The boys from Illinois are back in the studio, ready to bring you their signature blend of wit, humor, and debauchery. Join us as we recap the Pubtime pool party, discuss our experiences in the restaurant industry, and prepare Ryan for the Beer Mile!
Phil and Josh return for a jam packed E163 of the GSP prior to Easter weekend. The crew discusses the battle between eventual winner Josef Newgarden and points leader Pato O'Ward at TMS for IndyCar along with other keys leading to Long Beach. Larson wins his first Cup race of 2023 at Richmond after Byron dominates again while Chandler Smith thanks his smoking hot wife after winning his first XFinity race the day before at RIR. Carson Hocevar gets over the hump in the Craftsman Truck Series by assisting dominant race leader Nick Sanchez into a three truck pileup with Zane Smith and Christian Eckes at the end of a Texas dumpster fire. F1 saw Verstappen win but Lewis Hamilton takes a hard earned second place with Fred Alonso continuing his consistency with a third consecutive podium leading into the first long break of the season. Checo Perez came from tailback to get a top five, McLaren finally earned points and Ferrari continues to be Ferrari. A lean GSP Roundup covers F2/F3 at Albert Park, Supercars at Albert Park, MotoGP/Moto2 in Argentina and NHRA at Pomona before Phil and Josh preview and make picks for Trucks and Cup at the Bristol Dirt Race. Josh lets us know what's going on in the world of sim racing and gaming in his Sim Segment prior to Show Close.
Eric and Dan are back to preview the final 3 games of the Giants' regular season. What will it take for the Giants to make the playoffs, as well as what we could expect if they qualify? We discuss the coming out party of Kayvon Thibodeaux, as well as how the return of Azeez Ojulari has helped to reinvigorate Thibs. We wrap up our Giants discussion with our thoughts on the future of Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley. And Dan adds in a rand about the state of NFL officiating. We hope to return soon with a playoff preview podcast!
Smitty and Rone return as the 1-0 Eagles start their Super Bowl season while the Phillies catapult towards the World Series and James Harden does the damn Vino. We'll hang up and listen.
Phil and Josh return for E122 of the GSP to discuss first time winners in Carlos Sainz (F1), Tyler Reddick (NASCAR Cup) and Logan Sargeant (F2), amongst all the other great racing action from the previous weekend. Phil opens with a rant about league bowling before the guys get into Sainz picking up his first pole and win at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone. Other key talking points included the resurgence of Sir Lewis Hamilton, the recovery by Sergio Perez and the huge 1st lap accident that thankfully saw Zhou Guanyu escape serious injury. NASCAR Cup and XFinity ran at Road America which saw Beau Reddick's dad beat William Clyde Elliott II in a largely uneventful, processional Cup race. In the XFinity race, Ty Gibbs passed defending Cup champion Kyle Larson late but the story was Noah Gragson and his intentional hook of Sage Karam down the back straight, causing a massive pileup. Phil was not happy and expressed as such for his second rant of the show. Scott McLaughlin won his second IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio (mistakenly said 3rd on the show) in an eventful race for the Andretti Autosport teams along with other Chevy powered efforts that had mechanical problems including pole-sitter Pato O'Ward. Alex Palou continues to linger in his title defense while Will Power had an enormous recovery to finish on the podium and cut his deficit to points leader and Indy 500 winner Marcus Ericcson in the points. For the GSP Roundup, Phil goes into the SRX at Stafford and Nashville, F2/F3/W Series at Silverstone, IMSA Weathertech Sports Car Championship at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park along with Michelin Pilot Challenge, Formula E at Marrakesh, Extreme E holding a doubleheader in Sardinia, WEC at Monza and Supercars at Townsville. Phil and Josh preview the Austrian Grand Prix for Formula 1 along with Cup/XFinity at Atlanta for super speedway action while the Trucks return to race at Mid-Ohio. Josh lets us know what's going on in the world of sim racing with his Sim Segment before show close.

Bubba Wallace earned a historic 1st Cup Series win and provided plenty of fodder for different types. The guys go over what it means and how the playoff drivers faired with the ROVAL looming as a cut-off race. Brandon Brown took his first XFinity Series win after the race was shortened due to darkness and had some colorful fans yelling in the background. Josh's Algorithm picked Tate Fogleman and he ended up winning the Truck Series race after dumping John Hunter Nemechek and crashing his own truck in the process. Will Josh continue the bit for the ROVAL? The GSP Roundup covered MotoGP/Moto2 at CoTA, WSBK at Algarve, DTM at Hockenheim and Norisring and IMSA GT at VIR.
