Did you want to start your year well? Have a listen to this week's podcast where Lorellee Colley shares prophetic words! Truly a blessing. Did you know that at each conference we have a prophetic session? As we have a mixture of all different denominations at our conference, some people might be a little bit put off by them. But let me tell you, you have nothing to fear. The whole Old Testament is in fact is prophetic. Prophesying about Jesus. We look at some of the beautiful Psalms that David wrote about the days leading up to Jesus's resurrection. It's mind-blowing.We find this session to be inspiring for business owners who long to please God and hear what He has to say. Don't be surprised if things are brought up that aren't necessarily business-related ;-).At our 2022 conference, Lorellee will not only be doing a prophetic session but will also be taking us through a session on Abrahams's Blessings. We can't wait to share these sessions with you!You can grab your ticket here: https://christianwomen.com/annual-conference/ See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Today, we are releasing our 200th podcast of the Christian Women in Business and Leadership Podcast Show
This week, I wanted to share with you what started out as 5 but turned into 9 top tools I use in my business. When I first started in online business back in 2014, I was still working 2 jobs while trying to do the online business thing. So I needed to find a way to set everything up as smartly as possible so I wasn’t wasting what precious time I had on tasks that could be automated. Most of these tools have been with me since the beginning and I LOVE using them and having them. Once they are all set up, they run like a well oiled machine and have served me SO well and saved me thousands of hours.1. Gmail – I have all my business emails forwarded to one Gmail account so I am only going to one place to check everything. I also have the email account set up in there so that I can send from those emails too.2. Acuity Scheduling – My online calendar I use for people to set up all their appointments with me.It works out everything in their time zone, so there’s no back a forth trying to work it all out. It’s linked with my Active Campaign and Zoom, (so each appointment is given it’s own Zoom link automatically) and it also sends reminders via email (you can upgrade to SMS if you wish).I also use it to take payments for people wanting to book in for mentoring.3. Active Campaign – I use to send all our automated emails out to clients. It’s very powerful and set up logically so your brain doesn’t hurt too much when you’re setting automations up.4. Trello – The glue that holds our team together. We have all our tasks set up in Trello which means we all know what’s going on and who is doing what. We have boards set up for our podcast, weekly routines and Ad Hoc tasks.I will be sharing how my Trello board works and looks in an up coming Business Bundle in the CWIB Membership. (Same will all the tools actually ;-))5. Website – We use a WordPress website and a mixture of plugins to make it the platform it is today.BONUS –Content Snare – To get information from people, it’s sends them automated emails to remind them to do the task

She shares some reset points to encourage us to rest in God even when we’re in a funk! Have a listen♥️1. Sit down for some prayer time, grab a beverage of choice and bring out your calendar.2. Pray and ask for God to give you strength and for Him to pray for you.3. Look at why you originally started your journey. If it’s your business, what’s your mission, for example, mine is to encourage women. To remind yourself why you’re doing what you’re doing.4. Set yourself some new goals. Spend some time working the goals out and getting excited about them. Put times in your calendar.5. Pray some more and sit with God.6. Know & trust that God has still got you, even when you’re in a funk.If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed, lost or just not feeling it at the moment and would like to a little pick-me-up? In this video, I go through examples of how I (and you) can avoid the “low” in our leadership and business journey after launches, conferences, events, anything big really lol.RECAP…Pre-Event/project:+ Block out your calendar to event/project meetings only+ Rest and don’t do any stressful exercise+ Eat good food and carbs+ Say no to everything else during that time (I take at least 3/4 months off from doing other business ventures ie The Automation Girl.+ Already have your new goal set or thing to work towards after event.During the event/project:+ Eat good food the best you can+ Don’t expect a lot from yourself apart to perform at the event (no meetings and no stressful exercise (stretch and breathing is AWESOME!)(Introverted leaders)+ No people at least 3 days before the event if you can+ Between sessions, find a room where you can be alone, eat alone and have a nap. Just be in a place where it’s quiet and no interaction with others.Post-event/project:+ Have time off for as long as you need+ Be kind to yourself and listen to your body (grace zone) don’t let people push you back to “work” before you’re ready.