And *he commanded us to preach* to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. 43 To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” (THE GOSPEL) 44 While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on ALL who heard the word. 45 And THE BELIEVERS from among the circumcised [Jewish background] who had come with Peter WERE AMAZED, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles. 46 For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared, 47 “Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they [Gentiles] asked him [Peter] to remain [in their house] for some days.*Preaching* - not “listening” – an apostle w/ an apostolic mandate*Not just praying for people, prophesying…but also PREACHING!*Who will we be “amazed” by when the Holy Spirit comes upon them? “even on the _______”*BELIEVE & BE BAPTIZED – no delays / Spirit baptism!SUMMARY1. You Don't Have to Be Baptized  There is a large swath of Christians that believe that to be saved, you must also be baptized.  That is not the truth. In this session, I will teach you what the Bible really says about baptism and why it is not necessary for salvation. I realize that this is probably a fairly sacred cow for most people but, to echo the words of Galatians 4:16 “Am I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?”

Kings. Israel wanted a king like all the nations around them. So, God gave them Saul. He disobeyed God. Then God anointed David. Now, David is very old, about 70, and bedridden. Here, we'll meet David's successor to the throne. First, his oldest son, Adonijah, then the one chosen by God, Solomon. The Books of 1 and 2 Kings serve as a backbone for the rest of the Bible. Scholars think that the prophet Jeremiah wrote it. These books are the key to understanding the history and framework of the Bible and Israel. It's a spiritual commentary and a historical record on how Israel got it wrong. God made Covenant after Covenant — that's an agreement or contract — with Israel. What God wanted was simple — you obey Him and He'll provide everything you need. That's still how He works! However, over and over again, the people broke the Covenant… Adam and Eve – the Fall of Man The Israelites, whom He freed them from slavery in Egypt. God had to give them the 10 Commandments and they broke them. God wouldn't have had to give humans the 10 Commandments if they weren't sinning. Yeah, think about that for a moment. The next generation got to enter the Promised Land and they broke the Covenant after each and every Judge. King David – he broke the covenant with Bathsheba. Unlike the other people, he was repentant and God forgave him and promised that his son with Bathsheba, Solomon, would succeed him as King. The story continues. We're in c. 970 BC. The latter aka, Dia de los Muertos, and All Saints Day, which is very popular in Mexico, Latin America, and Arizona, where I live. The purpose was to convince Christians that they should NOT celebrate Halloween. I mean, come on! Don't we have enough spiritual warfare without encouraging Satan by commemorating him and his demonic cronies every year? I'm not going to get into the history of Halloween again, but I did interview a fascinating guy. A New Strategy? 1 At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of what was known as the Italian Cohort, 2 a devout man who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people, and prayed continually to God. *WHO IS CALLING WHO?* - Lost calling the saved – Are we expecting this?? 6 He is lodging with one Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. (PETER'S ADDRESS!)”7 When the angel who spoke to him had departed, he called two of his servants and a devout soldier from among those who attended him, 8 and having related everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.  *FIRST-TIME OBEDIENCE* 9 The next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray. (WHILE IN PRAYER) 10 And he became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while they were preparing it, he fell into a trance 11 and saw the heavens opened and something like a great sheet descending, being let down by its four corners upon the earth. 17 Now while Peter was inwardly perplexed as to what the vision that he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate 18 and called out to ask whether Simon who was called Peter was lodging there. 19 And while Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. 20 Rise and go down and accompany them without hesitation, for I have sent them.”  *ROLE OF SUPERNATURAL* - New Wineskins often require it. i.e. Muslims*3 encounters + 1 Holy Spirit “says”* - WE can be STUCK in our ways, methods, expectations 21 And Peter went down to the men and said, “I am the one you are looking for. I ask then why you sent for me.” 30 And Cornelius said, “Four days ago, about this hour, I was praying in my house at the ninth hour,  and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear ALL that you have been COMMANDED by the Lord.”  *LOST want to hear ALL* - not watering anything down, avoiding the difficult (Jesus = ONLY WAY, issue of sin/repentance, judgment) 34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality,  35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. 43 To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” (THE GOSPEL)  *Preaching* - not “listening” – an apostle w/ an apostolic mandate*Not just praying for people, prophesying…but also PREACHING! 44 While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on ALL who heard the word.  45 And THE BELIEVERS from among the circumcised who had come with Peter WERE AMAZED, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles. 46 For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared, 47 “Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days. *BELIEVE & BE BAPTIZED – no delays / Spirit baptism! C.    APPLICATION 1.     Meetings in HOMES a. For believers (a church with house groups to a church OF house groups) – my eschatology.  This was/is a “wake up call” Pastor in Oregon – “the church needs to stop being a church WITH house groups and become a church OF house groups.” ROCK Kuwait was back in our house! (March 2020)ROCK OC begins in California (January 2022) b. For the harvest/lost – Iranians getting healed in house meeting in CaliforniaThis new wineskin was a HUGE barrier for Peter – going into THEIR homes! 2.     God pouring out His Spirit? - Iran – 1 million believers? Evangelism in the U.S.?*Both sides needed revelation – Cornelius (lost) & Peter (Christians)*The bigger barrier was on the side of the believers – today? 3.     New means NEW – not going back to normal, will we learn what God has been trying to teach us? New approaches, new lifestyles, new obedience?  Holding things loosely. 4.     Not getting distracted – turn off the other “voices” / be careful WHO you listen to / GOSPEL!!! – “run in such a way that you get the prize” (I Cor 9:24) 5.     Prophetic Direction – only doing what we see/hear the Father doing/sayingWe MUST have a new level of prophetic direction, encounters, guidance! Undoubtedly!!!Names? Addresses? Locations?Expecting MORE dreams and visions?? 6.     Increased Prayer (and fasting?) 7.     Finding the “God Fearers” (the Cornelius types!) 8.     Traps, Deception, False Teaching, Division, Betrayals*expect opposition, criticismThe OLD Wineskin will always criticize (even demonize the new one!)
