Muazh Ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه (S41) Muazh رضي الله عنه recited Surah [4:125] during Salah (that Prophet Ibraaheem ﷺ is the Khaleel of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى). A man in the congregation said: “How pleased must have Ibraaheem's (a.s) mother (رضي الله عنها) been when she heard this!”. Indeed She رضي الله عنها was. Nabi Ibraaheem's (a.s) mother was called Ameela رضي الله عنها. She embraced Ibraaheem (a.s) in the fire and kissed him - and was unscathed. Thus, سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ, it was this Messenger (a.s) that Abdullah Ibn Masood رضي الله عنه said Muazh رضي الله عنه is like! One of Muazh's رضي الله عنه sons passed away in Yemen…

In this engaging episode, we explore the diverse and inspiring career of Khaleel Loonat, a clinical pharmacist who has successfully branched out into football scouting and pharmaceutical consultancy. Khaleel shares his journey from initially considering quitting pharmacy school to becoming a valued member of the Leeds United Academy scouting team and an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) student. Khaleel's story begins with his pre-registration year in community pharmacy, where he felt unfulfilled and sought to broaden his horizons through backpacking in South America. This experience opened his eyes to different cultures and pushed him out of his comfort zone. Upon returning, he transitioned to hospital pharmacy, completing a residency program that exposed him to various specialties. A turning point in Khaleel's career came when he discovered his talent for medical coding in GP practices. This unique skill set led to consultancy opportunities and significantly impacted his professional trajectory. Khaleel explains the intricacies of coding, its importance in primary care, and how it can increase practice revenue and improve patient outcomes. The conversation then shifts to Khaleel's journey into football scouting. As a lifelong football enthusiast, he seized an opportunity to become a scout for Leeds United Academy. Khaleel passionately discusses his mission to increase South Asian representation in football academies and shares his proud moments of helping young players secure opportunities with top clubs. Khaleel also delves into his work with pharmaceutical companies, explaining how his clinical experience and communication skills have made him a valuable consultant and speaker. He emphasizes the importance of building relationships and providing value, which has led to numerous opportunities in the industry. Key Takeaways: Pursuing passions alongside a pharmacy career can lead to unexpected opportunities. Coding skills can be a valuable asset in primary care pharmacy. The ACP course offers pharmacists a pathway to expand their clinical skills. Networking and building relationships are crucial for career growth. Pharmacy skills like communication and problem-solving are transferable to other fields. BEHIND THE MIC! Have you been thinking about starting your own podcast? Sometimes entrepreneurship runs in the family. That's certainly the case with Khaleel Loyd, the co-founder, CEO and big brother to the three Loyd brothers that make up Loyd Visuals. Founded in Charlotte in 2016, Loyd Visuals creates boutique video content for promotion, documentary and commercial clients, working with Fortune 100 companies such as Air BnB and Honeywell. Like many entrepreneurs, Khaleel Loyd had to find himself and his passion while working a more traditional 9-5 job, data consulting and healthcare in Khaleel's case. It was during this time that Khaleel and his brothers began to hone their creative skills and identify their passions in visual design. It was soon after that the three founded Loyd Visuals and began making a name for themselves. Khaleel Loyd joins host Nesha Pai for a discussion about his work with Lloyd Visuals, the dynamics of running a business with family, and the power of relationships. Khaleel talks about how the business came together, the unique roles of each of his brothers, and his philosophy of business. Khaleel also gives a poignant and thoughtful answer when asked how he defines success.
