In "EVERY" story, myth, legend, folk-lore, parable or fable is a message. What you do with that information is to be first seen as someone method of transmitting something especially and divinely constructed for your hearing.  YOURS IS TO ATTAIN THE WISDOM FROM THE TRANSMISSION OF THE MESSAGE AND THE REMOVE THAT WHICH NO LONGER SERVES YOUR BEST AND HIGHEST GOOD FOR THE POSITIVE TRANSFORMATION OF CREATION!!!  The Lake can only reflect what it see, because the Lake is a body of water as is all water, it is flexible and reflectable... yet it is not compressible. You are the power of the force of the thing that you are reflective of...and You are the power of the thing of which you are representative because we all MUST REPRESENT..."PRESENTLY IN THE EVERY MOMENT OF NOW! BUT, what do you represent and what are you representing?  You cannot represent anything without being representative of the power and authority you have been granted. "The Way" is actually what was the ministry of the "Earthly Son of Man/Son of God/Saviour of the Earthly Kingdom of God. "The Opening of the Way" is a critical component that develops our spiritual evolution globally.  There is no attack when you recognize that there is no separation when the spirit of Truth is Our Guiding light!  Every Story is the transmission of a message from which we all must gain the wisdom and remove what no longer serves

Aligning your business with God for some may seem like a totally out-there concept to bring business and God together and for others a walk in the park and they are all over it.I know being on this business journey for eight years now that there are seasons where I feel I am so close to God I can hear Him breathe and there are other seasons where life just gets SO busy I don’t feel like I have taken the time to spend with God and life can feel a little empty and you ask yourself if you’re actually aligned with God.Whatever season you’re in, I am not here to condemn you or give you another thing to add to your “To-Do” list. Instead, I am going to give you some simple practical steps you can do throughout the day to get yourself and your business realigned and back in the swing of things with Jesus by your side.Before we get into the steps I want to just put two things on the table.Firstly, even though you might be feeling distant right now, God is still with you and the Holy Spirit is still inside you. He’s not gone anywhere and He’s here to stay, so even though you might be “feeling” alone. You’re not, God is with you and He has you.Second, personally, I believe people have put way too much enthusiast into the “your calling”, “finding your calling” and “hearing the voice of God” so please don’t feel like just because you can’t “hear” the voice of God you’re not a good person or less of a person or Christian either. That’s a silly lie, God is with you because when you gave your life to Jesus the Holy Spirit entered in your soul and all that’s available in heaven is right at your fingertips. You got this, and God’s got you!We’re going to go through this aligning process in a very gentle way.I encourage you, even if you’re a dedicated prayer warrior to still take part in this exercise as God can speak to everyone at all different stages.1. Let’s start with the foundations – The dream – Sugar, God has given you a passion, dream or vision for a reason. That niggling feeling you have in your heart to change the world or to have/start your business. God put it there. Listen to it. By listening to it, you’re naturally walking in obedience and yes there will be tough times, times of learning, adapting and making tough decisions BUT by taking the step, you’re aligning yourself with whom God made you.2. Jesus is the CEO of your business, but most importantly He is your Saviour. Salvation first, business second! I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve sat down with God to “talk about business” and the next thing I know He’s taking me through some healing in my life that’s TOTALLY NOT BIZ RELATED! lol. Ouchy! It’s still important that Jesus has access to every part of your life, yes we totally want Him to be part of our business and to guide us, asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom and knowledge is a great thing to do, but don’t make it all about business either.God still wants to relate to you on a deeper level, He’s got your business sorted honey, He is more interested in your heart!3. If something doesn’t seem right on a phone call or in a meeting, (you know, that sicky feeling when you know something isn’t right that you get in your belly) LISTEN TO IT. That’s the Holy Spirit telling you something isn’t right. Be brave, listen to the feeling and stand your ground. