Hi it's been a while! Manny is busy with some work stuff so he is gone forever and we're not friends any more :(. Don't worry though everyone I have special new friend Mel from Ultra Queue (a podcast about watching all of Ultraman in production order) to fill in with friendship and podcasting until Manny finishes his various tasks. We are watching the middle Duper Dimension Show: Orguss, over a period of 3 episodes (and then a fourth episode with the OVA sequel.) Is Orguss good? Uhhh well we're a bit divided but it's certainly no Macross. You can watch it if you want I guess. There's a dinosaur that cheats on his girlfriend, that's pretty good.Next time: We will watch Orguss 13-24. As always, in the wise words of Linkara, the next episode will be "OUT WHEN ITS OUT" but it won't be too long probably. Here's a bunch of links:Mel's sourcing:https://futurewarstories.blogspot.com/2020/05/future-war-stories-from-east-super.htmlMel's personal Twitter and Podcast Twitter:https://x.com/dearcrownshttps://x.com/ultra_queueThe opening theme is just a cut down orguss theme and the ending theme is, uh, some other isekai anime. You can reach us at doyourememberrobotech@gmail.com Hosted on Acast. This week, the randomizer kicks off Patreon Request Month 2022 by going all the way back to 2021 to pick Emily Hinton's request for a Pixar instant classic which got a pandemic-induced straight-to-Disney+ release, an animated movie about talking fish where a fish child leaves home and gets taken to...no, not that one. An animated movie about a fish-human hybrid creature who dreams of something more above the surface and...no, not that one either. The one set in Italy where the fish-kid wants to be an astronaut or something and everyone may or may not be gay. Back at it, with one of the smartest episodes we've ever made. Untrue, but we do talk about Watch Mojo enthusiasts, garbage childhood YouTube, the plot of Chef, Doug Walker vs Linkara, Occam's Razor's Ape Lips, lego canon, Vin Diesel's Team Fortress 2, Shrek ReBuild, nude Hobbits, the death of MLG humour, are you allowed to say bussin', and black magic cam witches. High IQ only.
This week, the randomizer takes us all the way back to that magical year of 1979. The 70s were wrapping up, and what did Disney have to show for their first thoroughly Waltless decade? A dwindling animation department; a lot of ground lost to Spielberg, Lucas, Henson and Donner in the "family movie" market; an executive boardroom STILL asking "What would Walt have done?"; and a WHOLE lot of very dumb slapstick comedy sequels starring Don Knotts and/or Tim Conway, or in the case of this week's topic, both! After re-watching some of Linkara's reviews of Frank Miller stories, from ASB to Holy Terror. The one thing Linkara always mentions about Frank, is how he's gone cuckoo for coca-puffs between the writings of The Dark Knight Returns and Sin City. And it got me thinking, "Why do writers do that at times?" Well, here I give my take on it. If you saw Linkara's recent 3-part review, of "Secret Empire", right off the bat, you will notice, that he really have a fondess for padding in a story arc/event comic that doesn't need it. And when you compare some of the arc's in Archie Sonic To The Recent IDW Sonic "Metal Virus/Zombot" arc, you will probably see what Linkara is talking about. Don’t call it a comeback! The Toast has had an eventful summer and is finding the rhythm to get these episodes back to the people. Stay tuned, there is plenty more horrible sh*t on the way… In this lengthy tirade, The Toast recounts his rocky relationship with his own self-identity and explains to Ulrich his many misguided attempts to find it in the reflections of media reviewers. In this confessional, The Toast and Ulrich discuss: Personal Identities, personality traits as TV Tropes, being lonely teenagers, the digital divide, how twitch can make friends, bipolar, the dangers of internet cults-of-personality, Channel Awesome, the Angry Video Game Nerd, doing things for money versus as career, and much much more. Just what is The Nostalgia Critic reviewing this time? Whatever it is, it’s going to be some horrible sh*t… CONTACT US: EMAIL TWITTER

Hello and welcome to this episode of the Littlest PetCast. I hope you like it when things get rambly, because it gets really rambly when we go over the episode "Frenemies", with story by Julie McNally Cahill, Tim Cahill, and Guy Toubes, teleplay by Guy Toubes, and directed by Dallas Parker. In this epsiode we find out that Penny Ling has spent almost a year at the Littlest Pet Shop and Zoe and Pepper decide to throw a party for her. However, Zoe and Pepper disagree on who is in charge. Meanwhile Vinnie looses his tail and believes he can't dance without it.How much do you have to be told something is not going well before you believe it? Can kicking logic to the curb help you become a doctor? Why do these animals suddenly know the word "doctor"? Is the idea of Linkara owning a panda not the funniest thing? What makes you truly a woman?

Out of fuckin’ nowhere, TOS decided to do a Power Rangers episode. Okay, not completely out of nowhere, as Max had started watching a little show by the name of Akibaranger, which kickstarted the idea. But rather go into some boring plot summary of a cheesy children’s show, the guys talk about their own childhood memories of the show, have some laughs at Linkara’s expense, tell you why you should watch Akibaranger, and so much more! Also Andrew is off the next couple of episodes.
After knocking out the last couple of Channel Awesome contributors they missed last episode, the trio at The Other Side go their experiences having actually sat through Linkara’s Atop The Fourth Wall movie. And man-oh-man do they wish they hadn’t! Could this “film” actually be worse than To Boldly Flee? And what’s this about a scene that’s legitimately funny? You’ll have to listen and find out!
So Legend of Korra ended awhile back. You might’ve heard about it. ‘Lotta brouhaha over the statement by the creators of the show that Korrasami is canon, but is it true? Do we really have our first homosexual couple in children’s television? Or is there something else going on? Could the “Word of God” actually be wrong, here? Is The Other Side making such a bold statement? If they were, they’d have to have some pretty strong proof, now wouldn’t they…? Also, The Other Side dives DEEP (so very deep, perhaps TOO deep…)into the hentai habits of Linkara of Atop The Fourth Wall. How does the TGWTG star get off? All sorts of ways!

The Kamen Riders have been eliminated to prevent the title from being obnoxiously long. Due to the recent disasters in Japan, the flow of news has sorta been pushed to a hault. We spend the news portion of the episode discussing Super Hero Time, the Japan Relief Effort organized by Ryokuya, and supported by nearly every Tokusatsu related site on the web. United, we really can make a difference. We also take a look at a couple OOO Rumors, as apparently they wait for no one. Since there was no Super Hero Time this weekend (except for us!), we take a look and discuss at last Summer's Chou Den-O Trilogy films, followed by the sixth episode of Samurai Summaries with Shuki *cha!*! We wrap up the show with a discussion of Linkara's latest HoPR video, which sparked an idea in little Shuki's brain.