+ Start thinking about the goal/project you set yourself before the said event/project and start dreaming up ideas for it.Week 3 post-event/project you will hopefully feel back to yourself and ready to go.I hope you find this helpful and gives you permission to find out what works for you and your body/personality.It’s all a forever learning journey with no destination, just more opportunities to grow our faith and trust in ourselves.Have a fab week!SJ x See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Welcome to a brand new year. I am excited a pumped but at the same time. I am not going into this year thinking that just because the dates of the year have rolled over that things will be just back to normal. But instead, I am going to embrace the opportunities that come before me and do the best that I can with them. Not asking God to take them away, but to ask the Holy Spirit for the wisdom of how to navigate so I can learn and grow into a better vessel for God in all that we do.We are just four weeks out from the cut date that our tickets close for the conference, it’s coming around fast!! Exited much! To avoid not getting a bed and to not miss out on the conference I encourage you to get your ticket purchased now to save your spot! This also means we are 6 weeks away from launching CWIL! Holy Moly, don’t panic. When God gave me the word that I needed to expand my tent to allow growth for CWIB and CWIL I decided to do a couple of things and I hope that this encourages you in your Esteem if God’s ask you to take it up a noch in your business to this year.I have to admit, it was when I was feeling really worn out and was deciding whether to go on or not that God told me it’s time to expand. At a point where I felt like I had given CWIB all I had. That’s the turning point also where CWIL start to perk her head up and I knew it was time to start working towards our sister arm too. It’s always when we’re in moments of despair where these things come out.And so I looked at what I was really worn out with doing, because if I was going to continue with CWIB and launch CWIL I needed to bring in some reinforcements. The two things that came up for me were…1. Marketing (believe it or not, now I love marketing, I love all that I do with The Automation Girl) but I feel I am all out in this area. I’ve given it my 110% but I knew that if we’re going to expand that marketing was one of the areas I wanted to get some more heads involved and do fill in the spaces that I am not willing to do or learn in marketing and that’s paid ads.Nearly everything we’ve done in our marketing up until this point has been organic apart from a few ads.So we have taken on a team to help us do that. To help us recognise our weaknesses and see them as opportunities to grow and improve.2. The day to day running of CWIB and conference organisation, especially with the whole COVID thing which really hurts my head. It’s not trusting in God bit that hurts. It’s all the paperwork and special things we have to do at the conference that hurts my head.So getting someone in to help me with making sure everything is running tick-tock and to help with that side of things for the conference is a HUGE help and has freed my mind.I must say, these are all God, faith moves. We’re not a million-dollar business. But we are a faithful one and we believe that when God gives us a word then we move on it, no questions asked. So we have. With this has had come some growth and belief on my part and if you’re feeling like it’s time to pump up the reves I know that you’re going to be feeling those growing pains too.Self-doubt may have kicked in, being challenged to do different things in your marketing. That’s one that has really had me out of my comfort zones.Yes, I do the podcasts for CWIB and my face is the founder’s face but I have always hidden behind the brand and thought that I need to set up a personal brand to keep me out of CWIB as much as possible. I believe or believed it’s about the community and not me.As Jess and I met to talk about the marketing plans for CWIB (Jess if you’re listening haha!) We had a great discussion about this as Jess went through a similar thing I am going through. That’s being ok with putting your face with the brand and not hiding behind it.It’s being ok with talking about what matters to you and inspiring people knowing that putting yourself out there isn’t making it about you but making it still about them.I am sure there are some of you listening right now thinking, yep that’s me too! Built a brand so I could hide behind it!But, we are in a day and age where people want to relate and build relationships with humans and we, my friends, are those humans people want to relate to whether we like it or not.So you’re going to be seeing my face around a little more. I encourage you too to get your face out from behind your brand and begin to own your values and what you stand for, these are the things that people will relate to.