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what the problem is, but DO NOT say yes to something just to people-please or to because you feel you have to.A polite, “Thank you so much for this wonderful offer, but at this time I am going to have to pass.” if fine! We don’t need to explain our decisions to anyone.God will bless you in your obedience, even when it’s saying “Not now” to something.4. Don’t be afraid to ask God for help. Or ask Him to put someone around you who can help you with a tricky situation, chances are, He’s already got someone lined up with the exact words/answers you need to hear!5. Have a day off. Sounds totally opposite to what you “should” be doing in a busy season. But trust me, some time away can be just what you need and God will drop the golden nuggets when you take time off.I’ve also asked our community members what aligning their business with God means to them so let’s take a read…Susanna Bateman – “To have my business aligned with God to me means He shows me His plans, the dreams He has for LM, the things He wants to achieve in and through LM, us stopping and listening to His voice as He downloads what’s on His heart and then us being obedient and in faith stepping it out IN HIS STRENGTH and HIS WISDOM.We always are in consultation with God asking Him to have His way because it is His tool here on earth to extend His Kingdom, it is not our business or our little empire, it is a tool in which He releases His Spirit on earth in so many and varied ways.I could go on and on what this really means and how we walk this out in everyday practice but it would take a long time because we have surrendered LM to God over and over again, on a daily basis.So He He is IN EVERY part of LM from why LM exist, to how it operates, to how it brings glory to God, to how we serve Him in EVERY area from the smallest detail to the huge decisions that need to be made.There is nothing like the joy and freedom that comes when we align our business with God and His eternal plans here on earth to deliver His kingdom here on earth and have the awesome privilege of being His hands and feet in His mission.I guess we are like Moses, we don’t want to climb any mountain unless God is with us because we know very well, we can do nothing in our own strength and nothing compares to walking IN Him”.Helen Wakefield – “To me it’s not only about following where he leads in the business, but also aligning my conduct and practices with his values. How I treat and respond to staff and clients, as well as making decisions in a way that pleases God as opposed to what you’re technically allowed to do”.Megan Horsfall – “To me, it means – making sure that my core business values line up with the Word of God. That the way I treat people is reflective of those values, but also that the way I treat myself and my business lines up too. I have to value others as well as valuing what God has put in my lap. I have to value myself and my time too.When I make big decisions for my business, I bring God into it, I pray about it and listen. … but I also need to remember that God has given me wisdom in this business and I have to use that to make choices and decisions daily and I have to trust that wisdom too”.Stephanie Mammarella – “Wow! So aligning my business by his word is really important as I am still in the early stages of getting it done right. I find I am leaning on him more now than ever and i seem to be in a continual state of waiting and stepping out and waiting to see what God will allow next. It’s new ground still but it’s worth it. Because the end result means supplying others with what they need. I want you to think about the last time you experienced adversity. Big, small, it doesn’t matter.   Most of us have a pretty easy time coming up with adversity because we face it ALL THE TIME. In EVERY facet of our lives.   Our relationships, our careers, our day to day life. We experience adversity all the time.  Unfortunately, our mind’s natural tendency when things get difficult is to try to avoid. To chatter at us, to try to influence us to have a drink, distract ourselves, or procrastinate until the problem goes away. We attempt to avoid, and we miss out on the opportunity to thrive through the adversity and grow stronger as a result of it.  Today, on this episode, I want to dive deep into the topic of psychological flexibility. This is a skill that has been shown to help people, not only move through adversity, but THRIVE through it and grow as a result of it.  Specifically, I want to dive deep into the 6 facets of psychological flexibility and give you some tips and tricks for applying them when you’re in a challenging situation in the future.  This skill is something you learn, not something you check the box on. This means, you’re likely to be pretty bad at it at first. That’s ok! It’s going to feel awkward. But, as you keep practicing, you’ll get better, smoother, more natural. And, the power of this skill will go to work for you.  Stick around to the end of this episode. Every birth is the Christmas story.   In EVERY conception is the Christmas story.  It is the Divine and the human coming together in each and every conception.   Chances are, you have probably been told that the Christmas story is only about the birth of one man, two thousand years ago, who was the light of the world.  The Christmas story is typically understood as the divine incarnating as a human being (Jesus) who is called Emmanuel (which means God with us).  Chances are, you've been told that Jesus is the real reason for the Christmas season.  If this is the case, I believe you are actually missing the main point of the Christmas story.  The real lasting and enduring power of the Christmas story isn't only about the human incarnation of divinity through the birth of Jesus, its about divine incarnation in each and every birth.  Before you react negatively to this reframing of the Christmas story, let me encourage you to listen in entirety to this latest episode of The Love Cast as my bride Taylor and I discuss why the real miracle of Christmas points to the birth of humanity as a whole (including you and me), not just one man.  The implications for our lives are many.

