This new trend of vilifying alcohol as the scourge of the earth seems incredibly hyperbolic to me. Yes, drinking can be bad, but it can also be good. It all depends on how you use it and how it affects you. In life, we often trade risks for pleasure or payoff. A night out with friends and drinks can lead to fun adventures and encounters that wouldn't happen otherwise. The public response is even more amazing in light of a substantial pre-bunking campaign launched by the usual suspects on social media, along with legions of UAP newcomers who loudly proclaimed their profound outrage and disappointment before a single document or video was actually released. (Moaning, groaning, and digital caterwauling by UFO folk are essential and inevitable reactions to any and all new developments related to the topic.) The documents and videos released onto the DOW website do not constitute anything approaching full disclosure or total transparency. Anyone who expected to see crashed saucers or alien bodies on Day One of the UFO initiative must be either naive newcomers or devoted disruptors. The public was told in advance by Rep. A pair of brilliant intelligence analysts working for the DIA circa 2006-2007 came up with an idea to design the largest, most audacious, and most secretive UFO program ever funded by the US government. It was dubbed AAWSAP, and the public never knew it existed until 7 years after it ended. In its 27-month existence, it created the world's largest UFO data warehouse, a stack of more than 100 thick, highly detailed reports filled with hard data about UFO cases and incidents, as well as rigorous, original investigations into connections between UFO incidents and paranormal phenomena. The two instigators of AAWSAP came to believe that paranormal events were not a subset of UFO cases, but rather, the opposite. UFOs were - and are - a small slice under a larger paranormal umbrella, according to nuclear engineer, rocket scientist, and DIA analyst Dr. James Lacatski, who was appointed director of AAWSAP and who continued to rely on his fellow innovator, Jay Stratton, who later became head of the UAP Task Force. In this sometimes-tense conversation, Dr. Lacatski reveals that, as far as he knows, no one in government knows the full story about UFOs or where they originate, or what intelligence is behind them. Lacatski has just released "Future Visions," his fourth book culled from the unreleased files of AAWSAP. He doubts that the actual files will ever be released, and that his books constitute the closest thing to full disclosure the public might ever get. Lacatski says there is no way another AAWSAP will ever be approved, but hints that a smaller, more focused effort related to the proposed Kona Blue program did carry on after AAWSAP ended.