(Time to get over needing to look perfect all the time on camera and just doing the FB lives & sharing those story videos haha!)One of our words for this conference is Esteem, not in a holding yourself higher then anyone way.But not being afraid to put ourselves out there for the Kingdom and for our businesses not being afraid of what other people might think, but instead serving those who need our products and services.Esteem means respect and admire. This year I am going to work on and I challenge you to do the same too, and that’s to respect and admire my self more and the dreams I have. Not giving into self-doubt and fear, but becoming a strong woman of God.Shining that light so bright that I beams. And so, I challenge you, lovely lady, it’s time to build your esteem, stop caring about what other people think, or that they might be offended because you’re doing something that they want to do and they’re jealous. We have grace, but we also don’t have time for that. We’re building God’s Kingdom and it’s time for us to step up and step out for Him.If that means doing more Facebook lives and putting our faces out there then so be it!He’s got us and He’s got you! Now is your time to step up and step out.Screw those who want to pull us back, and to screw ourselves if we are letting anyone stopping us from chasing our dream. We are Christian Women in Business and we are moving forward for the Kingdom of God. Today I was doing some research into how our podcast are going as the year comes to an end, I don’t do it very often because I like to focus on serving people and giving value over the numbers but I thought I would jump on and have a look. We’ve had over 300,000 downloads!I couldn’t believe it when I looked. So before we get into the podcast today I just want to spend some time and thank you all who listen! You mean the world to me and I am so very grateful for your support and loyalty to our show.It takes ALOT of hard work and time behind the scenes to put a podcast together, we have been going for nearly four years now and that’s a lot of time of me talking to myself in a room with a microphone.I have to say, it’s still a very weird thing to talk to yourself into a microphone, compared to an audience where you can see peoples expressions and really interact with them.I really do hope that our podcast inspires you in your business journey and you hear God’s sweet voice and promptings talking to your or that He drops those golden nuggets for you as you listen.I don’t normally do this either but I would love it, if you could please go onto iTunes or whichever software you listen to this podcast through and give us a review and share it with your friends. All the reviews really do help me keep going with the show and let me know that our listeners are really humans and not just a download number on my screen.I have to be honest. There have been times when I have wanted to give up the podcast, but I’ve had amazing people around me who have encouraged me to keep going and God always ends up putting something in my heart to talk about. But I can’t say it’s been easy to be consistent and keep going week after week. How blessed am I to have this podcast one might think. Aligning your business with God for some may seem like a totally out-there concept to bring business and God together and for others a walk in the park and they are all over it.I know being on this business journey for eight years now that there are seasons where I feel I am so close to God I can hear Him breathe and there are other seasons where life just gets SO busy I don’t feel like I have taken the time to spend with God and life can feel a little empty and you ask yourself if you’re actually aligned with God.Whatever season you’re in, I am not here to condemn you or give you another thing to add to your “To-Do” list. Instead, I am going to give you some simple practical steps you can do throughout the day to get yourself and your business realigned and back in the swing of things with Jesus by your side. Before we get into the steps I want to just put two things on the table.Firstly, even though you might be feeling distant right now, God is still with you and the Holy Spirit is still inside you. He’s not gone anywhere and He’s here to stay, so even though you might be “feeling” alone. You’re not, God is with you and He has you.Second, personally, I believe people have put way too much enthusiast into the “your calling”, “finding your calling” and “hearing the voice of God” so please don’t feel like just because you can’t “hear” the voice of God you’re not a good person or less of a person or Christian either. That’s a silly lie, God is with you because when you gave your life to Jesus the Holy Spirit entered in your soul and all that’s available in heaven is right at your fingertips. You got this, and God’s got you! We’re going to go through this aligning process in a very gentle way.I encourage you, even if you’re a dedicated prayer warrior to still take part in this exercise as God can speak to everyone at all different stages.1. Let’s start with the foundations – The dream – Sugar, God has given you a passion, dream or vision for a reason. That niggling feeling you have in your heart to change the world or to have/start your business. God put it there. Listen to it. By listening to it, you’re naturally walking in obedience and yes there will be tough times, times of learning, adapting and making tough decisions BUT by taking the step, you’re aligning yourself with whom God made you.2. Jesus is the CEO of your business, but most importantly He is your Saviour. Salvation first, business second! I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve sat down with God to “talk about business” and the next thing I know He’s taking me through some healing in my life that’s TOTALLY NOT BIZ RELATED! lol. Ouchy! It’s still important that Jesus has access to every part of your life, yes we totally want Him to be part of our business and to guide us, asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom and knowledge is a great thing to do, but don’t make it all about business either.God still wants to relate to you on a deeper level, He’s got your business sorted honey, He is more interested in your heart!3. If something doesn’t seem right on a phone call or in a meeting, (you know, that sicky feeling when you know something isn’t right that you get in your belly) LISTEN TO IT. That’s the Holy Spirit telling you something isn’t right. Be brave, listen to the feeling and stand your ground. