Front Row Motorsports Crew Chief Jon Leonard (7:45) join Davey Segal this week to discuss his new digs at FRM calling the shots for Chandler Smith on the No. 38. Leonard details how late things came together to even make the second FRM Truck Series entry happen, the thrash that ensued to get things ready for Daytona, why Chandler being involved in the hiring process for team members has made everyone closer and how nice it was to get a win early this season at Bristol Motor Speedway. Leonard also discusses his career as a crew chief, calling races for Leavine-Family Racing in the Cup Series for Kasey Kahne and Regan Smith, being promoted admittedly a little too quickly, learning on the fly, being a first-generation racer turned 14-year NASCAR veteran and more. Davey also reviews Austin Cindric's Talladega win, looks ahead to Texas and Papa Segal pays homage to one of the greatest of all-time in Formula 1.

After Rory McIlroy dramatically became the sixth golfer in the modern history of the game to win the career Grand Slam at The Masters, Phil and Josh return to discuss this momentous occassion and everything that went on in the world of motorsports. Kyle Kirkwood added his name to the illustrious history at Long Beach, becoming a two-time winner of the event after winning pole for both races. Alex Palou's early season winning streak was ended, but he still had a strong finish. Multiple pit strategies and a completely green flag race made it interesting, while Penske's performance definitely was not Penske Perfect. Kyle Larson dominated 2/3 of the weekend at Bristol, winning the Cup and XFinity races. Yung Money ended up 2nd behind Chandler Smith in the Truck Series event. Rajah Carruth and Martinsville winner Daniel Hemric both had solid days along with the Niece duo. Oscar Piastri inserted himself into the title discussion with a dominant weekend at Bahrain, culminating in a win from pole. The McLaren driver held off Woody Russell and teammate Lando Norris to take the top step. Fish Lips was nowhere the entire weekend while Ferrari had mixed fortunes. Phil is competing as an Am in the ApexOne GT3 Endurance race at Catalunya, so he gives his thoughts on ACC and his feelings going into the event. Can Phil come through with a victory? Someone who many thought would have a victory at Augusta long before Sunday was Rory McIlroy. The Northern Irishman made it unnecessarily interesting throughout the final round, but held on in the first hole of the playoff to make history. Phil was focused on the Masters because it has always been his favorite golf tournament of the year, while Rory's win also was a happy result. The GSP Roundup covered F2/F3/F1 Academy, IMSA, MotoGP/Moto2, Supercars, Formula E, WSBK, WEC and Anthony Wayne Stewart's first career Top Fuel win at Las Vegas in the Four Wide Nationals, with Austin Prock (Funny Car) and Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock) taking the Wally's in their respective classes. Phil and Josh preview the Rockingham return for XFinity and Trucks and make picks along with the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Formula One race before Josh's Sim Segment and Show Close.
The NASCAR Cup Series, might be off this week, but NASCAR Live still rolls on. On this week's show, Mike Bagley catches up with Kasey Kahne ahead of his return to NASCAR this weekend. Alan Cavanna then catches up with the most recent truck series winner, Chandler Smith. We also explore the history of Rockingham Speedway.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

The CrossFit ecosystem stands at a pivotal crossroads. With Open registrations down roughly 30% and the company officially up for sale, the community finds itself questioning what comes next for the brand that revolutionized fitness worldwide. In this candid conversation, coaches David Syvertsen @davesy85 and Sam Rhee @bergencosmetic break down the factors contributing to CrossFit's current challenges from their perspective as experienced affiliate owners. They explore how the boycott by prominent athletes like Chandler Smith and Patrick Vellner created a ripple effect throughout the community, while significant affiliate fee increases have accelerated gym de-affiliations.Beyond these visible issues lies something potentially more concerning – growing apathy among longtime CrossFitters. This sentiment reflects a deeper challenge for CrossFit than any boycott or business restructuring. As David notes, "My biggest fear if I'm CrossFit why registrations are down is disinterest... it's not people protesting, it's not people just saying my gym's no longer affiliated, it's 'I don't care anymore.'"The discussion turns to potential futures for the brand under new ownership. Will it become increasingly niche and "cult-like" under traditional CrossFit leadership, or will new owners implement dramatic changes that alienate the core community? The hosts analyze how figures like Rich Froning have become essential bridges between CrossFit's roots and its future, while questioning whether adaptation through complementary training models might be necessary for affiliate sustainability. For anyone invested in CrossFit's community, methodology, or business model, this episode offers an unfiltered look at where things stand and what might come next. As affiliates themselves, David and Sam bring both critical analysis and genuine hope that whatever happens with the sale, CrossFit can recapture the magic that made it revolutionary.@crossfitbison @crossfittraining @crossfit @crossfitgames #crossfit #sports #exercise #health #movement #crossfitcoach #agoq #clean #fitness #ItAllStartsHere #CrossFitOpen #CrossFit #CrossFitCommunity @CrossFitAffiliates #supportyourlocalbox #crossfitaffiliate #personalizedfitness

What happens when tragedy strikes at one of the most celebrated fitness events in the world? Hear from coaches David Syvertsen @davesy85 and Sam Rhee @bergencosmetic as we tackle the deeply felt repercussions of Lazar Đukić's tragic drowning at the CrossFit Games last year. This heartbreaking incident has not only fractured the CrossFit community but has also led to a substantial dip in Open registrations. Join us as we examine the actions of prominent athletes like Pat Vellner, Annie Thorisdottir, and Chandler Smith, who have stepped back from the 2025 Games season, and understand the ripple effects this has on the sport, both as a business and a community built on personal conviction and diverse viewpoints. The CrossFit community often blurs the lines between leaders and influencers, and we can't help but spotlight Chandler Smith's influential presence. Our time with key figures such as Patrick Vellner and Dave Castro gave us invaluable insights into the intricacies of leadership within CrossFit HQ. These interactions highlighted the camaraderie that the CrossFit Open fosters, even amidst recent turmoil. We explore how these events shape perceptions of CrossFit's leadership and discuss the need for discernment when choosing whom to follow. As the future of CrossFit unfolds, the tension between CrossFit HQ and professional athletes advocating for change is palpable. Our conversation pivots to the evolving relationship between CrossFit affiliates and the overarching brand, stressing the importance of community involvement over competitive edge. We encourage open dialogue and mutual appreciation, urging listeners to consider multiple perspectives. By embracing diverse viewpoints, we can better navigate the challenges of leadership and change within the vibrant world of CrossFit. Join us for a thoughtful discussion that aims to enrich and reshape our approach to fitness, community, and mindset.@crossfitbison @crossfittraining @crossfit @crossfitgames #crossfit #sports #exercise #health #movement #crossfitcoach #agoq #clean #fitness #ItAllStartsHere #CrossFitOpen #CrossFit #CrossFitCommunity @CrossFitAffiliates #supportyourlocalbox #crossfitaffiliate #personalizedfitness

Denny Hamlin and Jared Allen break down all the action from Richmond, including the race's hottest topic – the final restart. Chandler Smith wins the NASCAR Xfinity race but Joey Gase & Dawson Cram steal the show. Why couldn't Denny go golfing on Saturday (12:30)? Did NASCAR make the right call with wet-weather tires and non-competitive cautions (16:00)? The caution for Kyle Busch hitting the wall screwed up some teams' race strategy (25:50). It was nearly impossible to pass at the end of the race, and Denny was prepared for a third-place finish (34:00). A last-second caution gave Denny life and his pit crew crushed the money stop (41:00). Kyle Larson wrecked and came out with a better finishing position (44:50).
