Despite putting so much towards his loans he has also saved more than half a million dollars and also bought a new car with cash. He also provided a lot of great information about being a locums doc. On this week's podcast Paul and Wally take a closer look at the Gov.'s comments on Face the Nation. MLG rarely gives televised interviews to the NM media, so each conversation with the national media is worth scrutinizing. Even when she says factual things her remarks often make us wonder what about her statements and their accuracy and intent. Gubernatorial candidate Deb Haaland uses some imprecise language to attack "millionaires and billionaires" in a recent tweet. MLG says a special session of the Legislature is coming soon. Unfortunately, they are almost universally bad although ONE good bill not only passed both houses, but almost overcame an MLG veto. Finally, Paul had a chance to testify as an expert witness on Sen. Jay Block's "GATO" bill on rooting out wasteful government spending (SB 484). You don't want to miss this detailed recap of some of the bills that will likely become new laws in New Mexico.