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what the problem is, but DO NOT say yes to something just to people-please or to because you feel you have to.A polite, “Thank you so much for this wonderful offer, but at this time I am going to have to pass.” if fine! We don’t need to explain our decisions to anyone.God will bless you in your obedience, even when it’s saying “Not now” to something.4. Don’t be afraid to ask God for help. Or ask Him to put someone around you who can help you with a tricky situation, chances are, He’s already got someone lined up with the exact words/answers you need to hear!5. Have a day off. Sounds totally opposite to what you “should” be doing in a busy season. But trust me, some time away can be just what you need and God will drop the golden nuggets when you take time off.I’ve also asked our community members what aligning their business with God means to them so let’s take a read…Susanna Bateman – “To have my business aligned with God to me means He shows me His plans, the dreams He has for LM, the things He wants to achieve in and through LM, us stopping and listening to His voice as He downloads what’s on His heart and then us being obedient and in faith stepping it out IN HIS STRENGTH and HIS WISDOM.We always are in consultation with God asking Him to have His way because it is His tool here on earth to extend His Kingdom, it is not our business or our little empire, it is a tool in which He releases His Spirit on earth in so many and varied ways.I could go on and on what this really means and how we walk this out in everyday practice but it would take a long time because we have surrendered LM to God over and over again, on a daily basis. So He He is IN EVERY part of LM from why LM exist, to how it operates, to how it brings glory to God, to how we serve Him in EVERY area from the smallest detail to the huge decisions that need to be made. There is nothing like the joy and freedom that comes when we align our business with God and His eternal plans here on earth to deliver His kingdom here on earth and have the awesome privilege of being His hands and feet in His mission.I guess we are like Moses, we don’t want to climb any mountain unless God is with us because we know very well, we can do nothing in our own strength and nothing compares to walking IN Him”.Helen Wakefield – “To me it’s not only about following where he leads in the business, but also aligning my conduct and practices with his values. How I treat and respond to staff and clients, as well as making decisions in a way that pleases God as opposed to what you’re technically allowed to do”.Megan Horsfall – “To me, it means – making sure that my core business values line up with the Word of God. That the way I treat people is reflective of those values, but also that the way I treat myself and my business lines up too. I have to value others as well as valuing what God has put in my lap. I have to value myself and my time too. When I make big decisions for my business, I bring God into it, I pray about it and listen. … but I also need to remember that God has given me wisdom in this business and I have to use that to make choices and decisions daily and I have to trust that wisdom too”.Stephanie Mammarella – “Wow! So aligning my business by his word is really important as I am still in the early stages of getting it done right. I find I am leaning on him more now than ever and i seem to be in a continual state of waiting and stepping out and waiting to see what God will allow next. It’s new ground still but it’s worth it. Because the end result means supplying others with what they need. It’s really important for me that I keep going even though there is no fruit yet because although progress is small, it’s still answered prayers when I look back and see how far I have come!”Deirdre Coleman – “For me aligning my business with God means aligning my business with carrying out my calling ..either directly or indirectly by providing the funds to do so or at least a stepping stone to getting me closer to being able to carry it out”.ARE YOU READY TO CREATE A POSITIVE CULTURE OR COMMUNITY THROUGH YOUR MARKETING & LEADERSHIP?LADY, WE ARE SO EXCITED TO BRING TO YOU THE CWIB COMMUNITY CONFERENCE/RETREAT FOR 2021!WE HOPE YOU’RE READY FOR AN AWESOME TIME…DATES: 20TH FEB TO 21ST FEB 2021LOCATION: ALEXANDRA PARK, ALEXANDRA HEADLANDS, SUNSHINE COAST, QLD, AUSTRALIAGRAB YOUR TICKETFounder Sarah-Jane Meeson was given a word to inspire women. Influence – Do you understand what being a business owner is in the Kingdom of God and what influence you