Member of Bournemouth Hip Hop collective ‘The Shaolin Monkeys’; Moo is known for his unique flow and unorthodox approach to structuring bars, which make him stand out from other UK rappers. We chat to Moo about how he got into rap through the likes of Dizzee Rascal and 2Pac, his views on the current state of UK Hip Hop, how he is partial to a bit of Afro Swing and Eva Cassidy, bad lyrics, documentaries with equally bad dubbing, old vs new Kanye, Michael Jackson theories, Juggalos and much more! Host Bill Goodman is joined by Councilman Jake Gibbs of District 3 in Lexington. Councilman Gibbs taught history and logic at the Bluegrass Community and Technical College from 1988-2014. He is a leading expert on the Haldeman-Julius Little Blue Book series. The Little Blue Books were published from 1919 through 1978 by the Haldeman-Julius Publishing Company. In 2007, Councilman Gibbs was awarded a fellowship by the Bibliographical Society of America to facilitate research for his descriptive bibliography of the 2300 titles in the series.

Reign MC has been involved in the Bournemouth grime scene for a long time, and has made a name for himself over the years, not only as an extremely talented and versatile artist, but also as an accomplished battle rapper. We caught up with Reign to talk about what got him into writing bars, some of his influences, his Don’t Flop battles, forming his Hip Hop collective - The Shaolin Monkeys, bodying grime clashes in Swanage and much more! “So what you know about 84?” On Episode 14 of Shotgun The Aux, we are joined by special guest - Bristol Hip Hop artist; Res One. Res One had been involved in the UK Hip Hop scene for many years now, releasing dope music prolifically with Split Prophets, Dutch Mob and as a solo artist respectively. We talked with Res about his journey into Hip Hop through the Bristol skate scene, the foundation and growth of Split Prophets as a Hip Hop collective, French Hip Hop, the story telling aspect within his rhymes, the logistics of setting up his own record label - Green Brick Records, his love of tinned mackerel, and much more! In this episode of FBI Retired case File Review, Kevin Rust reviews his investigation of a rural police officer charged and convicted of deprivation of rights under color of law violations, in connection with the blackjack beating of a Jake Gibbs, an elderly black man held in police custody. Gibbs sustained two broken ribs as the result of the use of excessive force incident. During his Bureau career, Kevin Rust also had assignments in Chicago, Budapest, FBI Headquarters and Quantico. He was a crisis negotiator who responded to many incidents both domestically and internationally and taught negotiation concepts to hundreds of state, local and international officers. Kevin Rust, who prior to entering the FBI was a CPA with Price Waterhouse, currently works as a contractor for the FBI’s International Corruption Unit tracing money flows and identifying for seizure assets that were purchased with money stolen by foreign kleptocrats.
