Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes! Possibly David Bowie's last words, although we have it on good authority that his actual last words were “I wish I made a banger as good as ‘C'est La Vie' by B*witched'. Either way, it truly is a time of change at Saints, as we enter an empty Spoony-less future. You know who will still be here though? Your old pals Sam and Dan, and we start that off with Episode 84 of your favourite good time listening, The Dogger Saints Podcast! We talk about all the furore surrounding yet another St. Johnstone PR masterclass, as the two of the three most successful players in the history of the club unceremoniously made up part of the released list this week, and look at the job facing the new manager and CEO as they look to build a new version of St. Johnstone. We also say fond farewells to retiring club legend Murray Davidson, and outgoing Chairman Steve Brown as they move onto pastures new following the conclusion of this season, as we also look at the trip to Dingwall and home game against Livingston to round matters off. You know what'll lift the mood? No, not Sam beatboxing, but features by bucket load! We have a glorious gardening related Theme Team, a frankly bizarre Club Shop of Shame, and an even more bizarre Cash Grab Chronicles. Sam Miller's deep dive into Artificial Intelligence! Danny Williams takes on Callum Davidson! Nike Pro Undercrackers! We've got it all, and you know what? We'd love you to join us. Get there!

The feedback to Episode 26 of the show with https://www.instagram.com/mjcole/ (MJ Cole) was overwhelming. But we came away from that episode without the real insider story of the UK Garage scene being told - what we got instead was the MJ Cole story, which was amazing in itself, but missing some of the key details as to how this unique genre of Dance Music unfolded. This week we welcome one of the absolute best people around to fill in those gaps and really dig into the development of UKG, and that man is none other than https://www.instagram.com/djspoony/ (DJ Spoony). As part of the Dreem Teem (with Timmi Magic and Mikee B) he presented the key UK Garage show on https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/live:bbc_radio_one (BBC Radio 1), was resident at arguably the most important UK Garage night in Twice As Nice, and was a general ambassador for a sound that took over the UK charts and radio waves in the late 90s and early 2000s. So we get the full Garage story here, as well as discussing the effect of institutional racism on the UK music scene, his early years as a DJ pre-UKG, and his other career in football broadcasting. I had high expectations for this episode but I think it exceeded them... you're gonna love this. DJ Spoony is a British DJ and radio presenter. He is a member of the UK garage production trio, the Dreem Teem. He joins Steven on this episode to talk about his background and upbringing, his incredible rise to fame, and the driving force behind his career that has allowed him to build the life he lives. KEY TAKEAWAYS The best people to have around us are the ones who listen to our aspirations and ask us the questions that lead to the answers that get you there. There are no barriers to your dreams. The world is a new place and filled with countless opportunities to have the career of your dreams. The joy of others and the feeling you get from making people happy, can be addictive. If you can build a career around it, then it becomes a calling. Sometimes we focus far too much on what we don't have, and lose sight of what we do have. We need to stop and refocus from time to time. BEST MOMENTS 'You have to look at it from a 360 point of view' 'The world's a different place. We know different things now' 'It was only about the music. I just love making people dance and giving them joy' 'Being content is actually quite important' VALUABLE RESOURCES The Steven Sulley Study DJ Spoony Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/djspoony/?hl=en ABOUT THE HOST The Steven Sulley Study is my take on success. My view is you should have multiple focuses to be a well-rounded individual. As a person who has made a success in life and also made huge cock-ups I feel I can offer suggestions and tips on how to become successful or at least start your pursuit. My 'Study' has taken resources from reading and education plus being around, my perception, of successful people and I, know a lot of successful people from all walks of life. My 'Study' coming from my experiences in business, investing, sales (my core background), training, boxing and education has enabled me to become well rounded and successful and I will help you in these key areas too. “Every major industry on our planet is about to be completely reimagined. For entrepreneurs, for innovators, for leaders, for anyone sufficiently nimble and adventurous, the opportunities will be incredible.”Technology is accelerating far more quickly than anyone could have imagined. During the next decade, we will experience more upheaval and create more wealth than we have in the past hundred years. In this gripping and insightful roadmap to our near future, Diamandis and Kotler investigate how wave after wave of exponentially accelerating technologies (defined as any technology that doubles in power while dropping in price on a regular basis) will impact both our daily lives and society as a whole.
Dr. Gary Epler has developed the Eplerian Philosophy which is a modern-day life philosophy based on brain science defined as “know who you are moment by moment.” This means stay out of your bad brain regions and stay in the good. Applications of the Eplerian philosophy include learning how to eliminate the harmful effects of stress by managing anger, fear, worry and anxiety. This will help manage the many types of self-centered thinking including self-criticism, self-pity, resentment, judgment and blame. The Eplerian philosophy for people to live their best lives at home, at work and in the community.