have?We will be exploring these things at a conference in Feb, also, we want to help develop you further in your leadership… We are going to be launching something very special at the conference and our aim in the next season is to support and lift up those in critical leadership roles.Questions you might have about the conference…1. Is it just for CWIB Members? – No it’s not it’s for everyone! A lot of our members come because they love to opportunity to catch up with other members and meet them face to face, as well as the value and calibre of speakers and what each of them bring.2. Is it for just Christians? – No, literally any is welcome to join conference those who know Jesus and those who don’t.3. Is it for ladies who already have a business? – Nope, we encourage any woman who is thinking about starting a business or those who have been in business for twenty years! You will be in a room full of the wisdom of those in business that you can ask questions and be inspired.4. The conference ticket price has gone up this year how come? – We are at a different venue this year and the venue charges more for each person to stay so the prices had to go up so we don’t kick ourselves in the foot and leave ourselves short. It’s still great value for money. I don’t know many business conferences out there, that are under $700.00AUD’s and offer accommodation as well as food and conference entry fee.People will be surprised at how much conferences are to run, but our God is big and He supplies. So if He wants you to be there, don’t even look at the numbers, instead look to God. He will supply.*As a side note, we don’t make a profit from the conferences and our Founder SJ doesn’t get paid for it either. We hold our conferences because we believe in the power of them, we believe in all the women out there and what they are doing through their businesses and we want to encourage, strengthen, and unite them. This is just one of those avenues that accomplishes that and that the Holy Spirit has anointed.5. How do the room allocations work? – Unless requested, we organise room allocations a week before the conference, this is because things happen, people have emergencies come up so, in order to not disappoint we pick them a week beforehand.Conference rooms are twin or triple share this year, again, because of how the conference centre runs.Who is our conference for…? If for women who…Want to come for a weekend of restoration in Jesus. For those who want to re-cup, recharge, and spend some time with God to work on their businesses or their dreams. It’s for those who want to expand their faith and be encouraged to think out of the box and deepen their relationship with God.It’s for those who want to get around other women so they can learn and make forever friends with. It’s for those who want to learn about marketing and leadership. If you’re thinking it’s time to expand your business/team and bring on extra staff or even your first team member. You can learn from those who have gone before you. It’s for those who give and need some time to receive and be filled up.…and it’s for the woman out there who has dreams that are bigger than herself. So if you’re a Christian woman in business or planning on being, we’d love to invite you to join a weekend like no other…20th-21st Feb 2021, Alexandra Headlands, Sunshine Coast.PAYMENT PLANS END FRIDAY 13TH NOVEMBEREARLY BIRD TICKETS END 31ST NOVEMBER See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Some of you need the courage and permission to take a step of faith.Last week we spoke about dreaming and dreaming with God. That it’s better to take that first step. I believe some of you are still struggling with taking that first step!God needs Saints on earth to do things so He can move through them. There are only a couple of times in the Bible where God has not found a Saint to do His work and He has stepped in.Now, this is your time to not look at things from a worldly perspective. Numbers may not make sense, timing may not make sense. You might be thinking, “What the heck am I doing.” If we are to live by faith, we sometimes have to take the first step when things don’t make sense. Psalms 107Psalm 119:133Romans 4You maybe starting out in business, or you maybe taking the next steps. It doesn’t matter where you are in that journey, just like Abraham who was willing to take his own sons life because of His faith. Now is your time to stand up, take that first step, even in faith of the unseen, claim what is yours and take that leap of faith.Employ the person.Buy the property.Take the path which is scary yet you know is right.Ask for the Holy Ghost’s wisdom and knowledge, so you can navigate it well. When tough times come, don’t ask for God to take them away, ask for wisdom of how to navigate them better.Trust that God has you at His right hand, every step of the way. He’s got you, now go get them!ARE YOU READY TO CREATE A POSITIVE CULTURE OR COMMUNITY THROUGH YOUR MARKETING & LEADERSHIP?LADY, WE ARE SO EXCITED TO BRING TO YOU THE CWIB COMMUNITY CONFERENCE/RETREAT FOR 2021!WE HOPE YOU’RE READY FOR AN AWESOME TIME…DATES: 20TH FEB TO 21ST FEB 2021LOCATION: ALEXANDRA PARK, ALEXANDRA HEADLANDS, SUNSHINE COAST, QLD, AUSTRALIA ***EARLY BIRD PROMO ON GOING***GRAB YOUR TICKETFounder Sarah-Jane Meeson was given a word to inspire women.
