Seth Gent continues his latest podcast guesting to help me explain to the world the endless relevance of the long-running television program 24! We tackle the 3rd and 4th seasons with audio clip recaps and explosive trailers! How can one expect typical gory backstabbing mayhem and still be pleasantly surprised? Are the villains here still pretty extraordinary or a far cry from the first two seasons? Which one is Kim Bauer free (and mostly annoyance free for that matter)? Which seasons clearly got ripped off by blockbusters like The Equalizer and The Dark Knight Rises? Is this still essentially a Miami Vice/Die Hard mash-up that works well? And more plot twists heavily detailed (don't worry, we didn't spoil the endings to either season)! We’re at the midway point of 24: Live Another Day, and the guys hit on the show falling on old habits. Between moles, untrustworthy Presidential aides, people ruining Jack’s operation, and a Kim Bauer-esque bus accident, there’s plenty to break down. Ty, Drew, and Badway also score the alpha male showdown between Boudreau and Bauer, go over some internet chatter, and make some predictions on the second half of the season.
Before and After Kim Bauer started out in a whole different career. After studying art and design, she started her own graphic design firm. It evolved over the years to become a branding agency, working with some big, well known companies. Eventually the company moved into marketing. She was also raising children at the same time and discovered that she couldn't continue to be an absentee mother, so she gave up her company to stay home and home school her children. Now that this phase of her life is over, Kim decided she needed a new line of work. She was looking for something that had a residual income rather than working one to one with clients in her own company, which is very work intensive. Simultaneously, she had reached what most people term middle age and was beginning to realize that she wasn't that young any more. One day, quite by accident, someone handed Kim something that was considered a wrinkle cream. After one week, the results were obvious that this was the most effective skin cream she had ever seen. It raised her energy, self esteem, and happiness level, all great energy boosts. You can see the amazing results for Kim after only 90 days of use. On close inspection, the ingredients are amazingly healthy. It turns out in actuality, the molecule from the oleander plant (the non poisonous part that has been used as a cancer remedy in other countries) is an antioxidant that heals the skin, not just smooths it down. Scars fade, age spots and melanomas disappear, splotchiness smooths out, and dark circles under the eyes fade. Kim now sells this skin healing cream called Nerium as her new business venture.