United Airlines Flight 173 was the watershed event that launched the establishment of Crew Resource Management (CRM) throughout the airline industry. That accident occurred thirty years ago. With the widespread acceptance of CRM in airline operations, one would surmise that crew communication issues would be a thing of the past. Unfortunately, that’s not the way it has worked out. We have no way to determine how many times a Captain has disregarded a First Officer’s suggestions or comments and there is no adverse effect, but we do   numerous accidents where this has been a causal factor. Take, for example, the case of Air Florida Flight 90, three years after Flight 173. During the takeoff roll, the First Officer expressed concern about the airplane’s performance. Three times the former F-15 pilot First Officer expressed concern. “That don't seem right, does it? Ah, that's not right.” The Captain answered, “Yes it is, there's eighty.”. Then, twelve seconds later, the First Officer said “Naw, I don't think that's right. Ah, maybe it is.”. Twelve more seconds and the First Officer said: “I don't know.”. So was this simply a case of the pre-CRM philosophy that “the Captain is God”, early in the use of CRM? After all, in the old days, the Captain WAS God! Consider Ernest Gann’s book Fate Is The Hunter, in which he recounts his Captain holding lit matches in front of his face as he flew a challenging instrument approach to minimums - with passengers aboard! But that was then, this is now, right? I wish that were true, but I believe there are still far too many of “Captain-God’s” out there. When I was flying for a major airline in Asia, on  several occasions I made errors (thankfully, all minor) and never heard a word from my First Officers. During our post-flight debriefing, I inquired why they had not advised me of a potential problem, especially since I had specifically briefed them to do so. (“I’d rather be embarrassed in the cockpit than on the evening news”). In EVERY case the response was, roughly, “Captain, I did not want to disagree with you”! I suspect there is a cultural aspect to this, wherein First Officers are used to being disregarded. In 2007 Garuda Indonesia Airways Flight 200 crashed following an unstable approach in which the First Officer repeatedly advised the Captain that the approach was unstabilized and to go around. The Captain ignored him, attempting to salvage a landing by descending at 4000 feet per minute, and crashed. In 2010 India Air Express Flight 812 also crashed on landing. The Captain was the pilot flying, and the first Officer had said “Go around” three times, the first being on two-mile final. Of the 160 passengers and crew, only 8 passengers survived. And, it apears to be a problem world-wide. First Air Flight 6560 crashed in 2011 attempting an ILS in Canada. The First Officer specifically advised the Captain that the GPS showed them off course to the right, and that the localizer was showing full-scale deflection. He also said “Go around”. Altogether, the First Offficer expressed clear concern THIRTEEN TIMES. Yet the Captain continued the approach. Everyone onboard died. Psychologists will tell us there are valid reasons for the pilot flying not wanting to go around when another crew member who has less professional image at stake has no problem abandoning the approach. Let me posit a concept that should appeal to EVERY pilot - money. When you go around, the flight lasts longer, and you get more flight pay! Depending on your operation, you may be required to submit some sort of report. So be it. Here’s a suggestion for First Officers: if you EVER experience a Captain ignoring your suggestion to go around, visit your chief pilot or Professional Standards Committee immediately! Let’s not lose sight of the requirement that common carriers, such as scheduled airlines, are REQUIRED to exercise the HIGHEST degree of safety in performing their duties. Unless you are operating in an emergency fuel situation, continuing an unstabilized approach does not satisfy that requirement. Bottom line: it’s not WHO is right, it’s WHAT is right!

Rabbi Yeshua (Jesus) very plainly said that those who continue in His Word are truly His disciples (talmidim). The purpose of this podcast teaching is to provide a model for the works … AND … the workers of Messiah Jesus. Personal examples and experiences will be provided―as well as resources― to help YOU―the reader and listener―be ALL God wants you to be. ________________________________________ DISCIPLESHIP: THE MODELMIRACLES OR RELIGION ~ A MIRACLE PODCAST PRODUCTION ~ JESUS IS YOUR ROLE MODEL Two-thirds of Jesus' ministry was concerned with―or directed at―healing. “And it came to pass also on another Sabbath, that He entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered. And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on Sabbath; that they might find an accusation against him. But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, 'Rise up, and stand forth in the midst.' And he arose and stood forth. Then said Jesus unto the religious leaders, 'I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on Sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?' And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, 'Stretch forth your hand.' And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other. And the religious leaders were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.” (Brit Chadashah: Luke 6:6-11) Jesus could well have asked them, “Why are you so angry with me?” Why do you think the religious leaders were angry with Jesus? Here may be some reasons: They were jealous of Him. (They had NO power … only control of people.) He was drawing away their followers. He was shining the light on their superficiality. JESUS STILL WORKS TODAY Several times in the past I have been invited to speak in public high schools in Southern California USA. Even though public prayer and Bible reading were banned years ago, the drug problem was so bad in these schools that they knew Jesus could help them. In every public high school where I spoke, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit operated through me. In EVERY high school the LORD would show me a student (that I did NOT know) and a situation in their body. Then, I would call them forward and share with them what the LORD had told me about them. I would pray for them … and EVERY time they would be instantly healed. One time a denominational pastor called me on the phone after I had been on a campus where the LORD had healed and saved a girl that previously had been the biggest “bad-mouth” against Jesus on that campus. He said, “We have worked for years on that campus trying to gain a foothold … and you come in and cause “commotion.” I asked him politely, “If you mean by 'commotion' that students were praying to receive Christ after a girl was healed and saved, then I guess I am guilty.” It wasn't one week later when I received another invitation to come to a High School in Orange County to speak. Right before I left to drive to the school I called that denominational pastor and told him, “I received another invitation to speak at a public high school a few days ago. I am just leaving to go there, and I wanted to ask you if it is OK to heal on the Sabbath?!” Then I hung up. He never bothered me again. JESUS HAS PRECEPTS Today we see many large churches. Does this mean the sheep are being fed, or does it mean they are being fed but NOT nutritious food. Lots of restaurants cater to large crowds but does that mean the food is nutritious? Large churches (mega churches) are NOT necessarily a sign of productive ministry in the eyes of the LORD. To be a productive church the shepherd leader must attempt to form and lead a POWER church: a real New Testament church. Programs and cell groups mean nothing if people are not being instructed in the ministry precepts of Jesus. WHAT are those precepts? Let's look at what Jesus instructed His followers to do: 1. Preach and teach; 2. Heal the sick; and, 3. Cast out demons. Also, let's look at the Great Commission: " … teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you …" (Matthew 28:20) Pastors that do NOT minister healing and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit are cheating their flock out of 67 percent of the ministry of Jesus. They are omitting 2 out of 3 parts of Jesus' ministry. They preach and teach but they are NOT serving healing or deliverance―#2 and #3 shown above―to their people. This is corruption. It is stealing … it is cheating God's people AND the people who could be saved by witnessing the healing and miracle power of God. Why do they do this? Usually because they do NOT believe in healing. Or, they will tell you, "I believe Jesus can heal," or, "We have had people healed." However, the TRUTH may be that they do NOT know HOW to minister healing so they dismiss it. That is, they either do NOT believe Jesus will heal, or they do NOT have the faith to pray or believe for healing. The same applies to MIRACLES … real miracles! The truth is: to minister healing and deliverance they need the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Healing ministry should be a part of all church worship services, or at least one service a week designated for healing. But what about people who are sick, diseased, bound, or afflicted who come to ANY service in need of healing, deliverance, or prayer? The same applies to the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and instruction concerning it. CONTINUE IN HIS WORD “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, 'If you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed.'” ‒ John 8:31 I recently told a man who is struggling in his walk with the LORD, “Do me a favor: Don't get religious … just follow Jesus!” The only Bible instruction he is receiving is one time a week at the church he attends where he is told from the pulpit to write in three (3) words in an outline from the pastor's sermon. I explained to him that he needs to study―and learn―the Holy Bible if he wants to grow strong … for himself and for the LORD. Now … what are your ministry gifts (for others) from the LORD? Are you a writer? A pastor? A prophet? A film editor? And … you may have a combination of gifts with which the LORD has enabled you. However, whatever your gifting(s) you are to have as a primary goal the making of disciples. By God's grace, I have been involved developing disciples for over 50 years. It is a blessing to SEE what the LORD accomplishes through people who are yielded to and love Him. From ALL backgrounds of society and culture and education (or, lack of it) I have seen God do amazing things. This is what He promised: “Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12) MAKE DISCIPLES FOR JESUS However, I have never known a person to be a greatly used disciple that was NOT a student of the Holy Bible and that was NOT reading God's Word daily. We never get too old―or too experienced―that we do NOT need to spend time in God's Word every day. When we first started the Free Bible Studies by Mail, we kept a record of progress of each student. You could visually see in a file box of 3 x 5 index cards the commitment of students (the diligence of disciples). More completed the Intro Lesson, and progressively less for each lesson completed. But … praise God for those who were diligent and completed the whole course. One Catholic Nun from New York completed the whole course and flew to visit me in California. She later wrote me that she was training a group of 1,500 people about Jesus, about the Holy Spirit and about how to operate in the gifts of the Spirit. Another young man I had the privilege of “pouring into” personally prayed with over 170,000 people to receive Christ … PLUS trained many others to do personal evangelism. (See link at bottom for his Anointed Soul Winning Plan.) Remember, AFTER people know the LORD, they need to GROW in the LORD. This is WHAT Jesus commanded us to do: make disciples. ________________________________ CHALLENGE My challenge to you is this: Pray that the LORD leads you to people who WANT to be discipled … those who WANT to learn God's Word … and GROW and SERVE the LORD. ________________________________ Almost every day I am discipling people. These are in addition to those I have ordained into the ministry … and in addition to the various ministries the LORD has assigned me. We have so many tools available to us: texting, social media, blogs and podcasts. Remember, when this life is over it will be too late. Let's impact the world while we're here. A continuous War… since life first appeared on earth. In Every infection a human being develops is a frenetic race for existence between the microbial invaders, and the host being invaded.
